We had an excellent stay. Swiss is a new, modern and spacious building with convenient parking in the basement. Room was nice, clean … and equally spacious. Staffceas friendly and flexible. We used the shared washing machine and dryer, it worked fine. Maybe only two `negative` things to mention … the tap in the bathroom was just able to reach over the sink, hence some water spill on the table top, and the breakfast was a bit `flat`. However, these are minor issues and only mentioned by spoiled guests 😊

Large room, nice convenient bar area, contemporary furnishings, thick large towels in bathroom, Maytag washing machine and seperate dryer located on level 3, gym located on level 1, handy location across road from Pak n Save. Only downside was toilet was squished in tiny area right up against handbasin. An overweight person would definitely not be able to fit on the loo!

We’ve stayed at Swiss Belboutique several times now but I’m afraid we won’t be back. It’s simply getting the basics wrong. Room did not smell great (stale and musty), no plates or cutlery (aside from a couple of teaspoons), issues with hot water (or lack of it), being chased out of the room pretty much dead on check out time. Nothing 5 star about this. The one thing I will say is that you could see that all thre staff were trying their best (housekeeping were lovely). Maybe understaffed? Not sure but sorry guys, you’ve definitely lost a regular customer.

Great location and a really nice property - it's just a shame the bed was so uncomfortable. Possibly a little overpriced in comparison to some other properties in Napier. Great service, very clean and the breakfast was cooked to order which was great.

Nice room, however the bathroom stank badly- like moldy plumbing- turns out it was the sink overflow drain. I'm amazed the cleaners hadn't noticed the small- it was bad. They quickly moved us to another room and all was well. Friendly staff, comfortable bed.

For the money spent to stay here (which was to be a treat), the art deco light in bedroom had blown bulbs, there was black mould on floor in shower, it was not overly friendly, staff pleasant but not friendly and there is a difference. I’ve stayed in cheaper, cleaner and definitely more friendly places. Would I recommend, no ! There’s heaps of choices so I’d recommend you try another accommodation option if in Napier.

Hey, the shower pressure was bad. The tap did not really aim at the sink so we had the water leaking and flooding the floor. There weren't enough towels to dry the floor. The garage key drop off box was pretty much of a task to reach to from driving seat. Otherwise the stay was pleasant.

Nice room. There is a separate TV area from the bedroom, which is nice, but it also means you can’t watch TV from bed. The lighting in the TV area was strange - only one switch to turn on three lightning areas, so it was either super bright, or dark.

Nice hotel, lovely room! We did mention to the front desk staff that the towel rack was loose and the bathroom sink tap was not appropriate size for the sink. Definitely too short and when you washed your hands water went everywhere besides in the sink. The hotel bar did not have a liquor licence so we were unble to enjoy that. And the restaurant was only for breakfast so we couldn't use the 20 percent off food and beverage credit for being VIP. We had breakfast included in our room because that was the price point room we reserved. We would stay again if the bar is open and restaurant served food other than breakfast.

Great stay. The only thing that was a bit of a nuisance was the position of the tap in the bathroom over the basin meant that water spilled onto the vanity top and then on to the floor. Other than that the location and amenities were great.

It was in a good location close to town, but our room had a view of the Pak n save so not so nice. The room was big and clean. Our room was close to the lifts so you could hear it when it was going up and down which was annoying. Breakfast was really good though. Nice having the cooked options.

Staff very helpful. Breakfast good. The killer was bathroom in the suite. It was clean, but the toilet was so close to the vanity, I literally could not sit on the toilet. I cannot believe that was built to code.

staff were very friendly on check-in - took a few minutes out to have a chat to us and get us situated. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was okay but not much of a choice, but that was okay. Walking distance to the beach and the promenade.

We were there for family event, we book for 3 pm when we got there our room wasn't ready, after a long 4 hour drive. The staff done an amazing job to help us get in to our room. So grateful we got into our room and was amazing separate lounge and bed room walk in shower we ended up staying an extra night was perfect for us. Across the road was a supermarket really convenient. If we come back to Napier will stay there a again perfect

Reception man was rude. Talk to me properly I’m not stupid! And don’t be derogatory or condescending plz that’s just ugly. Stay got off on wrong foot. Room service was not good either. Milk not stocked back up, no plates or cutlery in kitchenette you gotta ring for these items?! Why have all the drawers, sink etc and none of this. Bathroom not restocked properly either. One rubbish bin in whole room of like 30-40sqms. Zero bin in bathroom?! Wardrobe was weird looked tall but my dresses were touching the bottom of it inside. Iron was not what I’d expect with what we paid for this room - Gummon Swiss Belboutique Napier! We paid nearly double on the Saturday night to stay compared to Friday night which was at @$290! So ripped off! Pillow was comfy and soft. Bed was large and comfy too. Not going back here, the end.

We always stay in this property when ever we are in Napier . Great service, walkable distance to near by cafés and restaurants. Sukhdeep sharma Present Manager was very hospitable. He made sure our stay was comfortable. Highly recommend this place . Looking forward for our next stay. Cheers Mon

A couple of nights in Napier on the route across NZ. The Swiss-Bel is located in a mostly commercial area, but an easy walk to city center for restaurants and shops. Reception was cordial and efficient, breakfast is abundant with nice diversity and parking is below ground and out of harms way.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property, the room was well styled, very modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable and we felt at home. The carpark is quite tight if you have a larger car but you are made aware of that in their information. We were able to park up and walk everywhere needed so this was not a problem. Short walk into town and to the beach, across the road from a supermarket. We would definately stay again.
