The motel (each room has an external first floor door) was reasonably comfortable, but not anything like what I expected. The description says restaurant and casino. There is neither at the hotel. No casino nearby. Best I could tell there are only two restaurants (sort of) in the area. In town there is a smoke filled bar that maybe serves food, but we didn't stay. Down the hill from the motel there is a diner that does not serve alcohol. The description also says free breakfast. There was coffee in the lobby (if you are lucky enough for the office to be open).

This property is exemplary in every aspect-from the beautiful grounds replete with many plants and flowers to the unique decor in the room. From the wall-mounted cast metal coat rack to the headboards which are made from wood slabs cut from local forests to the beautiful handmade oak credenza this is a truly amazing room. Totally beautiful and beyond satisfactory in every way. This is THE place to stay near Emlenton, PA!! Would give this place 10 stars if I could. Can’t say enough about my stay here- except it was only for 1 night. Be sure to check out the pics of the room online! They were the reason I stayed here. I hope you will enjoy your stay as much as I did!!!

I travel for work as the last few years seen places getting worse and more money to stay. The stay here was well worth the money relaxing and quiet couldn’t hear any other guest or outside noises. The facilitie was clean.

You wouldn't expect this hotel to be nice given that it's right in the middle of nowhere and by a truck stop. But this community cares a lot about giving you a safe, clean place to stop for truckers and travelers. The room was clean, spacious, and you get a free breakfast at the diner at the end of the road. There is a cool disc golf course at the hotel too!

Was pleasantly surprised by how updated and nice the room was. They had coffee and some snacks in the lobby. Had a fire pit we sat around that night but you do have to supply your own wood. Would definitely stay here again

Newly remodeled and super cozy roadside motel. Right off the interstate. A Japanese Cherry tree flowering in the front. A frisbee golf course. There’s a sasquatch theme. I’ll probably stay here again. The lady at the front desk was super nice. They give you a voucher for $5 per person at the truck stop restaurant down the hill which was surprisingly good.

A little tricky to locate, as you must pass through a truck stop to get to the hotel, but a worthwhile surprise. First, the location was a perfect midpoint on our drive from NJ to Detroit. You then open the door to the room to find unique rustic furnishings from a local maker. The room was very clean and quiet even though overlooking I80. Definitely an excellent stopover at a property that is pridefully maintained. The final bonus was the hotel’s dining certificates covering the cost of an excellent breakfast at the Plaza Restaurant down the hill.

I cannot say enough great things about my stay at the Travelodge - Emlenton, PA. This facility was recently renovated and is so darn cute following its completion. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Although located near the I-80 Turnpike, the room was very quiet. Their beds& pillows are very comfortable.

We slept here twice on our way back and forth to Erie. Very convenient. Right off Route 80. Very clean. Friendly staff. And a great restaurant nearby which is run by the same family that owns the travel lodge. It also serves as a truck stop. Great place for shopping.

Rooms very clean. We had 2 rooms Lots of pillows and towels. Comfy beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. As no continental breakfast got coupons for our breakfast at the restaurant which was great! Breakfast had great options. Gas station was right there as well. Everything had easy access for our needs for our 3 night stay.

This motel exceeded my expectations! I love that it is a throwback to the old school motor lodges. I mean, that's what it was and in a way still is. However, it has been very nicely upgraded. The rooms are clean with cool cabin theming. The bed was super comfortable. Staff was amazing. I love that you get a 10$ voucher for breakfast (which was delicious). If you need a clean, comfortable room for the night, look no further!

What a gem! The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The furniture, hooks, chairs, decor were well thought out and it was a great place to stay. Breakfast voucher for the diner at the truck stop was perfect. You are right by a highway. Trucker noise is more noticeable when you check in. It was much quieter with nightfall. No trouble sleeping. I would highly recommend. The staff was very friendly.

The rooms were redecorated in a nice way; however, the overwhelming, nasty stale smell from decades of smoking is something that a coat of paint will never fix. It smelled so bad and reminded me of the cheap motels my family stayed in back in the 70s when everybody smoked. Also the bathroom door was not able to close. It remained opened about two inches at best. The bedcovers were strange. There was a sheet and a bedspread that had the texture of a plastic tablecloth

This old motor lodge has been completely remodeled in the last few years with cabin-inspired decor that suites the surroundings. The furniture is all locally made with hardwoods and live-edge headboards. The room was completely quite even though it’s right next to I-80. The included breakfast is actually a voucher for the local diner, which serves excellent classic breakfast combos.

Refrigerator was broken, cracks in ac unit you can see outside, window in bathroom knobs were broken and sitting in window! Room smelled like hospital and a surprise security deposit of additional $150.00! Whole experience horrible never again

I did not expect this hotel to be so nice. A+++ from staff friendliness to being understanding on late check in (around midnight). The rooms were EXCELLENT, clean, and totally renovated. Everyone should stay here.

Was was very accommodating and friendly , rooms were clean and updated for the price when I told my family that’s were we were staying they only had bad things to say about the past owners and I ended up convincing them to check it out. The next night 3 other rooms were booked by my family. I will book again when I come to the area shout out to the young guy and lady at the front end who took care of all my needs.

The check in was easy. They did put a $100 charge on my card for incidentals. This is located in a heavy truck area and I was put in a room close to the freeway. It was loud with truck traffic and you could feel the rumbling in the room. I’m a light sleeper, and after being on the road with lots of construction, I didn’t not appreciate the truck noise. The free breakfast was a $10 voucher towards the restaurant down the drive from the hotel. I did not want to dine with a bunch of truck drivers. So, I didn’t use it.

Charming and much nicer than the hotel name might suggest. Staff were terrific. Place was spotless. Restaurant nearby was hearty and delicious. GREAT shower. The highway nearby is occasionally noisy but not disruptive to sleep. VERY convenient for rail trail, winery and arts center.

We slept here twice on our way back and forth to Erie. Very convenient. Right off Route 80. Very clean. Friendly staff. And a great restaurant nearby which is run by the same family that owns the travel lodge. It also serves as a truck stop. Great place for shopping.

Newly remodeled and super cozy roadside motel. Right off the interstate. A Japanese Cherry tree flowering in the front. A frisbee golf course. There’s a sasquatch theme. I’ll probably stay here again. The lady at the front desk was super nice. They give you a voucher for $5 per person at the truck stop restaurant down the hill which was surprisingly good.

This motel exceeded my expectations! I love that it is a throwback to the old school motor lodges. I mean, that's what it was and in a way still is. However, it has been very nicely upgraded. The rooms are clean with cool cabin theming. The bed was super comfortable. Staff was amazing. I love that you get a 10$ voucher for breakfast (which was delicious). If you need a clean, comfortable room for the night, look no further!

What a gem! The room was very spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The furniture, hooks, chairs, decor were well thought out and it was a great place to stay. Breakfast voucher for the diner at the truck stop was perfect. You are right by a highway. Trucker noise is more noticeable when you check in. It was much quieter with nightfall. No trouble sleeping. I would highly recommend. The staff was very friendly.

Property was clean staff was great ! Only thing is I think the rooms could use microwaves ! ( they do provide one in check in area ). Room where very clean fire pit was nice . We really enjoyed our stay . Breakfast at the restaurant down hill was excellent !

This old motor lodge has been completely remodeled in the last few years with cabin-inspired decor that suites the surroundings. The furniture is all locally made with hardwoods and live-edge headboards. The room was completely quite even though it’s right next to I-80. Rooms very clean. We had 2 rooms Lots of pillows and towels. Comfy beds. Staff very friendly and helpful. As no continental breakfast got coupons for our breakfast at the restaurant which was great! Breakfast had great options. Gas station was right there as well. Everything had easy access for our needs for our 3 night stay.

We were pleased with this hotel in every possible way. Clean, comfortable, quiet, nice staff, and a great value. The $10 per person voucher for breakfast at the truck stop restaurant was awesome and the food was so delicious! It was convenient for dinner the night before too. If we are ever in the area again, we will definitely stop.
