The location is 400ft from a nice restraunt and the grocery/gas station. Plenty of room for our group of 6. Linens and towels were provided. Mini fridge, toaster, and microwave were enough to get us through the weekend. Karen was very helpful with everything, including things to do in the area. Will definitely keep this property in mind next season. 15 mins from Jay peak and 40 mins from Smugglers' Notch made it possible to easily hit both mountains in one weekend.

We had a great time. Close to Jay, but away from resort chaos. Walk next door for a delicious family dinner (mention your starting locally for 10% off) or across the street for tasty bakery & coffee & ski tuning. Easy to get used to washing dishes in the bathroom sink and ducking for one low doorframe into the family room. The property managers work downstairs during work hours.

Overall, we loved the place and give it 5 stars- the location, cleanliness, bedrooms were really nice, very private/quiet, proximity to Jay Peak, restaurants (The Belfry was great!)... A few little things to note: There is a small basin to wash dishes (no kitchen) but if I came again, I would bring paper plates, utensils, etc. as dishes were a bit hard to clean. Bathroom is spacious and really nice but shower is a little awkward and the bathroom door doesn't close completely. There is no thermostat to control the heat. Overall, would highly recommend.

This is a bright 2BR with a large living space just steps away from Montgomery Restaurants and stores. About a 20 min. Drive to Jay Peak. There is really no kitchen, Just a minifrige and a microwave at the top of the stairs and a table with coffee maker and tea kettle. A small table with chairs (even a bistro set) would greatly improve the apt. and there's plenty of room. If one only wants to have breakfast and maybe lunch to go this is perfect.

This property was great for a retreat in the middle of no where. If you want to get close to nature and the beautiful covered bridges that are local, then this is the place to stay. The kitchen amenities were very limited which made it a bit harder to stay there. We did figure it out. We did not know we would not have a freezer. The diner and coffee shop within walking distance was super adorable and had good food. Saturday at Bernie's is prime rib nigh and that is massive and cheap. The stairs was a little bit steep for my mom to get up and down. We made things work and it was a cute place to stay for our 4 days. Karen was super sweet and super welcoming. We did not have cell service only her WIFI. Which was fine to get away from our phones. I am not sure what service works best there but At&t does not. Overall great place. We went off season at the end of May.

Place was awesome, very clean. Karen was very friendly. The location was excellent. We did leave before staying the second night due to a foot situation, but no fault of the place and will definitely plan to stay again. So close to Jay Peak and all Amenities.

We were very pleased with the place! Everything very clean as it appeared on vrbo (though some pics of the same rooms need to be updated). Very nice hardwood floors and comfortable beds. We would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

15 minutes from Jay Peak. Right across the street is a ski shop to get your equipment tuned. There is a TD bank ATM next door. A convenience store one minute walk. A tavern one minute walk. Restaurant right next door. Comfy beds and good heat as well. 5 stars. I plan on booking here again thats for sure

This is the second time we have stayed at Karen's. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, and the tv/living room area is big enough to spread out and relax after a day of skiing. Montgomery is adorable, with some great places for meals all within walking distance. Highly recommend!

We spent four nights here while visiting our son who works at Jay and lives a few houses down Main Street. Karen was very prompt in responding to my questions. There's a little grocery store a few buildings down and several restaurants within the block, as well as a biking/hiking/snowshoe trail that can be accesses from behind the property as well. Would definitely stay here again, and because there are 2 bedrooms plus a living area it would work well for a family or two couples also.

This property is so cozy and perfect for a weekend getaway. My husband and I stayed with our adult daughter, and there was plenty of room. It provided a perfect homebase after our days of activity. Steps were a little tricky, but don't let that stop you! Book now!

Booked 2 nights for a ski trip to Jay Peak. Really enjoyed Montgomery Center. Make sure you eat a Bernie’s at least once. Everything is convenient, hill is 8 miles away, Plenty of places to eat within blocks and groceries just a block away.

This is a bright 2BR with a large living space just steps away from Montgomery Restaurants and stores. About a 20 min. Drive to Jay Peak. There is really no kitchen, Just a minifrige and a microwave at the top of the stairs and a table with coffee maker and tea kettle. A small table with chairs (even a bistro set) would greatly improve the apt. and there's plenty of room. If one only wants to have breakfast and maybe lunch to go this is perfect.

We spent four nights here while visiting our son who works at Jay and lives a few houses down Main Street. Karen was very prompt in responding to my questions. There's a little grocery store a few buildings down and several restaurants within the block, as well as a biking/hiking/snowshoe trail that can be accesses from behind the property as well. Would definitely stay here again, and because there are 2 bedrooms plus a living area it would work well for a family or two couples also.

The property was clean and conveniently located next to a breakfast business that is extremely good. I will certainly recommend this to any family. Stowe Mount is about an hour away from this property as well.

Fantastic location, close to Jay Peak, walk to supermarket, restaurants, and ski shop. The suite was very cozy, welcoming, and cute.
