Over the top amazing. Dungeon-like hallways into the room, bath-tub on the patio with the river below... just an excellent spot to unwind. A lot of activities offered just on-site... live music, feeding ducks and etc.

Overall, this was a very nice hotel set in beautiful surroundings. The breakfast was lovely, and the lakeside restaurant was excellent. The reception area is stunning, and the pool is also very nice. The bedroom was spacious, but it felt a bit dated and could use some cosmetic updates—particularly given the hotel’s 5-star rating. Maybe some of the other rooms are more modern.

The resort is amazing. Its extensive grounds are beautiful. The villa we stayed in was lovely and comfortable. The staff were all wonderful. We did experience an ongoing issue with, at times, no hot water in the shower. The staff did their best to fix the issue. The only other downside was that despite the resort description stating you can walk places from the resort this is untrue. The road from the resort is very narrow, steep, winding and extremely busy. The resort does offer a free shuttle 3 times a day and taxis are easily available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Visesa

The hotel is beautiful! Breakfast was amazing! However, big disappointment regarding our suite. We had booked a jacuzzi suite and the jacuzzi wasn’t working. The reception sent someone to fix the different problems but it still didn’t work! Make sure to check if your jacuzzi is working properly as soon as you check in.

What we got instead was a front-row seat to a full-on renovation, complete with the soothing soundtrack of a tile saw screaming through concrete next door—starting within minutes of check-in. We headed straight back to the front desk, where a staff member came to the room and promised the work would stop during our stay. That promise lasted about five minutes before the saw fired right back up, as if on cue. Another trip to the front desk, another visit from a different staffer, and eventually we were offered a new room—so, progress? Until we tried the shower, which barely dripped. Yet another call to the front desk brought maintenance, who proudly demonstrated how they’d improved the flow to a gentle trickle. Ah yes, nothing says 5-star suite like playing “chase the water droplet” while shampooing. Oh, and the shower floor? Designed with a reverse slope, ensuring a permanent puddle unless someone comes by with a squeegee. Which they did, bless them—but let’s be honest: that’s not the kind of spa treatment I had in mind. The property is gorgeous, the staff are lovely, and breakfast is fine. But if you’re paying top dollar for a pool suite, you probably don’t want to spend your vacation dodging construction noise, calling the front desk on repeat, or praying for water pressure.

Great friendly staff, especially Yayu. Beautiful area inside and outside the resort. Cleanliness could be improved with regular cleaning. Unfortunately had a bat and geiko in the room and front desk staff didn’t care at all to make it right.

The staff is friendly. The environment is good. There are many flowers and rice field in this resort. The Villa is clean and well maintained. But it is not closed to downtown Ubud, we need to take a shuttle to there.

The property is beautiful, lush with greenery and water features everywhere, and is very well-maintained. I felt totally relaxed in this green heaven. The staff were polite and attentive. However, housekeeping was a bit slack. I had to remind them 3 consecutive days to make up the room and provide the basic necessities like water bottles, cups, glasses, hand-towels, etc. This was a bit off-putting. Other than this glitch, the overall experience was good.

The staff here are amazing and the setting is beautiful and tranquil. The rooms are spacious snd very clean. The only setback would be that it is a bit of a walk/drive to Ubud. You can catch a shuttle from the hotel or a Grab which is very inexpensive.

Property looks nice from outside and nice setup but poor maintenance. Smelly bathroom, everything breaks when you touch in the room, ants in the toilet. Overall, look and feel at the property is nice and different but they need to improve the quality of the rooms, especially the top end Villa's, where we stayed.

Honestly for the price, I felt that the property was a little overrated. Breakfast was really good, and service was as well. We weren’t a fan of the bathroom being outside, as we’d get bitten by mosquitos while doing anything. Furthermore, the hot water is limited by a hot water tank, and after that, there’s no more hot water, which is inconvenient. Lastly, because the bathroom is outside, you can hear your neighbors doing their business, and they can hear you. We had a case where our neighbor was blasting their music and we could hear it.

The resort is set in beautiful grounds, with the added bonus of a small on-site 'farm' and rice paddy - which is fascinating. Staff are friendly and helpful - however - both our check-in and check-out experience was not good - in fact was unprofessional and definitely compromised our stay. The pool villa we had was a bit dated, and there were a few issues with doors and taps, water pressure is inadequate for a supposedly 5* resort; - the wardrobe is way too small - not even enough for a single person. The shuttle service is welcome, but a bit restrictive - only 3 times a day and no evening visits after 5pm. Ubud traffic is horrendous - the resort is 3 km from Ubud but a taxi at 7pm would take 30 minutes. Outside the hotel there is a walkable shop and a few restaurants - but these are not as good as the hotel food and the roughly the same price. Both hotel restaurants are really good - but we were often the only ones in them. Overall a nice place to stay, but not good value and overpriced.

The hotel is very beautiful, the employees are very atentive and cordial. We tried the 2 restaurants and they have a lot of options and the food was very good. Our bedroom was nice but more for couples as the washroom is in an open concept.

Visesa is a beautiful place. The grounds are gorgeous, and there is a lot of grounds to explore. The food was excellent. The room was large and overall comfortable. I would have liked more light. Also, I am not a fan of having the bathroom open to the rest if the room. There are times when even married couples need a little privacy. Visesa us situated north of the pandemonium of Ubud, which is a blessing. But ine needs their own transportation. Visesa provides limited shuttle service

Very nice place and kind staff. But improvements are required in the condition of certain features. Bathrooms need more updated facilities (taps and showers are old, water pressure is remarkably inadequate for a supposedly 5* resort; the technical staff for repairs was not effective in dealing with various water leaks from taps or WCs; the bathrobe is too small, maybe ok for a kid regarding the size. The taps are short in length hence a bit uncomfortable when using the sink. Door locks are uncomfortable while opening. Breakfast: the choice for "sweet" food is insufficient and a bit poor in quality for western guests' expectations. TV without free international news channels or movies is unacceptable in a 5* resort. The hotel should have a Currency Exchange available for all guests.

The property is beautiful, lush with greenery and water features everywhere, and is very well-maintained. I felt totally relaxed in this green heaven. The staff were polite and attentive. However, housekeeping was a bit slack. I had to remind them 3 consecutive days to make up the room and provide the basic necessities like water bottles, cups, glasses, hand-towels, etc. This was a bit off-putting. Other than this glitch, the overall experience was good.

The staff here are amazing and the setting is beautiful and tranquil. The rooms are spacious snd very clean. The only setback would be that it is a bit of a walk/drive to Ubud. You can catch a shuttle from the hotel or a Grab which is very inexpensive.

I had a very pleasant stay at Visesa Ubud Resort. Absolutely fantastic resort and the staff can not do enough to help. We would highly recommend this location. Just outside of the main strip in Ubud so it’s quite and the hotel run a shuttle taxi to and from the town 3 times a day.

Fantastic resort and great accommodation. Staff were friendly and could not do enough. The only issue we had was the location. It’s listed as city centre but it is not. The map location is not correct. It’s around a 30 minute walk out of the centre. Due to a recent landslide, Taxis and the hotel shuttle have to take around a 20 minute diversion to get to and from town. The walk to town is not practical at night as the road is in darkness . Loved the hotel but had to use Taxi’s every night. These costed around a £5 a night from the market square to the Bridge where the landslide took place . The walk from the bridge is a further 400m but was better than the 25 minute diversion

The resort is amazing. Its extensive grounds are beautiful. The villa we stayed in was lovely and comfortable. The staff were all wonderful. We did experience an ongoing issue with, at times, no hot water in the shower. The staff did their best to fix the issue. The only other downside was that despite the resort description stating you can walk places from the resort this is untrue. The road from the resort is very narrow, steep, winding and extremely busy. The resort does offer a free shuttle 3 times a day and taxis are easily available. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend Visesa

The hotel is very beautiful, the employees are very atentive and cordial. We tried the 2 restaurants and they have a lot of options and the food was very good. Our bedroom was nice but more for couples as the washroom is in an open concept.

Visesa is a gorgeous, well-kept resort with very attentive staff. Our pool villa was stunning! The photos online do not convey how beautiful they are. We loved the food, especially their buffet breakfast - my husband and I really enjoyed sampling the Balinese & Indian options as well. Our kids were obsessed with the cultural entertainment provided at dinner and begged to eat at the resort every night. The resort is not within walking distance to the centre of Ubud, which we didn’t not mind at all as the free shuttle in & out makes it very easy. We will definitely be returning to Visesa
