We were happy with our stay at this house! Jenn was incredibly responsive and helpful as we coordinated checking in especially. The house is large with ample outdoor space and fun activities and games for kids!

Our family stayed here for my son’s wedding and the house was perfect. Single level for small children and adult with limited mobility. It was quiet and beautiful surroundings with Blackberry River babbling heard from the back deck.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is very spacious and was perfect for kids with enough spaces for everyone to sleep and run around. Jennifer was super responsive (within minutes) and friendly and we experienced no problems with the house. My only regret is not being able to spend as much time as we wanted at the house to utilize their amazing backyard (we we had a family wedding which took us away from the property each day). Highly recommend this place - especially to families with kids!

From the welcoming personal touches to the quality linens and bedding, Jenn and Cricket were the perfect hosts. The home is well kept and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and the 3 full bathrooms were convenient for our family stay. We loved sitting out on the deck listening to the river behind the property. The kids loved the games, ping pong and foosball tables. It was so nice being able to spread out yet still be together. We definitely recommend staying at this lovely home, and will stay here again when needed.

Property was exactly what we needed to have our family holiday gathering. My family from Maryland, Arkansas, and Pennslyvania came to Connecticut to meet up with my in-laws to share the holiday. Jennifer was amazing and she even went the extra mile to put up a Christmas tree for us and provided ornaments so we could have a decorating event. The spacious ranch layout and the accessability to the house made possible by the ramp in the garage was perfect for my father-in-law. The entire family had a fantastic holiday thanks to Jennifer and this incredibile property. The house has everything you need as Jennifer and Cricket thought of every last detail. Wonderful property, with a lovely backyard and plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Would love to come back with a bigger group to enjoy the big living room and outdoor space but it was perfect for spending a couple days while in town for a wedding. Host was always responsive and accommodating.

We enjoyed a five day stay relaxing with our family of 5 adults, 1 child and an infant in this beautiful country home. Our daughter uses a wheelchair and we found that the home was very accessible for her. There is a ramp in the garage to enter the home and the bathrooms all have stepless shower entry. The house was very clean and provided us with everything we needed. The family room is quite large and allowed us to comfortably gather to play board games or watch movies. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and dishware etc. if you plan to eat in, but we also found some very good restaurants nearby. The hosts met us when we arrived and were very welcoming. We didn’t require anything during our stay but it was nice to know they were readily available if needed. We would love to return in the future for another family get together!

We were in town for a Hotchkiss graduation. The location was perfect for that, just a short drive. The house was spacious and clean and plenty of room to hang out together or if we wanted to hang out in smaller groups we could spread out. We loved all the little details that Jennifer added, we were greeted with some delicious Cabot cheese, and homemade soaps made by a friend of hers. The bathrooms was well stocked with necessities like q-tips, floss, etc. The kitchen was well supplied too. There were extra blankets and pillows. We also really appreciated Jennifer's flexibility with allowing us to check-in whenever we arrived since we got stuck in traffic and didnt arrive until very late, 10pm. Great stay all in all.

This house is located on a large lot, is spacious and meticulously clean and comfortable. It's great for families with kids. The owners are wonderful people who are responsive and attentive. We comer here 3-4 times a year to visit our grandkids.

We've stayed in this lovely home so often that it's become our home away from home when visiting the grandkids. There is no other place in the area that compares, in terms of comfort, cleanliness, and convenience. Believe me, we've tried them all. Excellent experience at this house. 2 of my curling teammates and myself, for 3 nights. Very clean, beautiful location, and plenty of space. And just 6-7 minutes to the curling club. Jennifer is very pleasant, and always responded promptly to all of my questions. I was especially grateful when she brought me a replacement house key, about 2 minutes after I notified her that I had carelessly misplaced the first key. 5 star house, and hostess. Absolutely.

This was the second time I stayed here with my curling team. 3 nights, playing in a tournament at the nearby club. The house is extremely comfortable. Jennifer is very prompt and very friendly with her responses to my questions. No issues whatsoever.

Our family needed a place in proximity to our son’s school for graduation activities. This was the perfect location only @ 8 minutes away from Salisbury School. There was excellent communication from the owner before, during, and after our stay. We were very impressed. The home was perfect for gathering together and separately as needed. The home literally has everything one needs for their stay including bur not limited to soap, board games, all utensils necessary for cooking, and a coffee bar. The shower pressure and temps were good, which is important to me. The home was clean and neat when we arrived. The only suggestion we have would be to label where things are as the is so much. Also, the bed in the bedroom to the right makes a “creeky” sound when I wad getting in and out of it so for a light sleeper like my husband fixing that would be helpful. Overall, each family member, including our graduate, said it was the perfect place to gathered. We have one more son to go and will hopefully be back next year.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house had accommodations for all ages, and my kids really enjoyed the kids' sleeping area when they just wanted to relax. You can't beat the view from the home! The changing of the trees by the creek were so beautiful. Also, Jessica went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to CT.

Enjoyed our stay at first. Host was very nice and no issues to begin with. Second night are when the problems started. Had some people over after a Jack and Jill (15 max). Got a phone call from the host at around 8:00pm saying everyone needed to leave. I agreed and as I was getting people out of the house, 5-10 minutes later, the host and her husband showed up to the house and came in the front door and kicked everyone out and said that everyone, including myself and my 3 friends who were the original guests, had to leave. With nowhere to stay we had no option but to drive all the way home in the middle of the night. Didn’t mean no harm, the friends weren’t staying the entire night, they just came over to grill some food and hang out for a bit. Owner and husband were good people and I have no hard feelings towards them at all, however a bit too strict in my opinion.

We enjoyed a five day stay relaxing with our family of 5 adults, 1 child and an infant in this beautiful country home. Our daughter uses a wheelchair and we found that the home was very accessible for her. There is a ramp in the garage to enter the home and the bathrooms all have stepless shower entry. The house was very clean and provided us with everything we needed. The family room is quite large and allowed us to comfortably gather to play board games or watch movies. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans and dishware etc. if you plan to eat in, but we also found some very good restaurants nearby. The hosts met us when we arrived and were very welcoming. We didn’t require anything during our stay but it was nice to know they were readily available if needed. We would love to return in the future for another family get together!

Excellent experience at this house. 2 of my curling teammates and myself, for 3 nights. Very clean, beautiful location, and plenty of space. And just 6-7 minutes to the curling club. Jennifer is very pleasant, and always responded promptly to all of my questions. I was especially grateful when she brought me a replacement house key, about 2 minutes after I notified her that I had carelessly misplaced the first key. 5 star house, and hostess. Absolutely.

We were in town for a Hotchkiss graduation. The location was perfect for that, just a short drive. The house was spacious and clean and plenty of room to hang out together or if we wanted to hang out in smaller groups we could spread out. We loved all the little details that Jennifer added, we were greeted with some delicious Cabot cheese, and homemade soaps made by a friend of hers. The bathrooms was well stocked with necessities like q-tips, floss, etc. The kitchen was well supplied too. There were extra blankets and pillows. We also really appreciated Jennifer's flexibility with allowing us to check-in whenever we arrived since we got stuck in traffic and didnt arrive until very late, 10pm. Great stay all in all.

This was the perfect weekend stay for a couple, a 3-year-old, and a 4-year-old. They enjoyed the spacious property and proximity to all of the amenities of the lower Berkshires. Would definitely recommend!

Our family needed a place in proximity to our son’s school for graduation activities. This was the perfect location only @ 8 minutes away from Salisbury School. There was excellent communication from the owner before, during, and after our stay. We were very impressed. The home was perfect for gathering together and separately as needed. The home literally has everything one needs for their stay including bur not limited to soap, board games, all utensils necessary for cooking, and a coffee bar. The shower pressure and temps were good, which is important to me. The home was clean and neat when we arrived. The only suggestion we have would be to label where things are as the is so much. Also, the bed in the bedroom to the right makes a “creeky” sound when I wad getting in and out of it so for a light sleeper like my husband fixing that would be helpful. Overall, each family member, including our graduate, said it was the perfect place to gathered. We have one more son to go and will hopefully be back next year.

Since we stay in this lovely home at least three times a year, it's hard to add anything new. It's absolutely perfect for our needs. Modern, comfortable, spacious, great for visits by the grandkids, gorgeous setting. The owners are sweethearts and extremely attentive. What else to say? Well, we'll say it again next time too!

From the welcoming personal touches to the quality linens and bedding, Jenn and Cricket were the perfect hosts. The home is well kept and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and the 3 full bathrooms were convenient for our family stay. We loved sitting out on the deck listening to the river behind the property. The kids loved the games, ping pong and foosball tables. It was so nice being able to spread out yet still be together. We definitely recommend staying at this lovely home, and will stay here again when needed.

We truly enjoyed our stay here. The house had accommodations for all ages, and my kids really enjoyed the kids' sleeping area when they just wanted to relax. You can't beat the view from the home! The changing of the trees by the creek were so beautiful. Also, Jessica went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. We look forward to staying here again on our next trip to CT.
