Overall it was fine. We were in town for just one day for an event. I think the value is good for where it's located. It's about a 10 min walk to the train station. The bed was comfortable, clean room and very quiet area. Almost no sound. Some other things to note: - Parking is street parking in case you're driving. - Be mindful of where your activity is, it's farther than you think. I didn't realize how far it was from most of the places we needed to go. - You are renting a room, like a hostel, not the whole place, please be mindful of the other guests and your noise. - Doors are heavy so if you're not used to it, be careful of it slamming behind you or your fingers\hands as you operate it.

We needed a place to stay in Brooklyn for a couple if nights. The house is well kept and the host friendly. It is an old house with wood interiors. Expect to hear people walking, closing door, and noise from the next room. The room had a full bed, a twin bed, desk with 2 chairs, a tv table w/o tv, and own bathroom. It had fan, a/c and access to living quarters and kitchen. Street parking was available as well as food options close by. Bathroom had supplies (from what seems to be previous tennants). Bed was too firm to my taste and the presence of a foot board made it uncomfortable (as the bed was short for a 6'-2" man). Overall, we are greatful.

All was good with the place. Nice and clean and comfortable. My only issue is that on Expedia it states there is off street parking and they don’t. I checked other online booking sites and they don’t list parking is available.

Spotless room and bathroom. Very quiet. Bare bones, but homey. Close to subway. Neighborhood a little run down looking but I was with my adult children so I felt ok walking from subway late into the evening. Wouldn’t have dune it on my own.

I had a great stay at Klo guest house. In a safe area, very walkable to Nostramd Ave shops and the train. Staff was available to let me in as promised. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable and simple but had everything I needed.

Very straightforward, clean, and quiet. Generally just what you need for a 1 night stay in the city. Check in and check out was smooth and the bed was very comfortable! All around no issues- perhaps not the best for an extended stay, but this definitely suits the needs of a person just coming through. All around, very nice!

The staff were very helpful, especially as our train was delayed and they made sure someone was there to check us in. The room was basic and dated but clean and tidy. We were only there for one night so didn't get to use the kitchen as we wanted to get out and about to experience the area.

I was so disappointed by this place. I knew It was minimal when I booked it but it was less than that. The bed was horribly uncomfortable- I stayed one night and then had to go sleep on a friend’s couch because it hurt my back so much.The smell of the air freshener made me feel sick, everything was just at a much lower quality than I had expected based on the photos and description. The whole place was a disappointment and I left after one night. I would like to get a refund for the rest of my stay. Please contact me, I have sent multiple messages since the first night!

O primeiro quarto era muito pequeno pelo preco das diarias, alem de o banheiro ser fora, mas depois de dez dias a hostess me ofereceu outro quarto com banheiro sem custo, super espacoso, alem da otima cozinha compartlhada mas super super completa.Me concederam mais 3 horas para o checkout.Fico muito grato por essas gentilezas.Voltatei a NY e escolherei o Klo novamente.Minha gratidao

I liked the vibe of the , working class neighborhood of old Brooklyn houses. Brownstones, stoops . The family members (owner/ "staff ") were available and helpful. I was very satisfied with the shared kitchen, and was quite comfortable in my room with private bathroom. Nice shower, great air-conditioner! Hard to find anything affordable in NY, so I chose simple/ no frills here and was happily surprised.

The KLO guest house was clean, affordable, and the staff was friendly. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was really nice. Host family was very nice and let us leave our luggage there before checking in. The area is very walkable with lots of restaurants and shops. Also close to public transportation.

Not the most salubrious part of town but in no way intimidating. Close to local amenities, 10 minute walk to Nostrand Avenue subway hence only 15 minutes to Manhattan on the A Train, gotta say also that the family/staff who own/maintain the property were just fine. I'd definitely stay there again.

Overall it was fine. We were in town for just one day for an event. I think the value is good for where it's located. It's about a 10 min walk to the train station. The bed was comfortable, clean room and very quiet area. Almost no sound. Some other things to note: - Parking is street parking in case you're driving. - Be mindful of where your activity is, it's farther than you think. I didn't realize how far it was from most of the places we needed to go. - You are renting a room, like a hostel, not the whole place, please be mindful of the other guests and your noise. - Doors are heavy so if you're not used to it, be careful of it slamming behind you or your fingers\hands as you operate it.

I had a great stay at Klo guest house. In a safe area, very walkable to Nostramd Ave shops and the train. Staff was available to let me in as promised. The room was spacious, very clean, comfortable and simple but had everything I needed.

Spotless room and bathroom. Very quiet. Bare bones, but homey. Close to subway. Neighborhood a little run down looking but I was with my adult children so I felt ok walking from subway late into the evening. Wouldn’t have dune it on my own.

Room was spotless and comfortable, in an old, Charming brownstone on a pretty street. Access to a full kitchen. Close to Brooklyn children’s museum and botanical gardens. Merci et à bientôt!

Not the most salubrious part of town but in no way intimidating. Close to local amenities, 10 minute walk to Nostrand Avenue subway hence only 15 minutes to Manhattan on the A Train, gotta say also that the family/staff who own/maintain the property were just fine. I'd definitely stay there again.

The guesthouse is extraordinarily convenient; the location was quiet and lovely. It is well kept and inviting. The air-conditioning was a bit weak given the heat, but good enough. The only issue we had was upon arrival. There are no signs and nothing on the door to indicate which building is the guesthouse. Google maps gave the correct address, but highlighted the wrong house. Our fault for not looking, but luckily the neighbors were gracious.

Lobby was a bit warm but the room had it's own A/C and window so was comfortable. Kitchen was clean and cold water dispenser was always full. Staff was there if needed. Overall, the place was very quiet and very clean. My only surprise was that my private bathroom was down the hall from my room. I am told that is the case with only 2 of the smallest rooms. The larger rooms have private en-suite bathrooms. The entrance was very well lit from the outside, so easy to find the address in the dark. All said, it was fine for my needs, and I would use it again.
