Hyatt House Sacramento Airport - Natomas

FYI: Shuttles only run on the hour. They don’t tell you this, even when you call every 15 minutes, so stop calling. They were nice enough to try to make up for my 1.5 hour inconvenience by placing me in the Presidential Suite (unbeknownst to me), only to find it filthy. Thank goodness I only had to stay long enough to eat and sleep my 5 remaining hours in the hotel to catch the 5 am shuttle back to the airport, which, ironically, was right on time, left at exactly 5 and I almost missed it. STRESSFUL

Bar was nice and the food was great. Pool was dirty

The shuttle pickup process was terrible as the driver was 45 minutes late picking us up and made excuses that the Traffic was “Bad” but there was no traffic the time we called for pickup. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the Airport! Don’t use there shuttle service unless you want to be the next guy writing the same review!!

Room was big and so comfortable, everything we needed was provided. Shuttle service to and from airport was every 30 mins, right on time. Fantastic! Thank you Hyatt.

Parking was very full and small spaces. I don’t know if that’s normal but it made it difficult to park my rental car

Property, room and staff were great. Was very disappointed that our shuttle ride for 2:30 a.m. was cancelled. Thank god my dayghter decided to stay the night because she was to tired to drive home so she had to get up early to take us to the airport at 2:30. Otherwise we would have had to pay for a cab. We picked this hotel mainly for the 24/7 free shuttle service. It was very disappointing to not receive this free service.

Easy place to like if you are flying in and out of Sacramento. Very close to airport so it does not take very long to get there on shuttle. Room is spacious and well appointed. No airport noise. Bar and restaurant food is available which is important if you do not have a car. It is a ways from any restaurants.

Friendly check in and broader facilities are nice, including a spacious gym. Room itself had dirty towels, a dirty coffee maker, and the air conditioner had a loud drip of water that persisted 24/7 and made sleep difficult.

This airport has a shuttle option. I reached out via Expedia, contact this property to see if I can reserve it in advance. They never responded. So I tried again and then I called also. They responded, no just call us when you arrive and we will go and it will 30 minutes from then for pick up. No reservation necessary. So when I arrived I called, they didn't answer the phone. Then when they finally answered I was on hold for 22 minutes. By then I had called for a Lyft and paid for that. I asked if I can make sure I had a shuttle in the morning to take us back they said yes. The next morning I asked about the shuttle and they said " did, you reserve it" I said yes. It did arrive but my point is, they initially said no reservations necessary so if I didn't ask the night before to reserve the shuttle in the morning,I guess I would of had to Lyft again. Poor communication. Besides that , clean hotel- nice room. They offered breakfast but that started at 7a didn't try it because I left at 630am.

I hotel looked very clean and new. The staff were friendly. The area felt safe and quiet. There was plenty of parking. However the bed cover was stained with something brown and green. Housekeeping should have removed it was washed it. Instead it was covered up. I didn't notice until morning. Blood stained on bathroom floor too.

Absolutely terrible we stayed two different nights the first night. I called to make sure the shuttle would pick me up from the airport multiple times before I got to the airport. And then once I got there, they told me the shuttle was out of service. The second night I stayed I stayed in a master suite and the shower was full of someone else’s hair. Not only that in the silverware drawer was someone else’s chewed up gum. And it looked like they just put all the dirty dishes back in the cupboard.

We got there late and checked out early so we weren’t there long. It was comfortable and roomy. The freezer had what looked like blood mixed in with the freezer frost. And there was blood smeared in the fridge. It was weird. I feel like housekeeping should have cleaned that out before we checked in, but we weren’t there long, and didn’t have time to swap rooms or make a big deal of it. But…. Gross.

To be honest, the only positive that I have for this location is that the common areas are very clean. The room I was given (#356, multi bed suite w/ kitchenette same as booked) was literally under construction. It had not been vacuumed nor mopped, there was tape holding boards together, an entire countertop missing that had measurements written on it, the furniture had goodscratch marks like an animal had scratched all over it, stained carpet, temporary boards with loose screws, and dirty walls and appliances (I have pics). When I asked to move I was told they were booked for the night. I then asked if there could be a note placed that should there be any cancellations or check outs that we could be accommodated. She would not agree to placing a note and instead asked how many people were in our party and when I told her there were four, she accused me pretty much of manipulating my reservation and told me that there would be an extra charge of $25 per day for each additional person. For the record it was myself my husband and my 16 and 17-year-old children. Needless to say, the conversation went left and ultimately my husband and I agreed to deal with it in the morning as it had already placed a damper on our trip. Staff came in our room unannounced to supposedly get towels, but never cleaned the room, which made me feel very unsettled. FYI, this is a shortened version due to limited space. I do not recommend this location at all!!!

Needed a clean and safe hotel for one night after a very late flight arrival. This fit the bill. The breakfast wasn’t gourmet but there were many choices and the area was clean. The person tending the breakfast area was very helpful and went out of the way to help. We left full. The room was quiet. The bed was comfortable enough though a little softer than I generally prefer. A few spots of mold discoloration on the caulking in the shower and under the rim of the sink but this is an issue that I’ve found even at Ritz-Carlton’s, just general maintenance that is due. I would stay there again. I would not bring a friend who only wants five star luxury and haute cuisine brunch. I would bring a fun friend who views a clean and safe hotel room by the airport with an included breakfast that suffices to start your day as what it is - all that you need for the purpose so you can attend to whatever else you are doing in the area.

There was Bed bugs and some toilet paper in the bed. It looked like the sheets were never changed. I took pictures. I asked for another room and it was around the corner from the first room. It also had bedbugs. I left and said I’m not staying. I want my money back. I never stated the night. Totally unacceptable,

The hotel staff were very friendly! Parking was easy to find and it felt secure. Now the room itself was dirty. There was white crusties on the floor in a few different spots and the bathroom had pee on the wall and floor.

Our room had not been vacuumed and the coffee pot was dirty. Made me wonder about all aspects of cleanliness. Not enough towels as well. Expected more from a Hyatt…

The stay overall was fine, but I found it odd that my room had no mini fridge. I was traveling with a sizable amount of breast milk and had to make do by filling up the sink with ice to keep it cold.

Nice hotel but noisy from traffic and planes

Our room came with a working refrigerator & microwave. That’s huge, but the kitchen nook and comfortable size of the room, plus the cleanliness and free ride to the airport sold me. I will stay here whenever I’m in Sacramento

Really nice place and the room was large and quite comfortable. Easy off and on from I-5 and close to the airport. Nice staff. Breakfast, however, not that great, no comparison to Holiday Inn Express or Drury. Limited menu items, nice breakfast area, but layout and design of breakfast area not ergonomic. Heavy cast iron skillets hold warm breakfast items, have to lift heavy lid to open. Real plates, glassware, and utensils but not allowed to take anything to the room. In addition, something I have never seen in any of the other hotels we have stayed at, no refrigerator or microwave in the room!

Very nice room and very roomy

staff was great the noise from upstairs unit was a little excessive with a young child running around.

Speedy check-in customer service was excellent. dining options within the hotel and the breakfast was the best I’ve had complementary. Rooms were spacious and clean. Would stay here again.

I am a 60 yr old disabled woman with a service animal and from the moment I walked in I was treated poorly. I made my reservation for an Accessible suite with a bathtub, which I need for my disability. The front desk staff told me they couldn’t accommodate me because since I have a dog I have to be on the first floor and no bathtubs are available. Then they told me they had to see proof my Belgian Malinois is “registered”. I tried explaining ADA doesn’t require this and they have now violated my rights, even though I do have her registered with US Service Animals since 2021. They said they didn’t care I had to show it. I had just been traveling for 12 hours and now I’m fighting with the hotel staff to give me the suite I reserved. After they talked Punjabi amongst themselves they said they’d “do me a huge favor” and give me an accessible suite on the second floor BUT I had to make sure I didn’t “jump around” and cause noise for the floor below. What the F? I’m 60 and disabled. How am I going to jump around?!?! If I wasn’t so tired and in need of a soaking in the tub I would’ve walked out and reported them to the ADA. I will NEVER stay here again nor will I EVER recommend this hotel to anyone! The hotel itself was comfortable and clean but the two front desk staff were discriminatory towards me and my service animal. Horrible experience.

The check-in staff was so kind to my elderly parents. They helped check them in to print out their airline tickets and also to schedule the Uber for pickup in the am. They told them exactly when to be downstairs. It gave my Dad such peace of mind he slept really well.

Staff was friendly, check in staff was wonderful and helpful. Room was very comfortable and my room had been upgraded to a mini suite (very impressive!). I'd definitely stay here again

Mohamed (still training) checked us in. He was very friendly and so was his trainer. I didn’t get her name. Beds were comfy & place was clean.

I was unable to check in due to the fact that I did not have a physical credit card, however do have Apple Pay with a valid card #. I attempted to have a bystander assist me and I would have sent them the deposit thru Apple Pay however the front desk workers stated that would not be sufficient since my name was not on the card which makes zero sense. Because I wasn’t able to check in, I essentially paid for NOTHING. Horrible experience and I will not be utilizing the services again.

Simply put, there was no stay. The hotel said we had no reservation in our names and had to look for lodging elsewhere. Very frustrating as we always use Hotels.com for our business, and we use this particular hotel to stay at. They were not friendly about it or accommodating in any way!!!

It was perfect. From the shuttle driver picking us up at 12:30 in the morning. Taking us back safely to the hotel. And then another shuttle driver taking me over to get my rental car in the morning. The service was fantastic. The staff was fantastic. There was nothing even to remotely say anything negative about. Wonderful I will definitely use this hotel again.

Check in staff was awesome

The guest check in service sucked , the lady was rude and very disrespectful, they charged me $150 on my card for security deposit ( essential ) but never was notified of this or explained this and on their website it said they charge $50 not $150. The breakfast service sucked , the food was not rotated out or refreshed as needed , staffing was rude and disrespectful, they chased someone down and made the pay for it , I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know , I cancelled my second stay do to lack of service

Easy access to Interstate and close to airport. Newer facility, very clean and comfortable with friendly staff.

The hotel itself is modern and clean. The location is isolated, if you are without a vehicle there is no place within walking distance to get a meal or buy a beer.

This hotel is close to the airport, provides shuttle service to the airport at any time. While not at the airport, it is close enough for a 5 min ride. It is however in the flight path so you can hear outgoing flights. It is convenient to downtown Sacramento and freeway access is easy. Comfortable bed, room blackening shades Are available. The room felt like it was finished in a hurry as the shower door didn’t close completely and the shower head plumbing extruded from the wall of the shower. Good coffee!

The worst breakfast ever. Cold eggs, brown water labeled as “coffee”, bread from Costco. THAT WAS IT!!!

The service was wonderful. The only drawback was the breakfast. There was room for lots of selections but outside of cereal, the other options were limited.

Breakfast was hot and fresh and the buffet was very clean and tidy! Staff was extremely friendly!

Hotel and the room itself is amazing! Very clean, friendly staff and a nice setup with the bar and a few options for a small dinner! However, the breakfast that is included could use some improvement. The setup is so nice and has the potential for greatness, certainly not just eggs, potatoes, cereal and bread options. We were surprised at the no meat option, someone definitely needs to go back to the drawing board on the breakfast variety!

The food in the bar was excellent. The staff seemed a bit confused about my online check-in status and also about some credit card charges, but it eventually was resolved. Also, signs posted in the elevators invite you to free breakfast. Ends up that Sunday breakfast is $11 per person - only weekdays are free. Seems a bit misleading.

Very easy to access airport transportation. The breakfast was great! The room was very clean.

Beds were comfortable. Breakfast had good options. Great access to freeway.
