My husband and I came up for a weekend to relax, unwind and enjoy the Christmas festivities. Upon arrival you are engulfed in relaxation. The sounds, views, jacuzzi, sauna, and rain/steam bath wow! Then to top it off to have the tv on a relaxing Christmas scene just set the mood. Bridgette was attentive and a wonderful host!

We had a great time staying here with all of the spa amenities. Massage chair is very nice, hot tub, cold plunge and sauna were a great. King bed was comfy and shower was very nice. Heated bathroom floor is awesome. Host was wonderful and accommodating. Typically we look for more private stays but this was definitely worth the change up.

This is the place for relaxing! The spa, plunge pool, sauna, massage chair, massage table, steam shower and then all of the little touches that the owner does make this a perfect location for relaxing! We will be back!

I came on a very hard weeks of work. This place was exactly what I needed. Serenity. Spa. Comfort hosts. Easy check in. I needed this place so much! Got stuck staying and working for a longer time than expected and I felt at home. The spa was amazing. Cold plunge was perfect temp! Loooove! Steam bath cleansed me. Ohh and the massage chair wow! I felt so rejuvinated with all the work stress around me. The rain fell the forest full of deer. Thank you so much!

Amenities were superb and very clean! We were only able to use the outdoor hot tub and fire pit on our first night in this lovely wooded setting because of the pouring rain the following day. However because of the beautiful steam shower, the relaxing massage chair, and comfy bed, we were able to still enjoy a full spa experience despite the weather! Highly recommended!

Such a gorgeous location. I’m always skeptical with places like this but the setup which Bridgette and the team have made here is absolutely phenomenal. The weekend was so relaxing with the sauna, steam shower, hot tub and ice bath. The hosts filled the ice bath up with fresh ice at a moment’s notice so it was always a low temperature when we needed it. The area was so quiet and peaceful but also a 10min drive to Durham and 20-mins to Portsmouth so couldn’t have beeen better location-wise. Thank you again for a brilliant stay, I hope to be back in the wintertime!!

This property is exactly as described! It was so relaxing. We used all of the amenities- cold plunge, sauna, hot tub, steam shower, massage chair! Everything was setup beautifully, with such wonderful attention to detail. We cooked dinner in the outdoor kitchen, which was stocked with everything we needed to make our meal. I couldn’t be more thankful for the 3 days we spent together.

The property was very nice. Accommodations were very clean. The listing states it’s a 2 bedroom rental, but we only had access to one. The listing also mentions a kitchen, but this was an outdoor kitchen. Not what we expected. There were not enough towels for 2 people for a whole weeks stay. We really enjoyed the hot tub and massage chair. The area with things to do were great!

Host is very attentive and quick to respond. Our experience was as advertised and more. House was clean and all of the amenities offered were clean and sanitized as well. Even with an active 5 year old, home felt calm and relaxing. Will love to make this a yearly spot.

We had a great stay here. The property and accommodations were excellent. Clean, quiet, and as comfortable as we could ask for. It is in a great location close to the University of NH (great to drive and walk through) and Portsmouth. Highly recommend staying here!

When I go away with my husband for a relaxing weekend, I’ve always used hotels; this was the first time we used a VRBO just for the two of us. The listing seemed perfect- hot tub, sauna, king sized bed, steam shower, massage chair, small kitchenette. The pictures show that it’s in a wooded area, almost rural, private. All of the amenities were there and in great condition, the only surprise- the accommodations are part of the owners house, sort of a spa redesign of an in-law apartment. I felt pretty blind-sided by this, the way the pictures looked it seemed like a little vacation bungalow on its own private lot. We almost left the night we arrived because this is not our style. However, we stayed and did enjoy everything, but I would not say that this is a place for people who want total privacy; we could hear the family moving in the house, had to walk by their house to get to the entrance, would’ve been visible from their deck/windows if we had used the hot tub. A great place for people who want a nice spa weekend on a budget who don’t want a high level of privacy.

My husband and I were looking for a short get-a-way to just relax & unwind. From the get-go, Bridget was super friendly and accommodating, making us feel right at home. The place itself was charming and cozy, with thoughtful touches everywhere. The real highlights were the jacuzzi and sauna. After a day of hiking and shopping, they were pure bliss. We will definitely be go back! Highly recommend.

The property is nestled back into the woods which provides a secluded feel. The only important thing I would tell future visitors is that the suite is directly attached to the owner\'s home and may not provide the privacy expected. The amenities (sauna, hot tub, plunge pool, fire, and outdoor cook area) are all on a patio that is shared/adjacent to the owner\'s home. That being said, my partner and I still had a wonderful stay. The owner Brigitte welcomed us and showed us all the amenities and was available to answer any questions we had. The suite itself was very well set up for the "spa" feel. There is a minifridge and microwave, but if you want to cook anything you\'d have to use the firepit or outdoor kitchen. It was rainy the weekend we went so we ended up eating out more instead. We found a few local shops, restaurants, and a cat cafe that we really liked. There is also a trail nearby within walking distance. I do highly recommend this location if you are looking for a nice place away from home to spend time with your partner.

This property is lovely and in a very nice area of New Hampshire. The place opens up to a small spa like waiting room with a sofa and massage chair which leads to a door to the actual bedroom and bathroom, which is well appointed and comfortable. With this said, I would recommend this place to a couple not a family because of the setup. The room is attached to the owner's home and you will hear talking and footsteps and pass by their living area windows when going to and from your car. The hot tub is a great feature and was very nice to relax in. My husband and I have been using VRBO since 2010 and stay in at least 2 to 3 places a year. We tend to like more privacy and not share our space with others. But if you don't mind this type of set-up it is overall a nice place and the owner is responsive and friendly.

Upon arrriving, it was a nice surprise to have our host greet us with a quick synopsis of where everything was and how all worked etc... Super friendly and informative. The hottub was at perfect temperature, steam shower was awesome. We were provided abundant privacy and enjoyed our stay immensely! It truly was a spectacular getaway...highly recommend!

Brigitte was an excellent host and took the utmost care into designing the perfect oasis in the woods. She warmly greeted us upon arrival and was available in case we needed anything during our stay. Would definitely return in a heartbeat! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to get away for a few days and relax. Durham’s town center is only an 8 minute drive away with some food and drink options; Portsmouth is about a 15-20 minute drive (great place to spend a day and night walking around).

What a true gem! This place was a breath of fresh air, and then some more. Brigette was an amazing host, walked us through everything, explained how the jacuzzi, sauna, plunge pool worked. As well as made sure everything in the rental was stocked with anything we could have needed to relax and truly unwind. What an amazing slice of relaxation in a truly amazing area. We cannot wait to see the outdoor kitchen when it is done. We highly recommend this as a fantastic place to stay, unwind, and enjoy anywhere that is recommended by Brigette, she knows the best spots!

Stayed at this beautiful property for 2 nights with my best friend. It was far enough away from town to feel the peace and quiet yet close enough for amazing shopping and food. We plan on making this our new pre Christmas tradition for years to come! Bridgette has absolutely thought of everything to make this property absolute relaxation! Can’t wait to go back!

A mini oasis for sure. Well done of the set up and operation. Very relaxing and private and such a lovely location. Felt like I could let the normal life go and just take that fresh air and relax fully. Such a great host and I recommend this place for sure.

It was secluded and yet not far from some great restaurants and attractions. The place was amazing! The spa amenities were everything you could ask for to make for a relaxing weekend. The hostess was very gracious, on-site and very responsive!

We had a great stay here. The property and accommodations were excellent. Clean, quiet, and as comfortable as we could ask for. It is in a great location close to the University of NH (great to drive and walk through) and Portsmouth. Highly recommend staying here!

We really enjoyed staying here for 2 nights. Very peaceful location and high quality facilities (hot tub, sauna, etc.) We even saw deer walking around. Great to get away from the busy city even if just for a short time

We throughly enjoyed this retreat property. It is located in a quiet area that is surrounded by trees and nature. We really enjoyed the outdoor kitchen area that was just installed. Our host Bridgette put a-lot of effort into making sure we had everything we needed.

We absolutely loved staying at this property! It was restful and serene. Brigitte has thought of everything to make this space like a spa getaway. We had our 2 sons with us (8 & 5), and they loved waking up and going in the hot tub and plunge pool! The outdoor kitchen and firepit were also so nice to have! Thanks so much to Brigitte for being an amazing hostess!

I recovered from a reverse shoulder replacement here at bridgette's Spa with my sister. It was the perfect spot with a year round out door hot tub just steps from the door, heated bathroom floor with a large steam shower, massage/yoga recliner chair, and all the oils to go with it. bridgette was amazing, always available and so accommodating! She served us the most amazing breakfast one morning with homemade croissants, veggie omelet and fresh fruit. Everything about this place was perfect and above what I expected. I'm anxious to return when I can enjoy the new outside sauna just installed. You couldn't find a warmer more caring host then Bridgette! Thank you for a week of relaxation and recovery!

This property is exactly as described! It was so relaxing. We used all of the amenities- cold plunge, sauna, hot tub, steam shower, massage chair! Everything was setup beautifully, with such wonderful attention to detail. We cooked dinner in the outdoor kitchen, which was stocked with everything we needed to make our meal. I couldn’t be more thankful for the 3 days we spent together.

The property is nestled back into the woods which provides a secluded feel. The only important thing I would tell future visitors is that the suite is directly attached to the owner\'s home and may not provide the privacy expected. The amenities (sauna, hot tub, plunge pool, fire, and outdoor cook area) are all on a patio that is shared/adjacent to the owner\'s home. That being said, my partner and I still had a wonderful stay. The owner Brigitte welcomed us and showed us all the amenities and was available to answer any questions we had. The suite itself was very well set up for the "spa" feel. There is a minifridge and microwave, but if you want to cook anything you\'d have to use the firepit or outdoor kitchen. It was rainy the weekend we went so we ended up eating out more instead. We found a few local shops, restaurants, and a cat cafe that we really liked. There is also a trail nearby within walking distance.
