This is a well-appointed unit that was clean and suited our needs just right. Only a couple notes: parking is very much a challenge so bring the smallest vehicle you can get away with and the TV could be a little bigger. Otherwise, a really great place and nice stay.

The host was very gracious and thoughtful. The place was clean. The entire check in/out process was easy. Instructions were very clear. They even had "extras" of things we forgot, which came in super handy. You could walk to town. It's up a hill, but not overwhelming... Only a few nitpicks: The pillows were not good. The towels and washcloths were not good. The fireplace didn't work. The shower was incredibly small (I'm an average sized person). It is an older cabin. It could use an update.

Everything was great from the drive in to the host and the property. The condo was 2 short blocks from downtown. You can see the town from the balcony and at night it lights up like a Christmas village. It was cute. We were in for a quick getaway to relax and we did just that. We drove up beech mountain to Fred’s Deli and we visited the Banner Elk winery. All were Amazing! We will be back. Thanks Lillian for everything!

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely, quiet 5-star condo very convenient to the local area. Host was welcoming, very responsive via email or text message. Very easy check-in process to access the condo. Condo was very clean, spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen with many thoughtful touches. Host had a wonderful small supply of treats (tea, Keurig K-cups, instant oatmeal, popcorn, mints) to enjoy. Beds were clean and comfortable with linens in very good shape. Wi-fi worked well with more than adequate bandwidth for a party of three using multiple laptops and tablets. Website photos are representative of the condo. Host provided a very helpful guest book of local dining options, points of interest, etc. We ate in at several restaurants in the downtown area that were excellent: good food, good value for money and very pleasant outdoor atmosphere. This was a clean beautiful home nestled in the mountain the hostess provided everything and more for a comfortable stay including a basket of treats to welcome us and one in each bathroom of things necessary but sometimes forgotten . We enjoyed staying here for our ski trip to NC. Its location is perfect in downtown banner elk. It's so close that we could walk to dinner! It's also a great location for anyone wanting to ski both Beech and Sugar Mountain as we did. Our family of 5 was very comfortable here.

My husband and I came to Banner Elk with friends for a trip to the mountains and wineries. This location was a perfect base as we were near Grandfather Mountain, Boone, NC State Parks and wineries! Main St. Banner Elk was a very short walk - loved walking to town for a stroll on the Greenway and ice cream. Condo was lovely - enough room for our group and kitchen had everything we needed to cook when we ate in on some nights. When we visit, we'll definitely stay here!

The listing was just as described. The host was extremely responsive and kind. We were breaking a car trip at the condo and were planning on doing laundry there. I asked the host about laundry detergent, explaining our situation, and she left us extra. Great stay!

Everything was great from the drive in to the host and the property. The condo was 2 short blocks from downtown. You can see the town from the balcony and at night it lights up like a Christmas village. It was cute. We were in for a quick getaway to relax and we did just that. We drove up beech mountain to Fred’s Deli and we visited the Banner Elk winery. All were Amazing! We will be back. Thanks Lillian for everything!

Perfect location for our girls trip. It was exactly as described. Place was very clean. Easy check in process. Host very responsive with communication. Breathtaking views. LOVED all the windows in the living room that overlooked downtown Banner Elk. We felt very safe and comfortable. We didn’t find it walkable as described due to hilly roads. Overall this was an excellent place and would definitely stay here again.

Our family had an amazing winter visit. The condo was clean a spacious for the four of us. Close to food and the 2 ski resorts. Lillian was so helpful and answered any questions we had. She was an amazing host. We will be back for sure.

We enjoyed staying here for our ski trip to NC. Its location is perfect in downtown banner elk. It's so close that we could walk to dinner! It's also a great location for anyone wanting to ski both Beech and Sugar Mountain as we did. Our family of 5 was very comfortable here.

Had a wonderful stay at this lovely, quiet 5-star condo very convenient to the local area. Host was welcoming, very responsive via email or text message. Very easy check-in process to access the condo. Condo was very clean, spacious, with a well-stocked kitchen with many thoughtful touches. Host had a wonderful small supply of treats (tea, Keurig K-cups, instant oatmeal, popcorn, mints) to enjoy. Beds were clean and comfortable with linens in very good shape. Wi-fi worked well with more than adequate bandwidth for a party of three using multiple laptops and tablets. Website photos are representative of the condo. Host provided a very helpful guest book of local dining options, points of interest, etc. We ate in at several restaurants in the downtown area that were excellent: good food, good value for money and very pleasant outdoor atmosphere. Very nice property. We had a great stay with no issues. The description of the property was accurate. The only thing is the property isn't walkable for everyone to downtown. It's definitely close enough. It's just the very steep hill you have to navigate that makes it not walkable to all guests.
