Overall the experience is amazing. 1) The hotel is very responsive in messaging on hotels.com. 2) They are flexible about the pickup place for airport shuttle. We paid $20 for 3 people. 3) We had breakfast and dinner at the hotel, both were great! 4) We didn't know before hand but there are a few hiking trails and also a bike trail in the hotel area.

We totally love this place! Staff is super friendly, check in was super quick and the food was amazing. This area is very secluded and quiet. No TVs in room which helped us connect with each other. The only issue we had is that the blankets smelled like mold but they changed them immediately once we asked. We recommend it!

Friendly staff. Clean, spacious rooms. Ours had a shower open to the outdoors, which I wasn’t sure I would like, but it was awesome. No bugs! Beds were pretty hard though. Nice restaurant with friendly waitstaff and good food. Nice breakfast buffet! They had hotel umbrellas for is to use when it was raining one day. Will stay again.

We really enjoyed the scenery and location of the hotel. It was a bit isolated and about a 20 min drive from the Flores town. We did not mind at all. The location was peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are surrounded by a lake and nature. The staff was very attentive and kind. The pool was next to the lake and restaurant, where it made it easy to order. The prices for excursions might be higher at the hotel. We booked an excursion to the blue crater and found out that we paid twice as much than other people staying at other hotels near the town. Also, Room did not have a television. Other than that, the hotel is a top place to stay if Peten Guatemala. We loved our stay there!

The staff here were great, however the rooms could use some maintenance and upgrades. The staff were friendly and incredibly helpful arranging shuttles to Flores and the airport. Our room was the last building so took a few minutes to find our door. The room itself needed some work. The biggest issue was the AC unit that unfortunately loudly clanked when turned on. The choice was either a hot, stuffy room or a loud AC unit. Neither great for sleep. The bed was very firm, maybe a step up from the floor, and added to sleep difficulties. We had an early flight so not getting quality sleep was frustrating. Again, the staff were excellent, I would just suggest upgrading the mattresses and doing some maintenance work on the AC unit.

Wunderbare Unterkunft etwas außerhalb gelegen an einer Lagune, superfreundliches Personal und extrem hilfsbereit. Alles entsprach den Beschreibungen oder wurde übertroffen - eine Unterkunft zum Relaxen und Genießen wie Ausgangspunkt zu Touren.
