The Bee Hotel is a pleasant and very unique stay in Danville, VA. Offering free continental breakfast, 24 hour fitness room, modern designs in each room and a spectacular view of the city from the rooftop. Parking is limited with street parking and a dedicated lot in the vicinity. My only warning to those who are handicapped or have mobility issues is to make sure you book a room with elevator access because otherwise the stairs could present a problem. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Hotel was very nice. Parking was a disaster. Had to park blocks from hotel and carry your luggage on unlevel walkways to the hotel. There was limited parking on the street near the hotel, but that was 2 hour parking until after 6pm. For someone that has limitations it would be a nightmare.

Everything was perfect. My wife and I will be staying at the Bee Hotel every time we go back to Danville. I can not think of one negative thing to say about the Bee Hotel. Everything was 100 percent clean. Early in the evening it was a bit cool and my wife and I loved sitting at the lit fire pit on the roof. Both the roof with the kitchen and the courtyard are great. The employees are very friendly and helpful.

The Bee Hotel is so special. It is beautiful, has history, attention to detail and above and beyond rooms. The rooms has a large closet with a door, walk in shower, ceiling fan over the bed, full kitchen with the basics in the cupboards and drawers, living room and a real foyer, just like a condo. To enjoy the hi8story and city, there is artwork depicting both and a couple books on the area with a magnifying glass in a tray on the coffee table. We really enjoyed that. I heard no neighbors. The hotel has an elevator, nooks with items from the buildings history, plenty of street parking on two sides of the hotel, plus a lot for parking one short block up. There are two outside spaces. One is a sweet, large patio and the other a roof deck. They have bicycles for the guests. You are walking distance to a lot. The staff couldn't have been nicer. 100% were so eager to help you with a smile on their face. We were happy with the Bee Hotel and will stay there again.

The rooms were great! plenty of room and the beds were very comfortable, the check-in process was simple, and everyone was very easy to talk to and answered all of questions about local places to see and visit. Even Patricia the cleaning women the gentleman who was cleaning the floors were very helpful! take a walk around this historic hotel, because it has plenty too offer, roof top deck and courtyard setup was very cool! We definitely will be back!

This is our 2nd stay here. It’s an outstanding repurpose of the old newspaper building in a historic part of Danville. Good places to eat within walking distance of this boutique hotel. The beds are great and the rooms are spacious. Beautiful top of roof patio and work out room. Parking is on the streets so you might have to circle the block a little.

Very nice hotel. The stairwell was slippery and I fell due to it being slippery and injured my arm and my knee. I have not heard back from the hotel manager or hospitality sevices yet. There was also someone who fell on the property that morning.

My son and I stayed here to attend a Virginia International Raceway event. Everything about our stay was perfect. The rooms were large, meticulously clean, and well equipped with great WiFi. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location.

The suite was much larger than expected and very reasonable priced. The shower was amazing with plenty of hot water, which has been challenging to find in my recent travels. The staff was outstanding. I left my coat behind so I called to make them aware. I was on the phone for maybe 30 seconds and received it the very next day. Extremely efficient, another rarity in today's world!

Fantastic hotel in downtown Danville. We stayed in the Queen Bee suite and were very pleased. The Front Office Manager went above and beyond to help me with some surprises for my friend’s 50th birthday. Would definitely recommend!

Very interesting historic building with a city park right next door and very close to the River District with pubs and restaurants. In town to check out the new Ceasars Casino. The roof top veranda is set up with tables and umbrella and has a beautiful view of the Dan River and the River District Warehouses.

We stayed at the Bee on a Sunday evening and were able to park on the street but there is no onsite parking. Also, everything in downtown Danville, including restaurants, is closed on Sunday evenings and this location is inconvenient for a Sunday evening. Otherwise, the hotel and room were fine

Nicely renovated downtown hotel with large rooms. One thing that I really appreciate is that the walk in showers have the shower faucet on the opposite side of the shower head. Lets you set water temperature without getting wet! Ceiling fans are fantastic too. Better than the typical corporate big name hotel in many ways. Does not have food yet, so that's a minus. Parking is around the corner so a short half block walk from your car.
