Recently renovated location has some pretty views and updates. It’s more like an updated roadside motel with decent amenities than new or renovated hotel. Has an outdoorsy camping feel and even a fire pit if that’s your thing. Still needs some work (fan in the bathroom sounded like it was on its last legs, parking lots could use paving, indoor pool could use a re-do, etc) but outdoor pool was good, some room update attempts were good (other than some weird stick decoration that looked Blair Witch-ish), and service/location were good. It’s a decent option for a weekend if the price is right.

Nicely renovated quiet place in a great location. Walkable to many places, including the Stowe walking/biking path and several restaurants and the main part of town. Bed was comfortable. Nice fire pit outside with plenty of provided wood for the fire. Great main building with bar, pool and hot tub. Highly recommend this place.

This property was amazing. Indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, hot tub, small weight room, game room with a pool table and arcade games. The lounge and dining area was comfy and while the restaurant wasn't anything fancy, it offered decent snacks and sandwiches and drinks. They have a fire pit at sundown and they sell s'mores kits. My teenage kids were over the moon. It was so much fun. I would hands down recommend and we will definitely be back. Can't say enough about it.

Beautiful place to stay, room was nice and comfortable for family. Indoor pool, sauna, hot tub was very nice. Although they have coffee, It would have been nice to have a cafe on site to order drinks like lattes so that we didn’t have to drive. We would recommend this place

They had construction happening and the loudest steam roller that shook our room and the ground across the parking lot. It was behind our room so it may have been the adjacent property. The staff were great. The room was beautiful and smelled amazing. The breakfast croissant was hard as a rock. The hot tub had a thick layer of mold around the side. My wife was about to go in and the worker said he was going to shock it. He should’ve scrubbed it. It was still slimy. The rooms were good though.

It was a nice place. Staff were nice and room was good but the deck photos are not accurate- small deck that was maybe 2x4 with 2 chairs. Good area and restaurants in area. Pool was closed but were able to use sister property

The room was clean and bed very comfortable. Nice soft sheets. The cleaning service did a good job. The lobby and grounds very nice. It’s a bare bones room, comfortable and has everything you need but nothing on the walls, very plain decor. The lighting in this particular room and bathroom was not bright enough so hard to do makeup. The room is very dark, doesn’t get much sunlight because of the woods behind this building. We stayed in the building at the very back of the property. Would be very handy to have an iron or steamer in the room for wrinkled clothes coming out of a suitcase. The grounds, pool, firepit are very nice. Pool was closed when we were there but they also have an indoor pool. Overall we would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Cady Lodge. Friendly staff, really cute lodge, small arcade, pool, gym, and hot tub with large locker room. Close to everything. Everything felt very freshly renovated. Only downsides: one of our top sheets at sticky stuff on it. They did replace it when I asked but it made me question the cleanliness of the bedding. The other downside is no complementary breakfast. They do have a few items for purchase, but it's a little expensive for what it is. I'd go to the bagel place across the street next time.

Adorable property, the rooms were adorable but a little dirty. The floors were filthy and the bathroom had hair in the shower and on the floor from the previous people. The property is adorable and quaint. The fireplace and view of the pond in the morning was very nice. The staff was pleasant and they check on you through out your stay. Overall happy just wish it was a little cleaner.

The lodge was ok. Front desk service was excellent. The room lacked lights. I realize that it is a lodge vibe but the room could use more lights. Also the mini refrigerator did not work and the room could of been cleaner.

I should have paid attention to the other reviews, this was a glorified motel. We left 2 days early. Our shower was dirty and it looked like a poor attempt at being updated. The room had a musty smell and the sheets smelled like they were old and had a used body odor to them. The bed was comfortable and the view was pretty but the photos are misleading of the room. We will be back to Stowe but we definitely won’t be staying here, especially for the price.

The staff was wonderful upon check in, and very welcoming. The room was small with little lighting, which work or reading a challenge. I was uncomfortable with the lack of a cross-over deadbolt, traveling alone. Most hotels have this as extra security. Also, the first towel I grabbed was dirty and stained.

Great setting, for sure, fire outs where great to converse with new people, sit back and relax! Room was ok clean, somewhat comfortable, AC needed cleaning at the interior grills, loaded with dust, needs to be done! Back porch was neat, chairs needed a clean off. Check in was good and the area was nice, communication was very good and certain questions, would go back!

Light was low, hard to see, room too hot even with AC, window screen needed to be fixed, strange low furniture, hard to find a surface to set anything down besides the bench. No dresser, awkward cramped closet with fridge & microwave in it, couldn’t use the TV streaming options without a Samsung account. Bed was very comfortable. Good shower. Noise at night from guests but may have been from a drunk wedding party.

Rooms are odd. Bedroom is tight with a king bed. No drawers just a large credenza with tv space and 2 place to throw stuff. No top light. Narrow in spots. Nice closet with over head light. Bathroom was narrow. Loud fan. The toilet paper holder protruded onto the toilet area. No real place to put any articles by the sink. Or even other areas in the bathroom. Good shower. Living room had dim top lights. Nice tv. No espn! We did not have breakfast and had to wait a good while for an ironing board (to be delivered upon request. Nive space to seat people in living room and also nice fireplace with wood for winter. Rooms were clean and service nice.

Main lodge is beautiful. Our room on the other hand was a king room in the single track building. Bed was very comfortable and pillows as well. Only one window in room and it faces the fire pit so had to keep my blind shut the whole time for privacy and it makes it feel like a prison room. The lighting in the room is awful. Two bright lights recessed in the ceiling were too much. Lights beside the bed are attached to the walls and facing outward so the bulbs shine in your face. A couple of regular lamps on each side of the bed would be better. There was a little room where the bathroom sink is to put all our mountain bike gear, which was nice. A mini fridge for drinks was handy. Bathroom shower and toilet were in own space and small, but nice shower and water pressure and hot water. And we got put next to a room with the noisiest, inconsiderate kids. They were outside yelling and screaming almost until 8 pm and going in and out of their room and slamming the door. Not the resorts fault more like the parents fault. But for advice to the resort if you have a couple staying here don’t put them in a room next to kids. Most couples want quiet and this was not. Overall a decent stay.

The front desk staff didn't have much to say, as friendly as a wet noodle. Surprise charges appeared, and the a/c in the room was not working well, and the front window was painted shut. Told the front desk upon checkout and the gent with the earbuds in his ear didn't seem to care or know what to say.

Everything about this hotel was lovely. On trend with all the lark properties; modern and clean lined, simple and comfortable. No frills but what they do provide is top notch. Super comfy bed and pillows. The front desk/check in was lackluster and uninformatice and not very welcoming or friendly. But that’s ok I guess. It would have been the cherry on top. My advice: hire more service oriented and friendly front desk staff.

1. The sign had no “Bluebird” word and it’s confused. 2. Receptionist NEVER picked up the phone and always said I had a customer but it’s not. 3. Receptionist over-talk person and argued for any/no reason. 4. Stuff not organized, extremely slow and useless. TV had a problem and I waited more than an hour to fix that issue. 5. Manager out of service but replied on txt “omg never heard that before”. Of course my friend! 6. Rooms had no line phone and if you need to reach to reception desk you better walk there. They didn’t pickup and never call back. 7. Room is not bad and clean. Had a stale air, bathroom fan extremely loud, shower curtains hanged too high after shower all floor is wet. Mattress as a turkey hill you need to climb in center and try to hold position during your sleeping. The bed had no headrest and space between the wall and mattress is huge. Not bad at all for $200, isn’t it? But the nature and smell of the forest are priceless!! Enjoy your stay in Bluebird! Or maybe not? Is it a Bluebird? Thank you guys after you I’ll never trust to exceptional rates. Thanks you open my eyes!

Overall, a good experience. The room was pretty basic, paid extra for fireplace and balcony and the fireplace was really small. Pretty views though. Told us upon arrival that the hot tub wasn't working which was a bummer (especially since they charge a service fee), but they said we could use the hotel next door's if we wanted. Great location, super convenient to get to various restaurants and shops.

Cady Hill lodge was a great spot to explore Stowe from skiing, to dining and shopping! The bus stop to get to the mountain is right in front of the hotel and brings you right to the lodges! And the reverse direction drops you right downtown! We walked to Apres only for live music, Bench, the Backyard and Doc Ponds for dinners and were a 15 min drive to Ben and Jerry’s and multiple breweries! The staff was helpful, friendly, rooms were spacious and clean, and the lobby/check in area with pool, hot tub, arcade and restaurant/bar were fabulous to hang out in, take a swim or enjoy a breakfast or snack and drink! We’d definitely go back and recommend!

My family had a wonderful stay at Cady Hill. The Lodge exceeded our expectations. The staff were all amazing, the premises was lovely and it was close to both the ski hill and Stowe main street. The free shuttle stopped right out front so it was extreme convenient getting around. Highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay with plenty for kids and adults to do. The room was beautiful and spacious for 4 of us. We enjoyed our stay but did not enjoy the pizzas. They were poor quality and tasted cheap. Great place to stay but avoid the microwaved food.

We loved our experience at Bluebird Cady Hill in Stowe! Overall, the staff was lovely and the area was beautiful. We loved the lounge atmosphere and the grilled cheese and tomato soup was 10 out of 10! The rooms were okay. There was no iron or ironing board provided (in room) which was definitely a negative for us. Andy when we borrowed the housekeepings iron it was basically broken. Otherwise a very positive and lovely experience.

Seems 'hygge' (scandinavian cozy). Comfortable rooms with modern upscale cozy furniture and bedding. Newly remodeled. Close to lots of restaurants, walkable. Their main lobby/lounge is nice to hand out in and has a nice selection of food, which seems to of high quality. Overall, highly recommend.

Wonderful place within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Outdoor and indoor pools are amazing!! Onsite restaurant is pretty good and even offers pizza delivery! And the staff is super nice!
