Solaz is amazing. The rooms are beautiful and enormous with great view of the ocean. The staff is superb across-the-board. And the facility is beautiful, with incredible native landscaping, gorgeous pools and restaurants. My only complaint was the gym, which has fantastic equipment and lots of space, but the air conditioning was broken, and I heard from another guest that it was the same last time that they were visiting. At 85° and humid it was unusable

Everyone was friendly and I felt safe. The property had a team of ambassadors who was great and hospitable. The spa was amazing and everything was clean. The staff was consistently friendly and professional. My housekeeper was Jacqueline and she was very friendly and conversed with me. One day I came to find my room decorated in recognition for my birthday which was a delightful surprise. Andrea at the pool was wonderful, as well, and the staff at Mako were particularly exceptional, with many of them taking care to remember your name and what you order if you had been there before. One of the things to note is they require reservations for dinner at the restaurants. If they aren’t busy, this might not be a big deal except for the sushi restaurant, which seems to be excluded from everything. It would be nice if one of the pools might be adults only but can see why that might be a challenge to enforce. The only other thing I was not prepared for is this place sells vacations or timeshare-like packages and I was not advised of this beforehand, so I was disappointed to be caught off guard about the “invitation” that also turned into what I was told would be a 75-minute no obligation tour to a nearly daylong aggressive sales strategy. The property has a lot of indulgences that undoubtedly will sell itself and I do plan to return. For guests who stay on the residences side instead of the hotel, it would be nice to know (1) there is a distinction and (2) that there will be a pitch.

Upon entering the property, the exterior is not very impressive from the busy road. It’s almost prison like in architecture so was a little nervous but the minute you walk in it’s very beautiful. It. has a more modern aesthetic and serene ,desert like landscape. We stayed in a two bedroom ,three bath villa overlooking the ocean, which was beautiful. Beds comfortable and didn’t hear much noise from the busy street. The pools, the restaurants, the staff were excellent. I think we ate every day at the poolside restaurant and never got sick of it and the staff was especially attentive, even during busy spring break. You had to get up early to get a pool chair, but they let you save it as long as you put your things on it, which was a nice touch. My only complaint honestly was that they give you very little coffee in the room and a little stingy about replenishing it which is not that big of a deal but a little annoying when you’re paying so much money for a room. Really can’t say enough nice things about this place and was a pleasant surprise.

It is an amazing resort. We went there because it advertised tennis. When we checked in, the conceirge that we met with offered to set up a pro etc. We stated we only needed a court. Unfortunately the people workign there as well as the websites both hotel.com and Solaz did not let us know or post that tennis was unavailable. I was particularly annoyed as they did nothing other than say "sorry".

We received a VIP upgrade (subject to availability), and our suite was absolutely amazing — spacious, spotless, with a breathtaking ocean view, and even complimentary evening housekeeping. The staff made our experience even more special. Paul helped us with our luggage and valet parking and gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants. At the pool, Alfonso and his colleague took such good care of my daughters and me, making us feel truly welcomed. The dining experience was also a highlight. The food at Mako, the Italian restaurant, and the poolside restaurant was outstanding. We especially loved the ceviche and the barbacoa tacos — both were unforgettable! The sea was another highlight: clean, calm, and safe for swimming, with Alejandro Pineda guiding us to make the most of the experience. Thank you, Solaz Club, for such a memorable trip. Beautiful hotel with views and architecture. Rooms are spacious and very clean but we had a water leak in our first room and the washing machine didn’t work in the room we were moved to. Be aware this is part of a time share and they try to get you to take a tour/join. They do offer a decent discount if you take the tour. The child care center was wonderful and full of fun activities! The staff was very helpful overall.

Sign up for a transportation and they offer a discount based on premise that you will attend a presentation about the premise. However they will purposely be vague when asked about this presentation. When you actually attend the “presentation” it turns out to be a 2 hour sales pitch trying to get you to invest into the property. Despite me telling them I didn’t come on vacation to invest in the property, I came to spend time with my family, they kept pushing to sell the property which was quite irritating and aggravating. After meeting with THREE different sales people that tried to get me to invest in their property, they finally let me go. They even expressed that they put this hotel on Expedia for the purpose of finding people to sell their property to. Other than that, the staff were nice and great. If you have benefits or rewards, you’re going to really have to push for it because they will seem reluctant to give it to you. The pool was amazing The food was alright, I would leave the resort for better options. The property seems a little dated. With water stains on the wall and rust in the cracks.

Every single staff member was friendly and helpful, even those I encountered in a hall or on an elevator. They were so welcoming and warm, I told my spouse about it when I got home! RETURNING 100%! I have used Expedia for countless trips, this is the first VIP Acess resort that actually provided me with a room upgrade, and for that reason, I am grateful and they have my family’s loyalty! Family trip at the Club at Solaz did not disappoint, we reserved a 2Bedroom room/villa and we received a 3bedroom 4 full baths room/villa! I cannot rave about it enough, the “kids” did not want to leave and neither did the parents. Our boys are 18/18/ and 21 years old and they loved the property as well. Lots of delicious restaurants and bars. We frequented the Mako restaurant because the aqua chile was phenomenal, along with their spicy shrimp tacos and the el Crunchy tacos. Our other notable meal was at Al Pairo where the food was delicious. The grounds for the hotel and stunning and the staff provided excellent service. Truly a wonderful vacation spot. Thank you Solaz for the wonderful stay.

Upon entering the property, the exterior is not very impressive from the busy road. It’s almost prison like in architecture so was a little nervous but the minute you walk in it’s very beautiful. It. has a more modern aesthetic and serene ,desert like landscape. We stayed in a two bedroom ,three bath villa overlooking the ocean, which was beautiful. Beds comfortable and didn’t hear much noise from the busy street. The pools, the restaurants, the staff were excellent. I think we ate every day at the poolside restaurant and never got sick of it and the staff was especially attentive, even during busy spring break. You had to get up early to get a pool chair, but they let you save it as long as you put your things on it, which was a nice touch. My only complaint honestly was that they give you very little coffee in the room and a little stingy about replenishing it which is not that big of a deal but a little annoying when you’re paying so much money for a room. Really can’t say enough nice things about this place and was a pleasant surprise.

I hated everything about my stay here. From check-in where I was told the HEAVILY advertised “swimmable beach “ was not in fact recommended for swimming, to the awful villa we were assigned. I made these plans months in advance and still waited hours to be assigned a terrible room. When I asked for a room with an actual ocean view (as booked) we waited hours for a tower room. We arrived around 1pm, ate $140 snacks (cups, guacamole, quesadilla and drinks) and it was dark by the time we entered our EXTREMELY noisy room. The “manager” “showed” us our room by pushing the elevator button and left us wandering through dark hallways to find our room. The numbers has come off the door so that was a challenge. We entered what felt like a room in the middle of a freeway, the noise was so deafening. The room was okay. They insisted on correcting us every time we said “room” with “villa”. Okay but it’s in a tower and no different from any two-room suite. It feels closed off the way the living and sleeping spaces are decided by a long wall. It was dark so we couldn’t see our view until the next morning. It was good but ruined by the highway noise. The floors were dirty and I kept cleaning spots of something caked on as if they just ran a dry mop over them but didn’t actually scrub. The hard pressure at check-in to attend a timeshare presentation was endless. We said no at least five times and Rocío did not let up. We had to ask for everything at least twice. I could go on. Don’t stay here

We have stayed in luxury resorts across the world and this was our 5th time in Cabo but our first experience at The Solaz. The Solaz is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, anywhere! The resort is so beautiful, the attention to detail impressive. The 4 sit-down restaurants each provided an incredible dining experience. Sakagura, the Japanese/sushi restaurant, provided some of the best sushi we've eaten anywhere, including Japan. Mako was unparalleled in terms of ambiance (ocean front) and food quality. Our room was a 2bd suite and it was enormous. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, some going out of their way to get to know us. The resort isn't cheap, but you really do get what you pay for as the Solaz truly delivered an unparalleled experience for this seasoned travel family.

Es un hotel de lujo con precios muy elevados y le imponen al cliente el 15% de propina, el cual yo hubiera dejado sin imposición o incluso más si hubiera tenido buen servicio, pero nada más lejos de esto. Everyone was friendly and I felt safe. The property had a team of ambassadors who was great and hospitable. The spa was amazing and everything was clean. The staff was consistently friendly and professional. My housekeeper was Jacqueline and she was very friendly and conversed with me. One day I came to find my room decorated in recognition for my birthday which was a delightful surprise. Andrea at the pool was wonderful, as well, and the staff at Mako were particularly exceptional, with many of them taking care to remember your name and what you order if you had been there before. One of the things to note is they require reservations for dinner at the restaurants. If they aren’t busy, this might not be a big deal except for the sushi restaurant, which seems to be excluded from everything. It would be nice if one of the pools might be adults only but can see why that might be a challenge to enforce. The only other thing I was not prepared for is this place sells vacations or timeshare-like packages and I was not advised of this beforehand, so I was disappointed to be caught off guard about the “invitation” that also turned into what I was told would be a 75-minute no obligation tour to a nearly daylong aggressive sales strategy. The property has a lot of indulgences that undoubtedly will sell itself and I do plan to return. For guests who stay on the residences side instead of the hotel, it would be nice to know (1) there is a distinction and (2) that there will be a pitch.

The property was beautiful. Very eco friendly and the staff was top notch. When using the VIP amenities make sure you get clear information on how to use them. Also make sure at check out you verify that all credits have been applied appropriately on the bill .

Sign up for a transportation and they offer a discount based on premise that you will attend a presentation about the premise. However they will purposely be vague when asked about this presentation. When you actually attend the “presentation” it turns out to be a 2 hour sales pitch trying to get you to invest into the property. Despite me telling them I didn’t come on vacation to invest in the property, I came to spend time with my family, they kept pushing to sell the property which was quite irritating and aggravating. After meeting with THREE different sales people that tried to get me to invest in their property, they finally let me go. They even expressed that they put this hotel on Expedia for the purpose of finding people to sell their property to. Other than that, the staff were nice and great. If you have benefits or rewards, you’re going to really have to push for it because they will seem reluctant to give it to you. The pool was amazing The food was alright, I would leave the resort for better options. The property seems a little dated. With water stains on the wall and rust in the cracks.

We had a fabulous 4 night stay at The Club at Solaz. Our room was incredible, the service was perfect, food was great, and property was stunning. A great place for a family vacation with our two teenagers. Highly recommend. Great location. Great time. Great place to kick back and relax.

We had a wonderful stay at Solaz Club in Cabo! We received a VIP upgrade (subject to availability), and our suite was absolutely amazing — spacious, spotless, with a breathtaking ocean view, and even complimentary evening housekeeping. The staff made our experience even more special. Paul helped us with our luggage and valet parking and gave us fantastic recommendations for local restaurants. At the pool, Alfonso and his colleague took such good care of my daughters and me, making us feel truly welcomed. The dining experience was also a highlight. The food at Mako, the Italian restaurant, and the poolside restaurant was outstanding. We especially loved the ceviche and the barbacoa tacos — both were unforgettable! The sea was another highlight: clean, calm, and safe for swimming, with Alejandro Pineda guiding us to make the most of the experience. Thank you, Solaz Club, for such a memorable trip. We can’t wait to return!

El hotel espectacular, bellísimo tanto en arquitectura como en diseño de paisajismo muy cuidado… las áreas comunes en alberca y playa super bien . Uno de los hoteles más bellos en los que me he hospedado. Pero el tema de los restaurantes no son caros…. Son ABSURDAMENTE CAROS… en ningún lado de los cabos están tan absurdamente elevados los precios , obviamente muy vacíos … eso deja Mucho que desear si no tienes auto rentado.

RETURNING 100%! I have used Expedia for countless trips, this is the first VIP Acess resort that actually provided me with a room upgrade, and for that reason, I am grateful and they have my family’s loyalty! Family trip at the Club at Solaz did not disappoint, we reserved a 2Bedroom room/villa and we received a 3bedroom 4 full baths room/villa! I cannot rave about it enough, the “kids” did not want to leave and neither did the parents. Our boys are 18/18/ and 21 years old and they loved the property as well. Lots of delicious restaurants and bars. We frequented the Mako restaurant because the aqua chile was phenomenal, along with their spicy shrimp tacos and the el Crunchy tacos. Our other notable meal was at Al Pairo where the food was delicious. The grounds for the hotel and stunning and the staff provided excellent service. Truly a wonderful vacation spot. Thank you Solaz for the wonderful stay.

We have stayed in luxury resorts across the world and this was our 5th time in Cabo but our first experience at The Solaz. The Solaz is one of the nicest places we've ever stayed, anywhere! The resort is so beautiful, the attention to detail impressive. The 4 sit-down restaurants each provided an incredible dining experience. Sakagura, the Japanese/sushi restaurant, provided some of the best sushi we've eaten anywhere, including Japan. Mako was unparalleled in terms of ambiance (ocean front) and food quality. Our room was a 2bd suite and it was enormous. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, some going out of their way to get to know us. The resort isn't cheap, but you really do get what you pay for as the Solaz truly delivered an unparalleled experience for this seasoned travel family.

overall is okay, but if you think you are staying at luxury 5 starts hotel, then there are lots of things this hotel is not match the level of service for clients. if you book a activity with them make sure double check with them multiple times. coz you might get surprise next morning and ruin your whole day plan. and if you order food from pool side, don't be surprise you need to wait for a quit long time. and when the server order wrong food, it's also will add on your bill. and last, every bill they have already add service charge for you, won't tell you about it. so you can pay more tips :) about the room, they provide us tea bags but no hot water boil machine to make tea loll. Hair dryer just only has cold option. the last thing is they are trying vary hard to sell timeshare plan, very wast of time. main level, Mexican food restaurant's servers are very nice and very warm heart. recommend to have a dinner for once and enjoy their special chocolate.

Excellent stay at Solaz! We will definitely come back again. Only stressful moments were being ask upon arrival to attend property tour and time share sales event. When we attended it became very obvious we would be ask to sign a contract.

We spent a week at Club at Solaz in a two-bedroom ocean front suite. Our suite was very specious and beautifully decorated with high quality finishes. It also had three full size bathrooms, in-unit washer and dryer, full kitchen and a very large terrace with a dining table, sitting area and even a hammock. The view from the suite was spectacular. The facility is very modern and exceptionally maintained. Good dining options, room service and an on-site deli store. Besides our amazing suite, four infinity pools were our favorite spots of the resort, they are so well designed and situated, so you feel like you are swimming in the ocean but at the same time in crystal clean cool temperature water with unbelievable views and sound of strong tides. Pool- and beach-side bars and restaurants were all great. The entire property is incredible. I want to specifically call out the cleanliness of the resort, you barely see the staff cleaning, they do it so discretely, however every time you use a public bathroom it is spotless, like nobody used it before you, no matter what time of the day it is. I also want to mention the beach with soft white sand and absolutely no seaweed. We were not able to swim in the ocean due to very strong tides, however a few guys did while we were staying there. I would give this facility five starts out of five. It is very-very nice!
