The bed linen meaning pillows bedspread was not good took one out of closet it looked like pea stan on it in the middle so could not use it., took too long to exchange, no pool or hot tub, no tv's in bedrooms, had cable issues The place was located in good area, had blinds fall down in master bedroom.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Rented Beach Castle through RVA on Longboat Key. The place / location was great (condo itself is awesome but the value provided by RVA is little to none). RVA overcharged for location given other rental prices in area. You would expect for $20K rental charge for a month that you would have a working grill on the property. The grill has not been updated in three years and is so dirty and in such disrepair it is unusable. Perhaps invest one night of my stay and buy a new grill for other guests. In addition they removed the picnic table and never replaced it. This was our third strait year of renting this property through RVA but we will most likely look for alternatives moving forward.

Nice condo with terrific beach access. It should be added to the listing that Beach Castle resort provides beach lounge chairs and umbrellas for all guests. Overall a nice rental. Not generous enough in towel supplies and beach towels would have been nice to have provided. Kitchen supplies very underwhelming especially compared with other beach rentals we have done. Not even salt and pepper provided. Poor quality paper towels/one kitchen towel to use/should note coffee brewer is full pot, not Keurig. Coffee filters provided but no coffee. No dishwasher detergent provided at all. Small amenities that would go a long way to enhance the rental.

Property was nice and close to the beach. Quiet community. Check in instructions were a little confusing but once we figured out which side of the road we needed to be on it was an easy process. Rooms were great, beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

We stay on the Gulf every summer and this was the best place we have stayed so far. It was spacious and clean, only steps from the beach. There is no laundry inside the rental, however a common washer/dryer was right outside our door.

Great location on Longboat Key, LOVE that they have beach chairs and umbrellas available. Space was clean and comfortable except for the beds, which is a personal preference, we prefer hard beds these were on the softer side. Otherwise awesome place!

The location of the condo is excellent—just yards from the Gulf beaches. Walking distance of several terrific restaurants and an easy drive to Sarasota. The unit is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The owner supplied towels and linens were in abundance. Free laundry in the 8 unit complex is handy. The TV is a smart TV that is not connected to cable. It does have Netflix, Prime, ESPM and other streaming services (you need your own account info to login) and it has many channels. It does not have a cable input so it uses a streaming service with which we were unfamiliar and found it difficult to navigate to watch several events. Luckily we had our Fire Stick with us and used that to navigate the system. Our only suggestion for the owner is add cable service to the TV.

The property is a great location. There was a couple of items that need attention. The Patio Door Blinds need some attention. 4 individual blinds are missing. The blinds operate okay, they just have gaps where the blinds are missing. The Master bathroom the Shower faucet needs repair. It is loose. We also found the shower curtain was badly stained and rusted at the bottom. We purchased a new curtain. I would also suggest adding a Television in the master bedroom. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

So we will absolutely stay at Beach Castle Resort again. Sue made check in a breeze and was super friendly and accommodating (thanks Sue)! You also cannot beat being right on the beach and all the amenities provided (beach chairs, towels, sand toys, bogey boards, and umbrellas! However, unit 5 was dirty (a dead cockroach in the closet, moldy shower curtain, and stains on the couch). Each unit is individually owned, so we plan to rent another unit next year. We would stay at number 5 if they did a deep clean, got rid of the dirty items, and an exterminator.

I was THRILLED to find the peace and care of property is equal to that time I was last here. My husband and I truly relaxed! We enjoyed the beach view tremendously. Unit 2 was perfectly equipped. Bed was very comfortable. And I was so happy I finally got to use the “twisty stairs” :)

Beach Castle #2 was exactly as described and we were very happy with the accommodation. It was fully equipped, had a screened deck with beautiful Gulf breezes and views. The rental process from start to finish was seamless. We really enjoyed our time there.

Bed was very comfortable. And I was so happy I finally got to use the “twisty stairs” :)

In addition they removed the picnic table and never replaced it. This was our third strait year of renting this property through RVA but we will most likely look for alternatives moving forward.

Reviewer Comments: Always a great time , we have stayed at beach castle 6-7 years .the bed broke in the kids room and they had to sleep on floor , maintenance came and bent leg back by hand and it broke again , the next day maintenance came back and changed bed frame.The rear slider won’t lock on one side , the guy to the right walked in on us and scared my daughter in law and scared her saying he came in wrong unit. That needs fixed. Moulin on bathroom floor tile, the couch had stains on cushions and there needed to be a nicer couch and chair and add a chair , there wasn’t enough places to set

We have stayed in Longboat before in other resorts but this visit was the best. The check-in, parking, rooms very clean, coffee maker, umbrellas. I contacted the management and they answered me in timely manner. They had beach umbrellas and all emmenities. I will definitely recommend this resort and will return.

Property was nice and close to the beach. Quiet community. Check in instructions were a little confusing but once we figured out which side of the road we needed to be on it was an easy process. Rooms were great, beds were comfy. Would definitely stay again.

So we will absolutely stay at Beach Castle Resort again. Sue made check in a breeze and was super friendly and accommodating (thanks Sue)! You also cannot beat being right on the beach and all the amenities provided (beach chairs, towels, sand toys, bogey boards, and umbrellas! However, unit 5 was dirty (a dead cockroach in the closet, moldy shower curtain, and stains on the couch). Each unit is individually owned, so we plan to rent another unit next year. We would stay at number 5 if they did a deep clean, got rid of the dirty items, and an exterminator.

This condo is in the perfect spot for beachwalking! Miles of firm, white sand both north and south of the property. Nice view of the gulf from the lanai, and we kept the doors open all night and listened to the waves. Several nice restaurants within walking distance, too. Loved that Longboat Key is so quiet compared to other nearby islands, but be prepared for occasional slow traffic getting back to the mainland. Would definitely consider renting this property again!

The location of the condo is excellent—just yards from the Gulf beaches. Walking distance of several terrific restaurants and an easy drive to Sarasota. The unit is well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The owner supplied towels and linens were in abundance. Free laundry in the 8 unit complex is handy. The TV is a smart TV that is not connected to cable. It does have Netflix, Prime, ESPM and other streaming services (you need your own account info to login) and it has many channels. It does not have a cable input so it uses a streaming service with which we were unfamiliar and found it difficult to navigate to watch several events. Luckily we had our Fire Stick with us and used that to navigate the system. Our only suggestion for the owner is add cable service to the TV.
