Tents are roomy and are setup well! During the Summer months it is quite hot and you wouldn't want to spend to much time in the tent until about 8pm when it cools off. River access is convientent and they even have outdoor showers to rinse off. Bathroom/shower facilities are clean and welcoming. I would visit again in late spring or fall as it would be more enjoyable with weather. Im used to normal camping but this was a nice change. One suggestion would to have an ice-machine available, as for the price you pay per tent it would be nice not to have to pay for it at the store or go in to town to buy it. I think their one large ice machine away from perfection. Lastly there is some road noise, more noticeable during the week. A Friday through Sunday stay would be ideal in my opinion with all things considered.

The facilities provided are fine and clean, but tents are very close together. Our neighbors were loud until we asked them to stop at almost midnight and others down the way were loud too. The site is so near a busy road that traffic noise is close and constant. They advertise listening to nature but that is impossible. They furnish ear plugs!! The advertised private beach does not exist. There are stairs down a hill to river’s edge. However the staff are nice.

Tent is equipped with electric plugs and heater as well as very comfortable bed. Cleanines and noise level are acceptable. Parking is just assigned to be behind the tent - very nice! Bathroom and shower are shared and a short walk from the tent assigned to us, which is a brief walk. Can get cold during night time so plan your shower accordingly. Plenty of hot water and shampoo.etv :) shower and bathroom are very clean - nice! Lastly, the folks there are really nice. It’s our first time here but won’t be our last time. Only suggestion is the “water down” complimentary coffee was a bit disappointing for us. Hope the coffee can improve if economically feasible

Clean bathrooms with great handwashing station, complete with cute plants and flowers! Rooms/Tents are excellent with heater, heated bed and mirror! Fabulous and helpful staff! The Russian river is steps away from camp site! Easy check in! Fabulous coffee station and deck to enjoy! Highly recommend!

This is our first time here. The tents and facilities are nice but the place is smaller than i expected with the tents close together and the beach area is quite small. There was also a lot of noise at night from cars driving on the adjacent road. That said, the staff were great and we enjoyed our stay.

The property itself was nice and not to far of a walk from my cabin to the private river access. I rented the cabin, due to the reviews I read about the noise and I was hoping it was more sound proof. Even in the cabin I still heard noise and apparently it's harvest season so it was noisy all throughout the night. If you want a quiet get away this is not the place for you. They supply earplugs for that reason. The heated mattress was a plus but unfortunately the mattress was too hard for me. I wasn't able to get any good rest for the one night I stayed. The staff were all very friendly, cute convenience store with limited items for sale, free coffee/tea station was a plus, the bathrooms, showers and public areas were clean. There was some dirt/leaves that were on the floors, a big spider and spider webs in my cabin. The bedding/linens were clean. Considering the price, I may not be back.

This was a really fun little 2 night getaway. The facilities were well kept and the property was beautiful! The tents are REALLY close together so that made for more noise then we would have liked. The sounds of the cars on the road were pretty loud but they do provide earplugs so I highly recommend using them. Also the "riverside" tent has a higher price tag and you can even see the river from your site. The only plus to it is that there's no one staying in front of you. This is a nice property and a fun family getaway and I wish the other guests would be more respectful of others when considering bringing a yappy dog or realizing at 7am no one wants to hear your music blaring. The first night stay was tough because of inconsiderate guests but the 2nd night was peaceful and lovely. I would come back here and stay on week nights when it seems alot quieter. Overall, sweet property, clean common areas and nice place!

Our stay at Wildhaven may be short, but our impression on how clean, organized & how polite the staff are at this glamping site, gave us an experience that made us like the place and would recommend it to others. We love the complimentary tea & hot chocolate station, although the instant coffee ran out fast. The showers are clean, has warm water & towels provided. The rates though are a little steep, much like a 3-star hotel rate. And $30/pet. Sinks are a little clogged. Otherwise, our stay was pleasant, a nice short walk to the river and good place for a little quiet time listening to nature.

This place was amazing. It was my first time glamping, and I was impressed by how clean and well-maintained the bathrooms were. Our tent was perfect, equipped with a fan and heated blankets. The surrounding nature was breathtaking, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.

This was our third year coming back to this glamping site. We brought friend this time! Our friend and my family enjoyed the site very much and the easy access to river. Yes, at night, you can hear the vehicle passed by, ear plug is much needed. But the Queen bed is so soft and clean. Make my sleep at night restful. The morning bird chirping, Owl howling at 6 am, its just a part of the whole experience. The water was pretty high on this visit, so not many shallow area to hang out with, but we'll take advantage of the river's current with our floatie. We will definitely come back again next year! 😊

I’ve stayed at Wildhaven Yosemite. I believe that property is newer compared to this one in Sonoma. While it’s still comfortable and the fact that it’s only 5 miles away from Healdsburg Plaza is a plus, I like that the one in Yosemite has a lock and key so u can leave ur valuables inside the tent & also feel more secure at night. I did have a padlock that I keep with my luggage so I kinda improvised and used that to put the zippers together. I don’t believe I’m in danger in any way but as a solo female traveler it feels more secure to know that you’re locked in inside while sleeping. Overall a great experience.

The road noise at this facility was so high that we could barely sleep. Ear plugs are provided bedside but who wants to sleep with those in? Additionally, walking down the street to the bathroom in the middle of the night was a cold experience that made me wide awake. There is no beach. Yes, there is a walk down to the fast moving river but no where to sit comfortably unless you swim across the cold water to the other side. Not what I was expecting! The road noise at this facility was so high that we could barely sleep. Ear plugs are provided bedside but who wants to sleep with those in? Additionally, walking down the street to the bathroom in the middle of the night was a cold experience that made me wide awake. There is no beach. Yes, there is a walk down to the fast moving river but no where to sit comfortably unless you swim across the cold water to the other side. Not what I was expecting! We loved how comfortable the tents were. The beds were also very comfy and also provided bed heaters to warm the mattress as it does get chilly at night. The convenient store on site has everything you need for snacks, wine, and wood kit to get your fire going. Downtown Healdsburg is only 10 minutes away with plenty of tasting rooms, and restaurants. Would absolutely come back to stay

This was a really fun little 2 night getaway. The facilities were well kept and the property was beautiful! The tents are REALLY close together so that made for more noise then we would have liked. The sounds of the cars on the road were pretty loud but they do provide earplugs so I highly recommend using them. Also the "riverside" tent has a higher price tag and you can even see the river from your site. The only plus to it is that there's no one staying in front of you. This is a nice property and a fun family getaway and I wish the other guests would be more respectful of others when considering bringing a yappy dog or realizing at 7am no one wants to hear your music blaring. The first night stay was tough because of inconsiderate guests but the 2nd night was peaceful and lovely. I would come back here and stay on week nights when it seems alot quieter. Overall, sweet property, clean common areas and nice place!

It was very comfortable and clean. They had someone there to help answer any questions about the area. They had discounts at local businesses. There was a free coffee and hot cocoa bar set-up daily. They even kept the paths at the river clean and marked for easy access.

Lovely place and great accommodations but noisy. They responded to noise complaint but it appears staff do not patrol the camp during quiet hours to ensure quiet. I happened to be next to two parties that were did not respect the quiet hours policy. Quiet is integral part of being outdoors in a camping area in my opinion.

Everyone we met was super friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a camping experience with a few creature comforts, you can't go wrong! Close to tons of tasty restaurants and wine tasting options, this was a very enjoyable vacation. We were also visiting during the off season, so basically had the place to ourselves for 3 nights!

This is our first time here. The tents and facilities are nice but the place is smaller than i expected with the tents close together and the beach area is quite small. There was also a lot of noise at night from cars driving on the adjacent road. That said, the staff were great and we enjoyed our stay.

Our stay at Wildhaven may be short, but our impression on how clean, organized & how polite the staff are at this glamping site, gave us an experience that made us like the place and would recommend it to others. We love the complimentary tea & hot chocolate station, although the instant coffee ran out fast. The showers are clean, has warm water & towels provided. The rates though are a little steep, much like a 3-star hotel rate. And $30/pet. Sinks are a little clogged. What a special place! Perfect location. You have the feel of camping ,but Healdsburg is so close for food whether it’s a grocery store or many restaurants to try. The facilities provided are fine and clean, but tents are very close together. Our neighbors were loud until we asked them to stop at almost midnight and others down the way were loud too. The site is so near a busy road that traffic noise is close and constant. They advertise listening to nature but that is impossible. They furnish ear plugs!! The advertised private beach does not exist. There are stairs down a hill to river’s edge. However the staff are nice.

This was our third year coming back to this glamping site. We brought friend this time! Our friend and my family enjoyed the site very much and the easy access to river. Yes, at night, you can hear the vehicle passed by, ear plug is much needed. But the Queen bed is so soft and clean. Make my sleep at night restful. The morning bird chirping, Owl howling at 6 am, its just a part of the whole experience. The water was pretty high on this visit, so not many shallow area to hang out with, but we'll take advantage of the river's current with our floatie. We will definitely come back again next year! 😊

I’ve stayed at Wildhaven Yosemite. I believe that property is newer compared to this one in Sonoma. While it’s still comfortable and the fact that it’s only 5 miles away from Healdsburg Plaza is a plus, I like that the one in Yosemite has a lock and key so u can leave ur valuables inside the tent & also feel more secure at night. I did have a padlock that I keep with my luggage so I kinda improvised and used that to put the zippers together. I don’t believe I’m in danger in any way but as a solo female traveler it feels more secure to know that you’re locked in inside while sleeping. Overall a great experience.

This was a nice getaway for our family. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was nice to have another city close by for restaurant options. They also have a few hiking trails nearby, which we visited and enjoyed it. We would definitely come back again.

Tent is equipped with electric plugs and heater as well as very comfortable bed. Cleanines and noise level are acceptable. Parking is just assigned to be behind the tent - very nice! Bathroom and shower are shared and a short walk from the tent assigned to us, which is a brief walk. Can get cold during night time so plan your shower accordingly. Plenty of hot water and shampoo.etv :) shower and bathroom are very clean - nice! Lastly, the folks there are really nice. It’s our first time here but won’t be our last time. Only suggestion is the “water down” complimentary coffee was a bit disappointing for us. Hope the coffee can improve if economically feasible

The property itself was nice and not to far of a walk from my cabin to the private river access. I rented the cabin, due to the reviews I read about the noise and I was hoping it was more sound proof. Even in the cabin I still heard noise and apparently it's harvest season so it was noisy all throughout the night. If you want a quiet get away this is not the place for you. They supply earplugs for that reason. The heated mattress was a plus but unfortunately the mattress was too hard for me. I wasn't able to get any good rest for the one night I stayed. The staff were all very friendly, cute convenience store with limited items for sale, free coffee/tea station was a plus, the bathrooms, showers and public areas were clean. There was some dirt/leaves that were on the floors, a big spider and spider webs in my cabin. The bedding/linens were clean. Considering the price, I may not be back.

While Wildhaven Sonoma offers decent facilities and private river access, my stay was ruined by hostile and unprofessional front desk staff. Our stay was for 2 nights and 3 days. The tent and surrounding areas were clean and well maintained . The overall management of the property and Amenities was consistent and organized. Our beds were comfortable and had heating blankets under the fitted sheets. A nice touch. The tent amenities were good with electricity, heaters, and charging areas for electronics. There are also BBQ pits and picnic tables at each tent and cabin site. I will say it has a family camp vibe to it. Young families with children running about. So if you are not wanting to be around younger kids during your camp stay then I would not recommend. Also, if I do come back I will rent one of the cabins instead of the tents. The cabins are quieter and have air conditioning for hot days. The Russian River sits right next to the camp area. And float tubes are available at the front office. One last thing is the resort sits next to a busy road. You can hear the cars driving past unfortunately. But overall, it is a pleasant place and well maintained. The location is nice, too. Easy access to surrounding towns and areas of interest. A short drive to most places.

One last thing is the resort sits next to a busy road. You can hear the cars driving past unfortunately. But overall, it is a pleasant place and well maintained. The location is nice, too. Easy access to surrounding towns and areas of interest. A short drive to most places.
