One Lux Stay HWH Downtown Los Angeles

Misled about parking, ! No one to greet or help because bender ck in did not work but tenant helped. Cold water at tub/shower and sink faucets the full stay no hot water , reply to my communications . Bathroom not handicap rated. We pay in advance and you did not provide the product I payed for

Really enjoyed the stay! Home was very clean and quiet! Rooftop pool is great place to relax! Gym has a variety of equipment. Check in and check out was very simple and easy! no problems at all throughout the stay everything went smooth! Definitely plan to book here again!

The apartment itself is nice. It’s roomy and accommodating. Our family of five had plenty of space to sleep, cook, eat and having 2 bathrooms was very convenient. However, the traffic outside is so loud. We heard people yelling from the streets, cars driving and backfiring and inexplicable banging noises at literally all hours of the night. Parking is in a lot behind the building and is only $12/day, but it expires at 6am, so we had to get up early every morning to pay for the day. The building is old, so the hot water took literally an hour to warm for a shower in the bathroom with 2 sinks. The other bathroom seemed fine. The building itself seems pretty quiet. We didn’t really see any other tenants. The rooftop access is really nice. There are pools, fire pits, a gym, ping pong table, foosball, grills, and a nice city view. All in all, it was a comfortable stay, close to Universal Studios, The Broad Museum, Angels Flight, shopping, dining and the freeway.

Pay Extra for a Chain if you can. The place had character. The onsite staff (1 guy was interesting). Do not walk barefoot. Cold shower, uneven beds, and very loud. There is some sort of night club on the street level. You can not come & go as you please. You must call a number and someone will come back from where they are and let you in the building. The pool had all sorts of dirt floating around. The blinds are not light proof and someone thought it was a good idea to hang lights outside each room window and keep them on all night. Our issues got a cleaner room, but the experience is one I would never repeat.

I had a great stay, the rooftop is amazing, it's close to the bars/ restaurants, the bed was comfortable and the shower is clean. Full kitchen with great coffee.

I had an amazing stay at OneLuxStay HWH Downtown. The suite was very nice, roomy and comfortable. The unit was spotless upon arrival. The rooftop pool is great for relaxing and hanging out. And the communication was very timely and helpful. Highly recommend!

Check in and communication was very easy and well done. Property is perfect location for us and has an awesome roof pool and gym. Highly reccomend!

Ii couldn't sleep party neighbor, front neighbor , two nights in arrow from 9 pm Until 6 am, no stop!!!, the location is good! Ammenities Dryer not working, raining days at lax travel back with some wet clothes.no hair dryer.furnitures and lamps not in good shape.

Great spot. Conveniently located in downtown, and the spacious bathtub and washing machine/dryer were a welcomed surprise.

Very nice space! We especially enjoyed the rooftop amenities! The streets are loud, which was expected for downtown LA. Highly recommend staying here.

Apartment was nice. Smelled like piss when entering the property, nice rooftop but no smoking at the top so lame we already not smoking in the apartment now we can’t smoke on the rooftop is insane. Would I go back probably not nor would I recommend staying there.

The room smelled like an ashtray when I checked in. They were able to have a cleaner come out the next morning but I had a migraine from the heavy smoke smell all night.

The property was in a nice location, but the apartment itself is in immediate need of some renovations, especially floors. The wooden part of the floor (kitchen and living area) was completely out of shape and with nails coming out of it. If they update that floor, I would consider staying again. Also the sofa was quite dirty with stains. We had to place a blanket over it :(.

I arrived to the unit to find that there was a floor unit air conditioner with the hose connected to the window. This called for the window to be open all the time. Lots of dust, debris, and allergies. Also discovered a massive leak that had filled the storage in master unit. Been cleaned up, but stil showed black mold and water damage. Closet doors screwed shut to prevent access to further damaged no

Very nasty and dirty . Checking was 3:pm but as at 3:30pm the were still cleaning the room. The smell so bad which made me not to check inn and rather looked for a hotel nearby. I will not recommend family especially with kids. Do not stay

Totally not a Luxury Stay. Had no idea we be staying in such a run down establishment with loud residents blasting music.would not recommend this at all for family’s.

This is not a regular hotel. There is no lobby check-in, no room cleaning, no room service, no hotel sign. The address is very confusing: The actual entrance is not what is shown on Expedia nor Google Maps, and is around the corner from the listed address. There is no outside sign to help us. When we got in, there is no person at lobby. The manager got out of elevator 5 minute later. The manager wanted us to text him, no phone call. But he often does not get back, the quickest reply is 30 minutes later. I guess he stays somewhere 45 minutes away from the property. After he texted me that he was coming, he showed up 45 minutes later. The WIFI instructions were wrong. We could not make it work. The manager helped on that. The bathroom lacks storage place. No countertop, no wall cabinet, no shelves next to the sink. The kitchen faucet water lines were connected wrong. hot and cold got reversed. The rooms are clean. Weekend nights are noisy. The loud noise on Saturday night lasted until 3am.

Only small window ac for the whole apartment. Nothing like picture at all. The furniture is old and dingy. When I called about the AC, I was told that it AC is sufficient for the unit. Were left and had to go to another motel. They retro cancel even though I bought the insurance. So, I ate the $900 they charged me and then the cost of a motel. I’m sorry I didn’t take pictures.

It's my second time here, and I don't want to recommend about this place bc if more people come they will raise their prices, which as for now are very reasonable and it's much better then a hotel room in my opinion. Full kitchen, washing machine, clean fun and comfortable. Don't come here, I want availability and the same price on my next visit here ;) .

Communication was bad, responsibilities of employees completely unclear. Key never worked at the front door. Even after checking out at 8am in the morning I get messages that the door is locked and the cleaners need to get in. If things don’t work out as planned don’t expect anyone to resolve it. Not what we expected, would not recommend.

BEWARE. We were in town for our sister's wedding and thought this looked like an upscale, comfortable and updated apartment that was within a block of the wedding venue. Boy were we wrong!!! As a guest in this building you are given a key fob that only works to access your actual apartment. NOT the building. You have to wait to be buzzed in every time after you leave and come back. The outside area is filthy and the sidewalks have human feces and urine everywhere. There is a ring camera doorbell on the outside of the unit so someone knows when you are coming/going. We felt as though our belongings were not safe and we could be robbed while attending the wedding events. Additionally, while inside the apartment, there is no deadbolt or latch to keep people from coming in. The window coverings did not have black out shades so it was bright inside even at night. The paint/tile, furniture and overall craftsmanship was very poor. Washer is a front loader and was moldy. Cell phones have spotty service inside the building. Overall it was a terrible experience and I would never recommend it!

* the space did not look anything like the photos on line * the TV remote control was not working * the entrance seemed under construction * the was a dog barking several hours and it was difficult to sleep * I never found the keys for the room although I texted * the air freshner in the living room was too strong for my nose
