Very central and good value property with nice gardens and friendly staff. Looks a bit run-down in areas, especially by the pool with many cracked and broken slabs, some of which have dangerous, sharp edges. My bathroom had an unpleasant smell and the rooms are poorly insulated for noise. However, all things considered it's a good resort for the price.

Hotel grounds are gorgeous. If you have any accessibility needs it may not be a good fit for you as there are some steep parts of the resort and there’s a bit of walking to do to get around to the pool, etc. Really awesome location though! My room is as a bit on the older side but met my needs for a quick and basic stay.

A beautiful resort conveniently located near Monkey forest and Ubud Art market. The staff was excellent and very helpful, especially the man who checked us in. The resort includes a very serene spa and pool. Breakfast is limited but still very delcious.

La amabilidad y disposición del personal es excelente. El baño limpio y funcional, al igual que la habitación. El hotel súper céntrico, caminando a pocos metros están las principales atracciones de Ubud (Sacred Monkey Forest, Palacio de Ubud, Templo Saraswat, Mercado de Ubud). Muchísimas opciones de restaurantes, tiendas, mini súper, etc…. Aunque está sobre una de las principales calles de Ubud, el hotel es un lugar de relajamiento total, muy tranquilo, lleno de áreas verdes. Lo único con lo que hay que tener cuidado, es con lo resbaladizo del suelo, principalmente si ha llovido, ya que hay varias pendientes muy pronunciadas, pero hay algunas escaleras para poder evitar pasar por algunas de las pendientes. El desayuno adecuado. El servicio de Spa, muy bueno y a muy buen precio. El hotel es una excelente opción, la relación calidad-precio, buenísima.

The place was handy with access to both the busy street on the east and the quieter street on the west. great spot to explore monkey forest and the rice fields from. The bed sheets and towels are stained but looked clean-ish.

I stayed at Pertiwi Resort & Spa in Ubud for 4 nights and really enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere. The resort is surrounded by lush greenery and the place feels very relaxing and close to nature. The location is perfect - right in the heart of Ubud, yet quiet and peaceful. The room was clean and spacious, with a nice view of the garden. I particularly liked the pool area and the traditional Balinese design of the resort. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The breakfast was good, although there is room for improvement in the variety. Overall, it was a great stay and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, natural retreat in Ubud.

The staffs are not friendly except 1 young lady in the lobby. Most of the staffs did not smile and expected a tip even though they didn’t do a good job. The room had a lot of bugs, and the bathroom had leakage. Online advertised no fee for extra bed, but we were charged for it when we got there.

Impeccable garden and walkways between buildings. However in dire need of major facility upgrade. First room we got was terrible, mold stench coupled with sewer smell from below and smoke from next door. Wanted to cancel the 2nd day and move to a different hotel but the staff gave us an upgrade to a more spacious, well-lit room. Stayed two nights in total. Beautiful gardens and friendly staff

The staff are kind and the villa garden is beautiful, but the rooms are the opposite. During the entirety of our stay, we had issues regarding the cleanliness and condition of our room. Bedding was old and never changed, towels/bedding had stains or smells, and the room was much more run down compared to the listing. In the end, we left our stay at Pertiwi a week early due to the above reasons. The villa had agreed to issue a refund for the unused nights for a fee but have since stopped replying to emails and calls completely, leaving me unable to receive a refund. Save your money and don't book here unless you want to be dissapointed.

Pros: Great price, beautiful property, amazing pool/poolside area and delicious breakfast (for price). Excellent location, on main road, close to main attractions. Friendly staff. Cons: took one star off bc room was not as clean as we would’ve liked. Also, our room was loud at night since it was right next to bar (but not all rooms were loud). Overall would recommend (especially at that price)!

We booked 3 night stay here as the reviews we good Location of the hotel is excellent fir walking around most of Ubud There is late night noise from the bars until midnight with live music if your room is located close to reception Lots of stairs to access the property too even if you book a ground floor room The rooms are basic with a tv from circa 1999 Wifi intermitente and poor signal strength- difficult if you need to get some work done The rooms are very old fashioned and a little run down They were not the cleanest we have stayed in either We Gad to was all the glasses and cups before we could use them Bath had no plug and didn’t drain properly Sockets in bath are all loose on the walls Large hone above the Aircon unit so not secure against bugs Large pool area at bottom of the property a bit of a walk uphill on way back Lots of monkeys in the morning so watch your belongings Overall a nice trip but let down by the property condition

Excellent choice for the value, great location with access to Jalan monkey forest and bisma. Friendly helpful staff. One issue with the room was resolved immediately. Highly recommend a visit. We had a single bed villa with pool, great private place to relax.

The property was very nice and well located, but the rooms are average. Bathrooms could use some renovations and the rooms need a bit more decoration. There were no towels at all when I arrived and it took over 2 h to receive them. The internet wasn’t working well and my room was next to a loud bar… so location good but disappointed by the rest.

So disappointing… The one bedroom villas are quite pricey, but we are willing to pay for them. However, this has been the worst we’ve seen in Bali. We used the photos and text in Expedia as a guide to deciding to stay there. When checking into the villa for night one we had significant problems. No outdoor furniture on the balcony, missing sunbeds, no lounge as shown, no kettle, TV didn’t work, blinds were broken so didn’t close properly, no in room safe as advertised, no glasses. And bizarrely the fridge was in a cupboard and not plugged in, because there was no hole in the back of the cupboard for the cable to go through, so the cable couldn’t reach the plug. So we have to pull out the fridge and move it across the room to plug it in. Initially reception said “our marketing team must have had the old photos up”. Given we booked 3 months earlier, clearly not true. We suspect the villas were booked out and they just gave us one that was unfinished, hoping we wouldn’t complain. We were moved to a new villa the next day. All of the above problems or items missing were there. However…. Initially we noticed the safe was locked so we couldn’t store our valuables. Reception said they would solve but never did in the remaining three nights. So we didn’t tell them of the other issues as it was clear they didn’t care much. I made this reservation based on the advertisement that the booked room had a private pool. Considering the price of the room per day, it was worth it. Upon check in when I arrive at the room, there was no private pool at all (2nd floor room). Called the reception and the lady said that "might be an error".... no partial refund, no conversation at all. A room with a private pool and a standar room with no pool have completely different rates. So it was a completely scam what was offered. I would never stay in this place again and I would never recommend to anyone.

Great staff. A real open lobby, a beautiful large bedroom with patio. Wake up to monkeys around you since you’re next door to the Monkey Forest ❤️. The pool is incredible and so is the breakfast and massage areas. You feel like you’re in the jungle but 2 minute walk towards the lobby and you’re on the Main Street. Great location. All staff smile and great you all day long. You’ll love it 👌

So disappointing… The one bedroom villas are quite pricey, but we are willing to pay for them. However, this has been the worst we’ve seen in Bali. We used the photos and text in Expedia as a guide to deciding to stay there. When checking into the villa for night one we had significant problems. No outdoor furniture on the balcony, missing sunbeds, no lounge as shown, no kettle, TV didn’t work, blinds were broken so didn’t close properly, no in room safe as advertised, no glasses. And bizarrely the fridge was in a cupboard and not plugged in, because there was no hole in the back of the cupboard for the cable to go through, so the cable couldn’t reach the plug. So we have to pull out the fridge and move it across the room to plug it in. Initially reception said “our marketing team must have had the old photos up”. Given we booked 3 months earlier, clearly not true. We suspect the villas were booked out and they just gave us one that was unfinished, hoping we wouldn’t complain. We were moved to a new villa the next day. All of the above problems or items missing were there. However…. Initially we noticed the safe was locked so we couldn’t store our valuables. Reception said they would solve but never did in the remaining three nights. So we didn’t tell them of the other issues as it was clear they didn’t care much. The staff are kind and the villa garden is beautiful, but the rooms are the opposite. During the entirety of our stay, we had issues regarding the cleanliness and condition of our room. Bedding was old and never changed, towels/bedding had stains or smells, and the room was much more run down compared to the listing. In the end, we left our stay at Pertiwi a week early due to the above reasons. The villa had agreed to issue a refund for the unused nights for a fee but have since stopped replying to emails and calls completely, leaving me unable to receive a refund. Save your money and don't book here unless you want to be dissapointed.

We booked 3 night stay here as the reviews we good Location of the hotel is excellent fir walking around most of Ubud There is late night noise from the bars until midnight with live music if your room is located close to reception Lots of stairs to access the property too even if you book a ground floor room The rooms are basic with a tv from circa 1999 Wifi intermitente and poor signal strength- difficult if you need to get some work done The rooms are very old fashioned and a little run down They were not the cleanest we have stayed in either We Gad to was all the glasses and cups before we could use them Bath had no plug and didn’t drain properly Sockets in bath are all loose on the walls Large hone above the Aircon unit so not secure against bugs Large pool area at bottom of the property a bit of a walk uphill on way back Lots of monkeys in the morning so watch your belongings Overall a nice trip but let down by the property condition

La amabilidad y disposición del personal es excelente. El baño limpio y funcional, al igual que la habitación. El hotel súper céntrico, caminando a pocos metros están las principales atracciones de Ubud (Sacred Monkey Forest, Palacio de Ubud, Templo Saraswat, Mercado de Ubud). Muchísimas opciones de restaurantes, tiendas, mini súper, etc…. Aunque está sobre una de las principales calles de Ubud, el hotel es un lugar de relajamiento total, muy tranquilo, lleno de áreas verdes. Lo único con lo que hay que tener cuidado, es con lo resbaladizo del suelo, principalmente si ha llovido, ya que hay varias pendientes muy pronunciadas, pero hay algunas escaleras para poder evitar pasar por algunas de las pendientes. El desayuno adecuado. El servicio de Spa, muy bueno y a muy buen precio. El hotel es una excelente opción, la relación calidad-precio, buenísima.

A estadia foi ótima. O hotel é bem localizado e os passeios foram incríveis. Infelizmente, não tem água mineral liberada, eles só colocam 2 garrafas de 250ml por dia, o resto tem que pagar. Comprei garrafas de 1,5l no mercado. As amenidades de banho não são repostas. O café da manhã é ruim. Tomei meu café da manhã numa cafeteira ao lado do hotel.

LITERALLY EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT! Right in the heart of Ubud, staff was AMAZING suksma!! Breakfast was perfect banana pancakes were spectacular and pesto pasta was delicious. Room was spectacular loved our own pool, we even had a gorgeous pond outside of our room. Thank goodness for mosquito net around your bed. The staff went out their way to make us happy so many times! Even if we didn't get room cleaning they still brought us towels and water bottles every day! I will forsure go back to this resort one day. Miss it immensly, boujee on a budget! Perfect hotel

Wir hatten einen guten Aufenthalt in Pertiwi Resort & Spa. Wir waren in einer der Villen mit eigenem Pool. Die Einrichtung ist schön, neu und gepflegt. Das Haus an sich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die WhatsApp Nummer auf der Homepage müsste dringend ausgetauscht werden. Eine Kontaktaufnahme war weder über die Nummer, die Email noch die Kontaktanfrage möglich. Das Personal war freundlich. Frühstücksbuffet mit großer und guter Auswahl.

A beautiful resort conveniently located near Monkey forest and Ubud Art market. The staff was excellent and very helpful, especially the man who checked us in. The resort includes a very serene spa and pool. Breakfast is limited but still very delcious.

Lovely, all good. but not having a smart tv is a bit derelict in 2026. It’s surprising. We also stayed in a cheaper place nearby and it had a smart tv with Netflix. Good if you get Bali belly and have to stay in a few days.
