Stayed 2 nights

We don’t get away often. This place was the only one that allowed pets last minute for Labor Day so we took it based on the pictures. Well we got there after 9pm (7 hour drive) it was dark we drove by it at first. The first impression was Oh my God!!! We walked into cobwebs turned on the lights and one bedroom two bunks on bed- we brought our dog sitter so she could stay while we rode our side by side. Dirty windows, dirty air conditioner, dirty ceiling fan, hair in the shower. The futon needs repair the mattress is full of holes and the cover was filthy the rug smelled and was filthy too!! We cleaned up the best we could so we could sleep. The morning we could see the river we have a lab so she and the sitter had fun down there. It was a steep walk. We had fun on our side by side but will not book here again. The cabins are failing and need lots of work! We love the outdoors we spend multiple weeks a year snowmobiling in winter with 20 people so it’s not like we don’t know the area. We made a fun time in a not so comfortable environment.

Stayed 2 nights

I booked a unit which has a loft and they moved me to a smaller one without ever telling me. So, someone had to sleep on the futon which was disgusting and so uncomfortable it’s not suitable for sleeping (needs a new mattress). There were no sheets for it either. The place was relatively clean except for REALLY gross carpet and one thing that is inexcusable. There was rat poop in the silverware drawer and in the pots/pans. The back deck is fantastic but I would still never stay here again!

Beautiful spot within view of the fork in the river with the gentle sound of moving water. The cabin has everything you need for a relaxed stay including an outdoor grill and fire pit. If you don’t feel like cooking, The Inn if the River is a quick walk just across the street and they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. We will stay here again when we return to the area.
