Lakemont Mountain Cabin w/ Game Room & Hot Tub!

The cabin was beautiful, beds were very comfortable, plenty of towels as well as paper products. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking supplies. The game room and hot tub was wonderful. Will definitely consider staying again oh yes, coffee on the balcony in the morning, wonderful way to start the day.

Beautiful cabin, everything provided (including many extra touches - s’mores sticks, hot chocolate, coffee etc), great location, amazing sunrises, teenagers loved the game room!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin! The attention to detail was incredibly impressive, just about anything we could have needed was provided and everything was clearly and well labeled. The views from both decks were breathtaking! We had chilly, rainy weather for a good chunk of the week and were very thankful for the enclosed/screened lower deck with the hot tub. We also really appreciated all the information provided in the cabin for various activities in the area. Our only minor complaint would be that the king bed and the couch downstairs weren't overly comfortable, but that wouldn't stop us from booking and staying here again. We're already talking about planning our next trip!

This property had everything you need to relax and have fun between your adventures. The kitchen was very well equipped. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The view was breathtaking. The entire family had a great time in the game room. We wish we had planned to stay longer.

We loved our stay at brown bear cabin. The house had everything we could think of. The location was so convenient. Accessing the home was easy. Drive way and road to get to the cabin were easy. The views were amazing. Beds were comfortable. Location was quiet. And everything we needed for our goldendoodle who came along also was at the house! One downfall of this cabin is that The ladybugs, and stink bugs were unreal… it was mainly just in one room, but it was almost like an infestation in that room.. which just so happened to be the room me and my husband were staying in. I had to clean them up and get them out several times a day. I understand they are harmless, but they were crawling on the bed…. and everywhere we’d step we’d just bust squishing ladybugs. We’ve stayed in several cabins in this area, same time of year, and never had this problem before. I would definitely suggest some kind of deterrent for that particular bedroom. Other than that, the house was perfect for our size family. The kids LOVED the downstairs game room and karaoke. Everything was perfect and we would definitely stay there again!!

Hits all of the marks for a getaway. Loved that it's off the beaten path. And the views being at tree top are special especially when the mountain mist descends on the valley. The dual decks are a plus, one wide open to nature, the lower screened-in is covered and protected from rain & bugs. And the hot tub makes for great relaxing after an active day. Minimal options for exploring directly off the property given the steepness of the hillside but plenty of activities are close by. It hit the spot for us!

The Brown Bear Cabin was the perfect place for our little getaway weekend. We were close to all the things we wanted to do ... and there was so much to do at "home" that we enjoyed staying in to watch the games and hang out. The owners have done such a great job with furnishings, supplies, activities, and more! Roomy and spacious ... and better than we ever expected!! Thanks for such a great location!!

The cabin was absolutely amazing and the perfect space for our family. It was so cozy and comfortable, it felt like home. We had the best time making memories with our grandkids and we all loved the game room, karaoke, hot tub and the views! We hope to be back next year. We loved our stay in the Georgia mountains! This beautiful cabin fit our needs well. Enough room for our large family, and dogs if you have them! Beautifully decorated, 2 fireplaces, fully stocked kitchen and comfy beds. We all enjoyed the gameroom and arcade machine! Lots of friendly competition. The hot tub and back deck views were also amazing. Definitely recommend this stay for a relaxing time in the mountains.

Wow!! We all had a wonderful time at the cabin. So many thoughtful touches and amenities; we had a very nice bottle of wine & a popcorn bucket waiting upon our arrival. The board & card games, the air hockey table the old school video games and the hot tub were all huge hits for my grandkids during our evenings and on our rainy day. Comfortable beds, extra blankets and a very well equipped kitchen all made our five night stay one of our favorite family vacations. We all give this cabin a five star rating!!

The only drawback is there is really no yard for the kids. I have a grandson that loves being. outside in the woods and we did not find a place on this property. The property went above and beyond our expectations. It was spacious, had many amenities and had a beautiful view. We will definitely be back.

We attend a horse competition at the Rabun arena and this home was about 8 minutes away. Very convenient! The views were beautiful and the bedrooms were comfortable. We had two vehicles and managed to park in the driveway, but it was fairly tight. We plan on returning!

Our visit to Brown Bear Cabin was like coming home. It was evident that the hosts thought of every person in our family...even our pet! It was easy to navigate the functions of the house and amenities, and the sunrise was breathtaking. Thank you for such a lovely vacation.

The cabin was nice. A good view and comfortable. Well positioned for pets. The fire pit did not work, even with the owner bringing more gas and the hot tub would not heat so we couldn’t use those amenities.

The house is better the pictures!! Beds were so comfortable, kitchen so well stocked and the dog friendly touches made it a perfect getaway for our families. We loved the morning sunrises and the large dining area that fit us all. The owners thought of everything to make our stay cozy and memorable. We hiked, found waterfalls, visited great country towns and and ended each day with karaoke and games. Loved the house and location. Thanks for the memories.

The perfect place to get away from the hustle and bustle! Beautiful sunrises, soothing jacuzzi and all the amenities of home, plus things you didn't even know you wanted. :-) Close to local vineyards is a plus! Nearby hiking for all levels of experience, including easy walks for non-hikers. We had such a wonderful stay at The Brown Bear Cabin, that we are already planning to go back.
