Hotel and rooms are fine, but several things were not working and getting them fixed wasn’t always easy. 1) the phone in my room never worked so you couldn’t call the operator, order room service or get help with anything. If you needed anything, you had to go down 11 stories each time to talk to the staff 2) one morning, during peak hours, the elevators all stopped working. The hotel didn’t even notice that was the case and people were just piling on all the floors. Ultimately after a lot of waiting had to walk down 11 floors 3) the bath tub wouldn’t drain properly so it would get flooded until I had to have them fix it In their defence they offered to change my room but when you are in town for a conference and are working 12 hours a day, you don’t want to unpack and repack and unpack all over again. A working phone and tub are basic things that should be checked before giving someone a room

Das Hotel liegt an einer 6-spurigen Straße, leider sind die Fenster nicht sehr schallisoliert so dass der Straßenlärm hörbar ist, zudem lieben die Autofahrer dort ihre Hupe. Die Piano-Musik aus dem Café im 1. Stock läuft 24/7, leider wird die Lautstärke nachts nicht runtergedreht so dass man auch nachts in seinem Zimmer im 3. Stock das Vergnügen hat. Auch als wir das an der Rezeption angemerkt haben, hat sich nichts getan. Wir können nicht beurteilen ob Zimmer in höheren Stockwerken und an der Straße abgekehrten Seite ruhiger sind. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Es gab jeden Tag 2 Wasserflaschen. Die Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt obwohl wir diese nicht auf den Boden gelegt haben (es steht ein Schild im Badezimmer zum Thema "Umweltschutz und Waschen"). Der Pool auf dem Dach ist super, es waren immer ausreichend Liegen frei. Der Fitnessraum ist mit allen wichtigen Geräten ausgestattet allerdings machen diese nicht den allerbesten Eindruck, hier hat schon etwas der Zahn der Zeit dran genagt. Das im Hotel gelegene Restaurant Spaccanapoli ist sehr gut, sowohl die Pizza als auch die Pasta. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig und lecker, es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Hotel ist gut mit dem Bus vom Flughafen zu erreichen, vor dem Hotel halten diverse Buslinien z. B. nach Yas Island.

The hotel was ok in terms of room condition (although old) and it’s in a good location, but the bathroom smell was terrible the whole stay. Also, they had issues with parking, there is no designated spots for the hotel and the valet takes too long, they even parked my car in a spot for handicapped and I could’ve been fined for it! They are working on renovating the second floor so it might be better in the future.

Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral in Abu Dhabi, sehr schöner Dachpool mit (alkoholfreier) Bar. Auch der Fitnessraum war sehr grosszügig ausgestattet. Die Zimmer eher etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück/Abendessen sensationell! Tolle Rockbar (mit Alkoholausschank) im Keller, absolut empfehlenswert! Freie Parkmöglichkeiten. Die Mitarbeiter waren durchs Band sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend, TOP!

The staff were very friendly and helpful. We arrived early due to our connecting flight and we got to AD quite early and the staff managed to organise us a room around 10am while the checkin time was 3pm. For this i am very grateful as travelling with children for over 32hours is not great. The room was spacious with a king bed and a sofa bed. The sofa bed had issues opening so they provided us with an extra temporary bed. The bathroom although being adequately sized had a bad damp odour. This seemed to stem from the shower curtains and not adequate ventilation via the exhaust fan. Mould and grime were filled in the grout in between the tiles. We enjoyed the half board option and the buffet was OK. The room could use a bit of renovation. Also the safe was not secured and was of no use.

Our room had strong mold smell and there were some patches on the ceiling that needed some repairs. I didn’t like the location of it as it was right by traffic-lots if small shops and restaurants. But the staff was amazing. Mustafa-Abin and Suleman were very nice and accommodating.

Property was OK. Beds were comfortable enough. However, it definitely had a slight musty /moldy odour. The bathroom needs a really decent clean and advertising a kitchenette with literally no kitchen equipment is ridiculous. We had to call reception for every single item we needed. Multiple times until they were delivered. We gave up asking for drinking glasses after calling 3 times and still not receiving them. It just felt like the hotel provided the absolute bare minimum in each room. The breakfast in the morning was lovely though, and the spa treatments at the hotel was fabulous.

Hotel was comfortable enough. Location was ok although right next to a local mosque so 5:30am wake up call but regionally to be expected. Laundry service was very annoying as clothes not delivered to room and had to call to get at 10pm and then staff turned up half later demanding payment rather than adding to my bill. I had already told them I needed to go to sleep.. so message to hotel is make the procedure clearer

Ancient hotel. Looks old and worn out. Some features inside the room don't work. While not using AC even once in three days, and still I felt cold. The closet consists of one shelf only, not enough even for a single person. Small window, so not only is it cold in the room, but also dark. The only plus is the spacious bathroom.

The staff not friendly and I had to wait long for check in even though not much people checking in and for check out also not answering telephone I had to come down to inform them that we are checking out and they should send someone to bring the bags down

Check-in très tôt le matin 👍 mais chambre pas entièrement préparée (manque de produits d’hygiène, de peignoir …) Chambre communicante bruyante, comme si on était avec les voisins, on entend tout. Personnel de ménage très intrusif, à ouvert ma porte à deux reprises sans toquer sans rien, dans la même matinée et a même osé me demander quand est-ce que je partais 🙂. Piscine sur le toit et conciergerie bien sympathiques.

We booked this hotel over a month ago. When we arrived at the property they told us they are overbooked. We could not believe that they would give our room to someone else. Totally 3 rooms. At 11:30 pm we are being told that there are no rooms available for us as they had given out our rooms to others. We then got moved to another hotel which was nowhere near a 5 star. Whilst we were there another group was also told that their rooms were given to someone else as they had overbooked. Avoid this hotel. The receptionist took forever to sort out issue out.

“It was a terrible experience. The hotel was not clean, and the staff lacked even the basics of customer service. We requested some items, and at 6 a.m. a staff member opened our door without permission to deliver them. When we escalated this issue to the manager, we were shocked by his response—he said staff are allowed to enter without permission if they want to deliver items quickly. I had also paid for breakfast, but we never received it due to the poor service. Overall, I do not recommend this hotel.”

Housekeeping request are unforgettable. Hours in delivering a simple request, even claiming. The room is made after 17:00, besides the request to do it before 16:00. So, I came back from business meetings to take a shower and rest and not possible. Have to call reception asking the basics: to clean the room.

Hotel was comfortable enough. Location was ok although right next to a local mosque so 5:30am wake up call but regionally to be expected. Laundry service was very annoying as clothes not delivered to room and had to call to get at 10pm and then staff turned up half later demanding payment rather than adding to my bill. I had already told them I needed to go to sleep.. so message to hotel is make the procedure clearer

The hotel offers very good value for money. its not the best located in the older part of town but perfectly safe and plenty of cheap taxis to ferry you around. I stayed in a spacious room which was clean, good beds/sheets and bathroom. The room shows signs of wear i.e. sockets and general decor. The pool and gym were good. I only eat breakfast which again was good value.

Das Hotel liegt an einer 6-spurigen Straße, leider sind die Fenster nicht sehr schallisoliert so dass der Straßenlärm hörbar ist, zudem lieben die Autofahrer dort ihre Hupe. Die Piano-Musik aus dem Café im 1. Stock läuft 24/7, leider wird die Lautstärke nachts nicht runtergedreht so dass man auch nachts in seinem Zimmer im 3. Stock das Vergnügen hat. Auch als wir das an der Rezeption angemerkt haben, hat sich nichts getan. Wir können nicht beurteilen ob Zimmer in höheren Stockwerken und an der Straße abgekehrten Seite ruhiger sind. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und sauber. Es gab jeden Tag 2 Wasserflaschen. Die Handtücher wurden jeden Tag gewechselt obwohl wir diese nicht auf den Boden gelegt haben (es steht ein Schild im Badezimmer zum Thema "Umweltschutz und Waschen"). Der Pool auf dem Dach ist super, es waren immer ausreichend Liegen frei. Der Fitnessraum ist mit allen wichtigen Geräten ausgestattet allerdings machen diese nicht den allerbesten Eindruck, hier hat schon etwas der Zahn der Zeit dran genagt. Das im Hotel gelegene Restaurant Spaccanapoli ist sehr gut, sowohl die Pizza als auch die Pasta. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist vielfältig und lecker, es ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Das Hotel ist gut mit dem Bus vom Flughafen zu erreichen, vor dem Hotel halten diverse Buslinien z. B. nach Yas Island.

Really good hotel if you want to stay in a clean, convenient and easy to navigate from. Felt more like a solid 3 or 3.5 at best when compared to the hotels in the US. However, I would stay at it again and again just for being located in the heart of the “original” Abu Dhabi.

The best thing about this hotel is that they keep it clean and it is silent. When we entered the room, there was a burning smell of a strong disinfection spray… at least it was clean. That is where the good things ended for us. The interior was very old, and the floor was full of cracks. Never saw something like that before. Dinner plans? Don’t go to this buffet. What a disappointment. They only have like 5 options and the quality is nothing to write home about. Pasta bolognaise was the highlight… even though some pasta had already dried up…. A second plate was not an option since the tray was already empty and did not get a refill for as long as we stayed (about 20 minutes). The pool is fine and the bar in the basement is okay. Absolutely not a 5 star hotel as they advertise.

Excellent 'Club' room on 17th floor. Effective AC that did not require adjustment. Very helpful staff. Heroes sports bar downstairs' in basement did reasonably priced food. Spaccanapoli Italian restaurant was really good food. but no alcohol. Rooftop pool but no real views from here. The best thing was the very helpful staff. Top marks!

From the moment I stepped up to check in Muhammad Nadeem, behind the desk greeted me with a huge smile and welcome. After 20 hours flying it was so welcome and this continued my entire five days. I love this hotel and staff. Centrally located within the city, good breakfast which was included in my room. Great hotel and staff
