Stayed 4 nights

The staff was very helpful and quickly responded to any requests. Anything we needed in the room was provided. The hot water/cold water valves in the shower and sinks were "quirky" (you had to turn on the cold water first, and then slowly turn on the hot water) but they worked and it was fine. The only thing a guest should be aware of is that this hotel is one block from the railroad tracks, and trains go by 3-4 times every night, and they blast their horns at every intersection, including the intersection at this hotel. Bring really good foam earplugs and you should be fine. Other than this, our stay was very good, particularly if you want to be in the heart of the old downtown area.

Location-wise it was good as I was going over the boarder on following day. The room was clean but the layout was not very convenient. A power socket above sink did not look safe and some other things they could improve but it was a good place to stay.
