This is our 2nd time here, we plan on making this a yearly trip. We love this place! The Tioga Mine Pit water is SO clear and perfect for swimming. We spent most of our time hanging out on the beach and dock. The house is big and spread out and updated and decorated so nicely and it’s CLEAN! Great fire pit area too, we had a lot of quality family time to end our summer. Thanks Bree for great communication and keeping the house so nice, we will be back!

Loved the location and how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were. Very nice layout for our girls group. The one thing that we thought to add is maybe 2 throw blankets for the couch as well to snuggle with. Overall we loved the property and had a great time! Highly recommend!

We wanted a place that we could swim in clean water with some privacy. The beach area was fantastic - the water is extremely deep and blue. The property was clean and Grand Rapids is close enough to get groceries or explore. We visited the forest museum ands few local restaurants.Breanna was fast to respond to any questions, The kids liked the friendly chipmunk on the beach. Would recommend to anyone!

Home had very nice interior decor and had everything we needed. House was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The beds and furniture were comfortable. The lake was incredible and we enjoyed using the beach area and paddle boards. We were looking for a place that allowed for outdoor activities and we found it. Close to great hiking and biking trails. Property owner was friendly and very responsive. We were very pleased with our visit and would like to return in the future.

Great place to stay! We had four couples; each had their own room. Lots of space to be together; large kitchen and dining area. We enjoyed swimming in the amazing clear water, caught fish off the dock, the paddle boards and kayaks were fun as well. Easy to access and put away. Plenty of parking for four vehicles and two boats. Loved the private location!

The property was clean inside and out. We had to extend our stay several nights and having a fully stocked kitchen with multiple types of coffee makers made it extra comfortable. Our host was always available to answer any questions and even provided firewood for the custom fire pit outside.

Great house overall, really can't think of any complaints regarding layout, amenities, comfort, anything. Which is always what you hope for as "best case" when you book for a location. And what a location it is! We spent hours in the lake floating, snorkelling, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The bonfire pit overlooks the lake where we could hear loons calling, so cool! We are at Otis' nearby on Sugar Lake, and I have to say, it didn't seem nearly as blue as the mine pit did, so I'm very glad we ended up staying here. Host was responsive and easy to work with. We're thinking of making this a yearly trip!

My family of four stayed here for our yearly summer vacation and this was the best place we’ve ever rented, by far. The house: is beautiful and clean and has obviously been completely renovated (by someone who should be an interior designer if they aren’t)! It was much bigger than we needed, but it was nice to spread out and have our teenagers get some alone time ;). The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen is perfect with newer appliances, there are great TVs in every room, the Wi-Fi is fast, washer dryer air conditioning, this place has everything you need. Basement has Game room! The Lake: I had heard about the Tioga pit but didn’t believe it could be true about the blue clear water, but WOW it is amazing. I’m not a big fan of swimming in lakes, even though my kids are, but we swam in that lake multiple times each day and it was so refreshing and clear… you could see your toes no matter how deep you go! while fishing, I literally watched the fish take the bait! The lake is the perfect size, not a bunch of motor boats zipping around, but big enough to kayak around and so beautiful. At times it seems like our own private lake. No weeds! The eagles and loons think it’s great too! The property: Private!! Quiet!! Beautiful! Surrounded by trees except for the space that has the perfect view! We didn’t have a problem with bugs are mosquitoes (wear bugspray at twilight). Even the fire pit ring is custom made with the Tioga logo. We will be booking again.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The property, the lake and the house are simply perfect if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to unwind. We had a great weekend. Breanna has the house fully stocked for cooking. Every utensil we needed was available including an Insta pot for rice. Good morning by the lake and the evenings at the fire pit could not have been better. This place is a hidden jam. We definitely will be back.

We had a great stay at this property. We were in the area for Nordic races at Mt Itasca, and it was wonderful to have this cozy house to come back to after spending the day outside in frigid temps. There is a lot of space to spread out (adults upstairs, teens downstairs), big soft blankets to warm up with, and all of the furniture is really comfortable. The location feels remote without being very far from Grand Rapids. It looks like a great place to be in the summer, we would love to go back. Breanna responded immediately when we had questions, and everything was super clean. Thank you!!

The house was comfortable and very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful lake view, but disappointed that there was no easy access to the lakeshore. Property management was very prompt to respond to a minor issue. Overall one of our favorite rentals in 15 plus years.

What a great time we had at this wonderful house on the lake. We had our own little private beach and deck that was such a peaceful place. The home was clean and comfortable. We felt right at home. The owner was wonderful to work with and very responsive to our requests. She made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this house. Thanks Breanna for taking such good care of us.

This was a wonderful property! The location was remote and peaceful, yet conveniently close to Grand Rapids for golf and hiking. The kitchen was equipped for meal preparation. Plenty of space to relax indoors and outdoors. We will definitely return!

The view of the lake was beautiful. The water was very clear and refreshing to swim in. There was enough space for 7 people comfortably in the house. The bike trails are close by and are a blast to ride.

It was awesome. Well stocked, with everything we needed. Also in a great location, close to everything but felt like we were the only people in the world. I can't speak for all the beds because I only slept on one, but the bed in the main bedroom was so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend you do too.

The house had everything we needed. My teens loved having the downstairs sleeping and game area where they could stay up and sleep in late without old people interfering. The lake was beautiful and we loved how quiet it was. We were glad to have come in August, I think it might be chilly earlier in the year but it was absolutely perfect for swimming. The host was super responsive to questions.

I can not say enough great things about the property and hostess. The house is very spacious with a great view. Beds were many and very comfortable. The hostess had everything provided to guarantee comfort and convenience. The personal touches and welcoming environment made our stay relaxing and restful. Even when the weather gave us an unexpected freeze, the hostess went out of her way to provide safety to the guest. I highly recommend this location for anyone looking for relaxing home away from home!!

The property was clean inside and out. We had to extend our stay several nights and having a fully stocked kitchen with multiple types of coffee makers made it extra comfortable. Our host was always available to answer any questions and even provided firewood for the custom fire pit outside.

The house was comfortable and very clean. Kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Beautiful lake view, but disappointed that there was no easy access to the lakeshore. Property management was very prompt to respond to a minor issue. Overall one of our favorite rentals in 15 plus years.

Great house overall, really can't think of any complaints regarding layout, amenities, comfort, anything. Which is always what you hope for as "best case" when you book for a location. And what a location it is! We spent hours in the lake floating, snorkelling, paddle boarding, and kayaking. The bonfire pit overlooks the lake where we could hear loons calling, so cool! We are at Otis' nearby on Sugar Lake, and I have to say, it didn't seem nearly as blue as the mine pit did, so I'm very glad we ended up staying here. Host was responsive and easy to work with. We're thinking of making this a yearly trip!

The view of the lake was beautiful. The water was very clear and refreshing to swim in. There was enough space for 7 people comfortably in the house. The bike trails are close by and are a blast to ride.

It was awesome. Well stocked, with everything we needed. Also in a great location, close to everything but felt like we were the only people in the world. I can't speak for all the beds because I only slept on one, but the bed in the main bedroom was so comfortable. We would definitely stay here again and recommend you do too.

We wanted a place that we could swim in clean water with some privacy. The beach area was fantastic - the water is extremely deep and blue. The property was clean and Grand Rapids is close enough to get groceries or explore. My family and I met up here for a pre-holiday get together. Three couples and kids. It is a nice house with each couple being able to have their own space and bathroom. The kids shared the bunk bed room. The lake was beautiful, an old mine pit with crystal clear, almost blue water. We stayed early December so it was too chilly to enjoy much but in the summer I imagine kayaking around it would be spectacular. The drop off to the lake, which is mentioned in the property description is steep. It's nice there was a heads up about that. All around was a nice place to stay.

We had a great stay at this property. We were in the area for Nordic races at Mt Itasca, and it was wonderful to have this cozy house to come back to after spending the day outside in frigid temps. There is a lot of space to spread out (adults upstairs, teens downstairs), big soft blankets to warm up with, and all of the furniture is really comfortable. The location feels remote without being very far from Grand Rapids. It looks like a great place to be in the summer, we would love to go back. Breanna responded immediately when we had questions, and everything was super clean. Thank you!!

Great place to stay! We had four couples; each had their own room. Lots of space to be together; large kitchen and dining area. We enjoyed swimming in the amazing clear water, caught fish off the dock, the paddle boards and kayaks were fun as well. Easy to access and put away. Plenty of parking for four vehicles and two boats. Loved the private location!

This was the perfect place to spend a weekend away from the cities. The owner was amazing to work with & very responsive. The reviews about the dropoff/the cliff just past the fire pit were accurate so we watched our 4&2yr old like hawks when outside. Overall it was a great space for a large family gathering, or moms weekend away!

Loved the location and how well stocked the kitchen and bathrooms were. Very nice layout for our girls group. The one thing that we thought to add is maybe 2 throw blankets for the couch as well to snuggle with. Overall we loved the property and had a great time! Highly recommend!

Our stay was wonderful! Would love to stay here in the summer. When we stay at a VRBO as a family, we love to do our own cooking. One suggestion would be to invest in some good cookware. The frying pans are well used and no matter what we made we had trouble with sticking.

My family of four stayed here for our yearly summer vacation and this was the best place we’ve ever rented, by far. The house: is beautiful and clean and has obviously been completely renovated (by someone who should be an interior designer if they aren’t)! It was much bigger than we needed, but it was nice to spread out and have our teenagers get some alone time ;). The beds were super comfortable, the kitchen is perfect with newer appliances, there are great TVs in every room, the Wi-Fi is fast, washer dryer air conditioning, this place has everything you need. Basement has Game room! The Lake: I had heard about the Tioga pit but didn’t believe it could be true about the blue clear water, but WOW it is amazing. I’m not a big fan of swimming in lakes, even though my kids are, but we swam in that lake multiple times each day and it was so refreshing and clear… you could see your toes no matter how deep you go! while fishing, I literally watched the fish take the bait! The lake is the perfect size, not a bunch of motor boats zipping around, but big enough to kayak around and so beautiful. At times it seems like our own private lake. No weeds! The eagles and loons think it’s great too! The property: Private!! Quiet!! Beautiful! Surrounded by trees except for the space that has the perfect view! We didn’t have a problem with bugs are mosquitoes (wear bugspray at twilight). Even the fire pit ring is custom made with the Tioga logo. We will be booking again.🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

All my siblings came from various parts of the state and other states for my Mom's Birthday. Would definitely stay here again. Would highly recommend. The property, the lake and the house are simply perfect if you are looking for a quiet and beautiful place to unwind. We had a great weekend. Breanna has the house fully stocked for cooking. Every utensil we needed was available including an Insta pot for rice. Good morning by the lake and the evenings at the fire pit could not have been better. This place is a hidden jam. We definitely will be back.

The only concern we had was the steep drop-off to the lake, If you have little children you'll want to keep a close eye on them. But, the trade off for the drop-off is the amazing views you'll have.
