Nice hotel, however paper thin walls. Washing laundry is a mess, buy pods in lobby (credit card only), told to get change from liquor store for machines (which DONT operate with coins…) No restaurants to eat within 4-5 blocks. But, place is ok.

Update the stairs too steep and narrow.

Overall not a bad stay. Big room was pretty clean except for the carpet. No breakfast which is disappointing since the price of this room was very expensive considering the location of the hotel. Walking my dog at night was scary due to the homless people hanging out around the hotel with drunks puking on the sidewalk and in the alley. Hotel has no control over this. Staff was friendly.

Nobody at front desk for check in, even though within check in time. Rang bell by door and left messages at two different numbers provided on sign, but had to find housekeeping to assist. Was told that bell wasn’t working. Ice machine also not working; was told ice available (for free) at gas station. Opening in ceiling in shower from what seemed like an unfinished repair.

This is not a classy hotel with an elevator. It is a two floor exterior access only motel. The room was spacious enough with a couch, arm chair, and desk (and refride, microwave and coffee maker) but no breakfast (seems the rule out here). And it was clean enough. Still the arm chair was worn out with a tear in one of the two arms that were both badly soiled from wear. There was a small tear in one of the cushions of the couch and the worst was a badly rusted baseboard radiator in the bathroom that was in your face sitting on the toilet. A new (or newer) armchair and a coat of paint on the radiator would do a lot for this review.

Room was good, only issue was that their ice machine was broken; there was an ice bucket in the room, it would have been nice if they had put a note that there was no ice available. Also, the office wasn’t staffed during the posted hours.

The room had a lot of pros. They were things like being quite large and being pretty clean. The exception to being clean was the carpet. It had been patched poorly in several spots, was in shreds around the patches, was bunching up in the center of the floor, and just generally looked really dirty. The toilet was not firmly attached to the floor but it did not seem to be leaking. On the plus side the mini fridge was a lot bigger than most mini fridges. The microwave was standard size. There was TV but the channel selection was pretty limited. It seemed to be only the channels that come free with Amazon Fire. There was a second remote that said Xfinity on it but despite my best efforts I could not find any other options other than the Fire TV. If they would just replace the carpet, the quality of the room would be elevated considerably.

Convenient location. Rooms very clean, smelled fresh and clean too. Older buiding including tub/shower/ sink but all functioned well and were very clean. Everything else nicely updated/ remodeled. Friendly helpful staff. Large TV, could watch Netflix. Good water pressure. Parking lot felt safe. Room and stay was much better than my previous stay at a Comf*rt Inn.

Obviously, the price is right for this hotel. When we arrived, they were undergoing renovations outside and inside, so it was a bit messy. Our room was newly painted with nice bedding. The TV was incredibly large with lots of viewing options. The bathtub and carpet were in poor condition. Overall, we had a comfortable stay inside our large room. Outside, we didn't feel particularly safe with the number of unhoused in the community. We couldn't walk to get food. The disappointing down for our stay was the wonky internet. For one night, the price was right!

I had a great stay here! The room was huge, very clean, and came with a big sofa and ottoman which made it extra comfortable to relax in. The beds were cozy, and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of hot water. The room also had a huge smart TV and high-speed WiFi, which was a nice bonus for the price I paid. The only small issue was that the microwave wasn’t fully working—the internal plate didn’t rotate—but it wasn’t a dealbreaker. Overall, for the space, cleanliness, comfort, and amenities, this inn is well worth it. I’d definitely stay again!

Nice spacious room, comfortable bed. Carpet needed a little love. There were holes.

Overall, it was good for the cost. The wifi that they have is not strong at all. Our room was close to the office, and there wasn't enough wifi to run the streaming services on the tv. The tv only ran on wifi, and not a hard line, so in order to watch anything we had to hotspot from our phone.

Shower regulation leaves much to be desired, but the place is pretty good for the price

The staff were friendly. The room was nice and spacious. We really liked having two separate sinks. The bed was comfortable.

Nice and clean room. Only a little bit noisy. People walking above us and flushing the toilet or using the shower.

The room was spacious and clean. The only negative thing was, in room 110, there was a gap under the door big enough to fit my fingers through. Other than that, great price and would stay again if i ever come back to Aberdeen.

The worst part was the shower. The bathtub had been painted and the paint was peeling. We put a provided mat down so we wouldn’t get scraped by the peeling paint, but the bath mat was spiked and a little painful. The shower head water pressure was low and we couldn’t get a steady temperature. The water was either too hot or just cold. Also, the room had an oder we couldn’t get rid of and the sink was clogged.

I liked it. It was a little loud because it was near the street, but otherwise, inside was really nice for what it was. Will stay again here.

We had a great stay, the staff were excellent and very accommodating to our needs. Will definitely recommend this place.

I gave one star for the actual room because it exceeded my expectations and was relatively clean. The receptionist and check in process made it to where we will likely not stay again which is unfortunate being there’s only so many locations in this town. The young woman who checked me in was rude, unwelcoming, and definitely needs a course in customer service of some sort. If you’re choosing to work in the hospitality industry I’d probably try to not seem bothered by someone coming in or bothered by them that you have to actually do your job. I attempted to speak a total of 5 basic sentences to this person and was interrupted 4 of 5 times I spoke and eventually gave up on trying to communicate. Warning, if you choose “pay at property,” through Hotels for this - they will attempt to charge you first thing that morning, not at check in time, not when you’re in person, but at their own discretion as I was told “we do it to ensure we get our commissions.” Hotels.com customer service states they shouldn’t be doing this as it’s done without authorization of the customer, I’ve never experienced this anywhere else before - but I’m not surprised after reading some of the other reviews and their policies.

There was nobody there to check me in . The parking lot was extreamly dirty with trash everywhere . They told us to come back at 7pm to late for us ,we didnt stay and had to book another hotel and they still took are money.

No one at the front desk door was locked ring the doorbell nobody came called them and still had to wait in the cold rain it was barely 6:00 p.m.

When I got there, I had to stand outside. I arrived during business hours according to the sign, but the door was locked. I rang the doorbell to see if I could get some help, but no one came. So, I called them and then they said they would send someone out. Overall, I waited outside about 5 minutes. The room was ok but had a strong perfume smell that made me feel like smells were being masked in the room. The couch had a visible rip in it. Mirrors were crooked, there is a huge gap under the room door where it's easy to see daylight. The shower pressure was low. All in all, I made it work, but this place could certainly be better. If you're just looking for a place to crash, it'll do. If you're going to stay here, I recommend ear plugs for the noise, that you bring your own shampoo (theirs hurt my scalp, which doesn't normally happen when I travel), and that you arrive knowing it may be a bit before you are taken care of.

Walking distance to groceries, some great local restaurants and bars. Nice location as home-base for some day trips in the area.

Was very affordable and nicer than the last place we had that we paid twice as much for. We walked 2 blocks to Denny’s to eat because we got in late, which was convenient but not the nicest neighborhood for walking. Very nice room -only complaint is the sink doesn’t have a plug, and I almost lost an earring down it.

The outside areas look very neglected, but upon entering the room, I was pleasantly surprised. It appears to have been recently renovated. be prepared for local transportation noises, such as trains, boat horns and cars.

The king room was nice and spacious. A jewel in the ruff would be appropriate. Easy check in and friendly staff. The City can do more to clean up their streets and enforce their zoning rules and regulations. A little clean up is in order for the city.

We had a safe & relaxing overnight stay in this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean & have nice in-room appliances (with coffee) & very comfortable bed / beddings. The hotel is close to food, grocery & shopping. Also it's easy to drive from here to Westport &/or Oceanshores. It's definitely a great value for short or long stays.

Convenient to restaurants, convenient to highway 101

The Olympic Inn is the perfect place for us to stay while visiting our son in Aberdeen. They’ve recently done some upgrades that are quite cheery. They do need to replace some loose electrical sockets. Sometimes the plugs won’t stay in. They have plenty of parking and are very near a Denny’s for an easy breakfast in the morning.

Counter staff was friendly and the room was good. Water pressure was good. Motel is close to dining and shopping

Very nice room with air conditioning. Enjoyed walking to a nearby restaurant recommended by the staff.

This was a cute old fashioned motel! The staff was super nice and helpful and there was a great Denny's restaurant just 1 block away. We would stay again!
