A lovely, quiet resort. No bars open past 11pm! Pools are gorgeous and very clean. The staff in general are not very engaging, not UNfriendly, but not exactly friendly either. I would say the staff need more hospitality training, especially in the specialty restaurants. Would also be helpful if the staff spoke a little bit of English. Their English was even more limited than my Spanish. There is zero nightlife after 11pm. The included alcohol isn't very good. I could only drink the gin and tonic. And the top shelf booze is too expensive. We bought a bottle of good rum at the local store for way less. We didn’t have any hot water until the last day. Not a major deal but…. Would be nice lol.

Minha estadia superou as expectativas. Cientes de que se tratava de um hotel de baixo custo, não esperávamos luxo, mas a relação custo-benefício foi excelente. O quarto em que ficamos tinha uma vista para o mar e a limpeza diária era suficiente. Embora o ar-condicionado fosse um pouco barulhento, a água quente do chuveiro era perfeita. Um ponto negativo foi o degrau perigoso no banheiro, que exigia atenção. A comida foi uma surpresa positiva. O buffet principal tinha grande variedade, com estações de omelete, massa e corte de carne, além de pães frescos . Há dois restaurantes à la carte para o jantar: o de comida italiana era muito bom, enquanto o dominicano deixou a desejar. Havia também food trucks que serviam hambúrgueres e petiscos. A comida era bem gordurosa, mas ótima para "quebrar o galho". Para o lazer, o hotel conta com quatro piscinas: três de água salgada com uma vista fantástica do pôr do sol e uma grande de água doce. Havia espreguiçadeiras disponíveis em todos os dias. O hotel não tem acesso direto à praia, mas oferece uma van gratuita a cada 30 minutos. À noite, por volta das 21h30, há apresentações variadas perto da piscina principal, que são uma agradáveis. O único ponto negativo foi o atendimento. A maioria dos funcionários foi ríspida e mal-humorada, fazendo apenas o mínimo necessário e impactando negativamente a experiência. The property was absolutely beautiful and the pools were lovely to swim in, but they closed at 7 which was too early imo. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The entertainment was great and there were a lot of food options, but unfortunately most were not tasty. Unfortunately the beef was almost always undercooked, but the chicken was always perfect. Overall, I had a great time and the staff and facility was beautiful. Also tons and tons of crabs by the ocean lol!

My partner and I had an extremely relaxed and calming trip. The shuttle to the beach everyday which leaves every 30 minutes was perfect. Food was great, poolside reading and naps. I would only say the djs in the early mornings could maybe play more chill tunes like Bob Marley and save the JAMS for after lunch. All in all it was an amazing stay and would recommend.

This resort is a hidden gem. Diving into the sea is amazing, along with the snorkelling. We walked to huge beach once, an easy 15 minutes through a local town, but that is the only time we went to the beach. Didn’t miss it at all. The water was so warm to simply dive into. Infinity pools are amazing. Food was super. If you want a big resort with action and entertainment, don’t pick this one. If you want peace and quiet and to always have a hut with a little entertainment around supper and the beautiful Caribbean Sea to dive into and supposed you, then pick here. It is completely safe to walk off resort and eat locally, which we did for fun, even though we were all inclusive. This place is a dream.

Fantastic hotel with all inclusive food and drinks. Free shuttle to bayahibe beach was convenient and on time. Definitely did not regret staying here. Huge plus was the different pools we could use during our stay, absolutely loved ending the day at one of the pools everyday before dinner with great views! There was also activities throughout the day like water aerobics, yoga and activities at night like dancing, silent party, nightly shows etc. 10/10 highly recommend!!

Dining was very bland and hard to get into reservations? Massage was NOT worth $70. The windows in the room had horrible curtains so they was always so much sunlight when trying to sleep. Rooms were hot, we moved the bed in front of the air conditioning. The bars closed at 11pm at an All-Adults resort? The pools closed earlier and staff put our stuff in Lost & Found when we were swimming during daylight ? Took three days to get it back because they just kept telling us they didn’t have it without looking? Horrible experience .

The pools and view are gorgeous and I loved having direct access to the ocean. There is no "beach" on the property, but you can hop on a ladder into the sea, which was perfect. I did not like that you could only borrow a snorkel from 8am - 12:30pm, so I just bought one. Also would have liked the hot tub to be hot - it was not. Overall, expect a beautiful property with some inconveniences. Our shower was *only* hot at 5pm everyday. The food was not good, and most of the food at the surrounding restaurants is also not good. The food is edible, it just isn't good. The "all-inclusive" price only includes well cocktails, some wine and presidente beer - everything else requires cash. The staff are lovely and responsive - just don't expect drink service or to be offered anything without asking first.

Mi estadía en el HM Alma de Bayahibe del 26 de noviembre de este año comenzó bastante bien: el check-in fue rápido y las áreas comunes lucían cuidadas. También quiero destacar que algunos empleados fueron muy amables durante nuestra estancia, como Esterlin en la barra de la piscina, el equipo del bufet, el muchacho del food truck y el señor que nos vendió la excursión a Altos de Chavón, quien nos envió con Dennis, un joven excelente que nos complació en todo el camino y nos trató muy bien. Sin embargo, la experiencia cambió al llegar a la habitación. El aire acondicionado no funcionaba; pensamos que podía ser algo de programación y decidimos esperar, pero al día siguiente seguía igual. Cuando lo reportamos, nos comentaron que ese aire ya había sido reportado previamente. Esa noche fue casi imposible dormir del calor, y aunque había abanico de techo, el aire que tiraba era caliente. Además, en esa misma habitación encontramos una cucaracha, algo que no llegamos a reportar por olvido, pero que definitivamente indica que deberían reforzar la fumigación. Ya molestos, regresamos a recepción y solo por insistencia logramos que nos cambiaran de habitación. Si no lo hubiéramos exigido, probablemente hubiéramos pasado toda la estadía en un “sauna”. Al día siguiente nos dijeron que fuéramos a solicitar una compensación. La “compensación” fue un desayuno en la habitación a las 8:00 a.m… desayuno que nunca llegó. Yo pedí una devolución parcial del dinero, pero nos dijeron que no traba

O hotel possui uma ótima infraestrutura, e as instalações são bem preservadas e limpas. O staff tem um atendimento atencioso e muito educado. A facilidade de você poder chegar mais cedo pagar um valor adicional e poder já começar a desfrutar dos benefícios do hotel é um grande diferencial. Existe um malleiro que você pode deixar as suas coisas guardadas com segurança. Todas as opções de restaurantes são ótimas e bem servidas, são muitas opções de comida, então você não sofre se não gostar de comer determinadas coisas. O quarto é bem grande limpo e arejado. O hotel dispõe de quatro piscinas sendo uma de água doce e os outros tem água salgada, muito bom. Apesar de não ter acesso para a areia da praia, você pode ter acesso ao mar onde é possível fazer mergulho pago a parte ou snorkel ou simplesmente nadar no mar se souber nadar. É muito gostoso e tem um salva-vidas que fica todo tempo de olho nas pessoas. O fato de não poder entrar crianças acho que é um grande diferencial para quem quer ir e relaxar, realmente é muito tranquilo. Toda paga em dólar americano. Os dias que fiquei lá minha única preocupação era não perder o horário dos restaurantes, não se esqueçam de reservar o jantar no italiano, é muito bom. Não conheci o restaurante japonês, também não vi muito movimento mas é pago um valor à parte para poder desfrutar, não cheguei a ver qual é o valor. Quase não tem brasileiro, maioria francês.

Upon arrival the room had ants all over. There was no fresh clean scent, nothing was wiped clean. We did call room service and after a tip it was cleaned well, but that should not be the case for having a clean room. Otherwise staff was okay, everyone just seemed to be in their own world and move at their own pace. You had great ocean/pool views, but you did not get that sense of Royalty. You had zero room service option, so you had to go and get all your own food/drinks. No heated pools, hot tubs, nothing. Food was okay quite repetitive and options were not a huge variety.

El lugar es bonito, pero lo tienen muy descuidado, los ascensores están sucios, la comida se le pega las moscas y nadie está pendiente de eso, el staff la mayoría solo trabaja por trabajar y ya les falta ser amables. Solo Cristian que trabaja en el turno de la tarde fue amable y muy simpático. Pero en si no volvería a este resort. Pero el área es muy bello.

Quarto quando chegamos estava sujo após solicitar a limpeza mesmo que não estivessem vindo, não limparam, tampa do vaso sanitária estragada , barata no box do chuveiro. Overall good ! The staff is great! Food is okay. The rooms however were not very clean , we had to change rooms because the first one smelled strongly like cigar, and they gave us another room which was a downgrade, the room smell like humidity and in the new room there was a cockroach.

There’s a few things I’d like to share about this property. It’s absolutely beautiful. The food is not 5 star, but it’s delicious with many options. We never felt hungry while we were here. Pools are lovely, lots of options for seating. Many activities to participate in if you so choose. The minuses for us: Our room was an ocean view, gorgeous. However every night from 9-11 there loud music being played. Ear plugs almost do the trick but not quite. Therefore, if you go to be early ask for a room where you won’t hear much noise. One of our windows would not shut all the way and our slide doors wouldn’t lock. Thankfully we were in the 3rd floor. We love coffee! the machine in the room was terrible and we couldn’t get the buffet coffee until 730. Only sugar in the room, no milk or any type of creamer. People were very friendly even if they couldn’t speak English! We originally thought we were going to a quieter part of the island, however it was not quiet. Overall, nice stay.

The room ( partial ocean view) was great with nice balcony, staff was very friendly, view and grounds were nice. Bus to beach and beach was good too. Food was not so good, in fact it made my companion sick one day. We didnt drink any alcohol so cant blame that. Overall we got what we paid for, since it was super inexpensive. Liked the activities and the pools on the ocean. Cleanliness in the room was just ok. Bed was comfortable. Shower was just ok. The food might need some more attention, but again, worth what we paid for it.

Kurzaufenthalt in Junior Suite im Block 1 war kein Erfolg Zimmer war gross und sauber, 2 Balkone, mehr Lärm von beiden Seiten aussen, als Nutzen. Mir wurde klar warum dieses Resort sehr divergierende Rezessionen bekommt. Die Zimmer sind ok, aber jeder Block anders. Das Essen vom Foodtruck ist nicht zu empfehlen, stark überhitztes Öl, meiner Freundin am Nachmittag war nach dem Hamburger den ganzen Abend schlecht.

This property is extremely beautiful. The views are breathtaking. The salt water pools are fabulous. Such a perfect location. It’s very beautiful. However the food is under mediocre. I could barely eat here. And the service is very poor. They didn’t even offer to help us with our bags to our room. When going to the buffet, you can’t even get a drink served to you. The 2 restaurants(Italian and Dominican) that you make reservations at were good. (Not amazing) but acceptable. The beds are not comfortable, and rooms are not 100% clean. Hair and stuff on floor and in bed sheets. I would come back to this property JUST FOR THE VIEW and POOLS. If they increased their service and got better food this would be a great place to visit and they would make more money.

The resort was great. The room the AC didn't cool the room down. The whole week the fire alarm in the hallway was beeping because the battery need to be replaced. I asked the first desk every day for 6 days and it never stopped beeping or the battery got changed out.

Dining was very bland and hard to get into reservations? Massage was NOT worth $70. The windows in the room had horrible curtains so they was always so much sunlight when trying to sleep. Rooms were hot, we moved the bed in front of the air conditioning. The bars closed at 11pm at an All-Adults resort? The pools closed earlier and staff put our stuff in Lost & Found when we were swimming during daylight ? Took three days to get it back because they just kept telling us they didn’t have it without looking? Horrible experience .

The check-in process was very slow. We arrived at 0930am and they would not allow us to check in early. After waiting until about 3:30pm, we finally got our room. When we entered, it was not the garden view room we paid for. We had to wait another 30 minutes to get a garden view room. Once we got in, the shower head was broken and there was no hot water, whatsoever. We asked several times and they said they would send someone to fix it, but it remained cold for the next few days. On day 3 they finally switched us to another room with hot water, but the toilet would not flush. Overall, the resort did not even have 1 jacuzzi, the food at the buffet tasted terrible, and the bars serve very cheap liquor. Also, if you’re flying into Santo Domingo International Airport, be prepared for a 1.5 hour drive to the resort with a very expensive taxi service fee. Uber does run in the area, but after reserving your Uber, the driver will message you and try to double the price set by Uber. Overall, not a country we would ever want to return to. You get the feeling that you are being taken advantage of every step of the way.

This was my 2nd time staying at this hotel and I truly love it. Its very quiet, great to have a relaxed vacation. If you are looking for some relaxation this is the place to stay. The hotel layout and design is beautiful, with nice sea front, pools and bar areas. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. There is good snorkelling in the sea, we really enjoyed this. On the other hand the food and drink are more average, the buffet quality being poor given the fantastic local fruit and vegetables available. The free drinks are also limited, with poor wine and over sweet cocktails (good local beer). The staff are helpful but not very friendly and the checking in experience is a bit chaotic. It was busy, a bit overcrowded when we were there - we only stayed 2 nights and could not get into the 2 free restaurants, but we did pay to eat in the Japanese restaurant which was very good.

La atención de su personal fue terrible. En su página dice que el check in es a las 3pm y la habitación nos la entregaron hasta las 4:30 pm. En recepción estaba un chico llamado Eugenio. Muy grosero tratandonos de tontos, y nos dijo que nos teníamos que esperar que porque aún no estába la habitación y nos cuestionaba si sabíamos que era el check in. Por otra parte , cuando les solicitabamos algo como toallas, bebidas se molestan que se suponía estaban dentro de todo incluido. La calidad de la comida no es buena. Y las sábanas de la habitación se ve que no las cambian. Salió una cucaracha en el baño. No lo recomiendo para nada. Inclusive en recepción igual estaban peleando con otras personas que llegaron.

The property was well kept. The staff were wonderful. There was a language barrier initially but I was able to find an app on my phone which helped with translation. It was nice and quiet with pharmacy on premises and close proximity to the beach along with five pools. My wife and I enjoyed our stay, can't wait to go back next year.

Minha estadia superou as expectativas. Cientes de que se tratava de um hotel de baixo custo, não esperávamos luxo, mas a relação custo-benefício foi excelente. O quarto em que ficamos tinha uma vista para o mar e a limpeza diária era suficiente. Embora o ar-condicionado fosse um pouco barulhento, a água quente do chuveiro era perfeita. Um ponto negativo foi o degrau perigoso no banheiro, que exigia atenção. A comida foi uma surpresa positiva. O buffet principal tinha grande variedade, com estações de omelete, massa e corte de carne, além de pães frescos . Há dois restaurantes à la carte para o jantar: o de comida italiana era muito bom, enquanto o dominicano deixou a desejar. Havia também food trucks que serviam hambúrgueres e petiscos. A comida era bem gordurosa, mas ótima para "quebrar o galho". Para o lazer, o hotel conta com quatro piscinas: três de água salgada com uma vista fantástica do pôr do sol e uma grande de água doce. Havia espreguiçadeiras disponíveis em todos os dias. O hotel não tem acesso direto à praia, mas oferece uma van gratuita a cada 30 minutos. À noite, por volta das 21h30, há apresentações variadas perto da piscina principal, que são uma agradáveis. O único ponto negativo foi o atendimento. A maioria dos funcionários foi ríspida e mal-humorada, fazendo apenas o mínimo necessário e impactando negativamente a experiência. Everything was good, food, staff helped to solve anything right away. The rooms were big and very clean, nice air conditioning, the bathroom was clean also. Plenty of space for your clothing. Easy access to town, walking distance. Security was very alert of the surroundings and it gave that feeling of safety around you. I would definitely go again and stay here on my next vacation.

This resort is a hidden gem. Diving into the sea is amazing, along with the snorkelling. We walked to huge beach once, an easy 15 minutes through a local town, but that is the only time we went to the beach. Didn’t miss it at all. The water was so warm to simply dive into. Infinity pools are amazing. Food was super. If you want a big resort with action and entertainment, don’t pick this one. If you want peace and quiet and to always have a hut with a little entertainment around supper and the beautiful Caribbean Sea to dive into and supposed you, then pick here. It is completely safe to walk off resort and eat locally, which we did for fun, even though we were all inclusive. This place is a dream.

We enjoyed that it was a smaller resort. The layout is great with the pools and eating areas right next to the ocean. The swimming area in the ocean is great; an easy in and out of the ocean.

Property was ok . Rooms however need updating. Very outdated. Property is very far from PuJ airport. Round trip is $220.Food is very bland but there was a variety to choose from .Staff is really nice only that difficult due to the language barrier. There is not much activities to do on property.Must say the pool area is beautiful. There is a lot of wasp around the food truck area. Wasn"t terrible terrible I wouldn't return because the location is not central to town. They have a shuttle that takes you to the beach between 9 to 5. Overall was really quiet and not that bad.

Food from the buffet was mediocre at best. Not that much variety. Either too salty (especially the meat), or too sweet (like the soups). Rice not properly cooked at times, some pieces still hard, even raw. Room cleaners did not give new towels everyday nor new amenities everyday like soap. The cover for the bed was extremely thin, even with low AC, so it was very cold at night. Only extremely hot water coming out from sink and shower, so very irritating to those with sunburns. Not very convenient to only have hot water when living in a hot country. Italian restaurant was okay, carbonara pasta was too salty. Alma restaurant was a disaster. Nice view by the ocean but there were flies everywhere. We were too busy killing them that some ended up dead in our food. We requested to change tables and pointed to the server the dead bugs in our food, but he took his bare hands to take the bugs out of our food instead of giving us a new plate of food. Very unsanitary. Entertaintment was very fun, especially the employees and the shows at night. The food at the food truck was good, and so was the fried chicken at the snack bar.

The resort, rooms and grounds were stunning and the staff was outstanding. The food, both buffet and restaurants were good, but not great. However, the onsite sushi restaurant was fabulous, but is an additional reasonable cost.

The pools and view are gorgeous and I loved having direct access to the ocean. There is no "beach" on the property, but you can hop on a ladder into the sea, which was perfect. I did not like that you could only borrow a snorkel from 8am - 12:30pm, so I just bought one. Also would have liked the hot tub to be hot - it was not. Overall, expect a beautiful property with some inconveniences. Our shower was *only* hot at 5pm everyday. The food was not good, and most of the food at the surrounding restaurants is also not good. The food is edible, it just isn't good. The "all-inclusive" price only includes well cocktails, some wine and presidente beer - everything else requires cash. The staff are lovely and responsive - just don't expect drink service or to be offered anything without asking first.

Very Nice Staff. Pool area is amazing. Very nice gym. The food and beverages are a bit skeptical. I didn’t understand that the top shelf alcohol wasn’t included in the all inclusive. I had a great time overall.

For one, our Junior Suite was located on the ground floor next to reception which meant we heard everything all night long. Not to mention the public restrooms outside of our hallway smelled like sewage which made our whole room smell like sewage during our stay. The buffet was lacking good food most days, and there restaurants were constantly booked even when we went to reserve right when concierge opened. There was a fire at a neighboring resort which meant we had to evacuate for hours with no direction or food or drink provided. The staff were incredible and we really enjoyed the vibe. But there was no music by any of the pools most of the day and that was disappointing.

We weren’t told about having to make reservations to eat at certain locations. We were advised about pool towels but then told we didn’t have the “proper” card to get any. Cigarette left all over in the sand area. Buffet food made me sick every time. Lady in the small gift shop was amazingly professional. Room and view were beautiful.

The only positive of this place is the view. The pools overlooking the ocean is spectacular. The food especially in the buffet is limited and terrible tasting plus no authentic Dominican dishes. The waiters do not serve drinks, you have to go up to the counter and get water, juice, and coffee to serve yourself. The staff is not very welcoming - they rather talk amongst themselves instead to the guest. Sliding glass doors do not close all the way causing mosquitoes to be in the rooms. The alcoholic drinks taste water down also. Overall an experience I was not expecting for my honeymoon. I do not recommend this resort at all. It’s a limited all inclusive.
