Could have been more room amenities and food

Sinks don’t work, bugs in the room, filthy bathroom and the people running this motel do not care at all about this place

There needed to be more amenities and There was no ice as well as there was no hot water I had to ask for the hot water to be turned on

The people working there were great but this is a low-budget motel. It’s been remodeled and the rooms were decent with clean sheets and pillows. Floor was slippery from where they cleaned it and the A/C was wonky but it worked. If you’re a guy traveling alone or with buddies then this might work for you but probably not the best place for a lady with kids even though I had zero issues. For the price, you get what you pay for but I’d stay again.

I need a budget friendly place to book on Tuesday in Johnson City for Thursday night and I got this place. I booked before reading reviews and the reviews really scared me. But i braved it and lodged there and it wasn't that bad. They have old furniture and beddings but they are clean. My room has new bath and toilet installed. There is a TV, a refrigerator and a microwave which are all useful

It was a place that catered to homeless using vouchers. There were lots of people hanging out in front of their doors and on the stairs, smoking, that you had to walk thru. Smelly. Our towells were all stained and well worn. Hot water only on the 3rd day in the shower. Our sheets were stained. One even had blue paint spatters on it. But it never felt unsafe and it wad very conveniently located. I was there 3 nights. And wifi did not work in our room. And ice machine couldn't keep up with demand. Room smelled smoky. Looked like recently renovated but it was poorly done. Cheap mattresses. But what did I expect for that price. I'll pay more money next time to stay elsewhere. Mostly due to the smokers, everything else I can deal with.

Pros large refridgerator, large shower, large trash can in room, employee at check in and front

No heat, no hot water, tv messed up, no toiletries, and the bed was filthy

We stayed bc it was a last minute booking due to family first night room wasn't bad but scary for sure . The 2ed night we stayed had to clean the room ourselves even bathroom just to use it and shower and the water ran all night no heat no TV and no locks on the door we was scared to death this place should be shut down not only that a roach bug fall on me when I was trying to get some sleep and the workers was rude and very disrespectful .. I contacted health department .. bc this place is unsafe and shouldn't be open for ppl to stay we was in room207 ppl run and run fast ... If I could give it a 0 * I would ..

The room had roaches, there was blood in the sink and on the ceiling. When i told the guy at the desk he said, it was from rust in the sink and paint peeling on the ceiling. The heat didnt work, so the guy gave me a plug up heater which flipped the breaker twice and he refused to give me another room or refund my money. I left and will never go back.

I wish they had done a better job deodorizing and cleaning my room. It was obviously used as a smoking room and rented out as a non-smoking room. The room stank of tobacco odors and there were cigarette ashes on the floor behind the dresser unit between the beds.

They room was dirty there was blood spots on pillow cases and sheets with urine stains on sheets there was roaches in the rooms the microwave and refrigerator was both dirty there was no ice machine on site and NO HOT WATER at all highly recommend find another place to stay the pictures of hotel was nice but that's not what you get when u get there

The "non smoking" room reeked of cigarette smoke, there was ash from a cigarette in the toilet bowl, and somebody's jacketvwas hanging on the back of the bathroom door. I was given a full refund and spent the night elsewhere.

Cigarette ash and holes in the comforter. Bugs dead and alive. Bathroom had hair in it, on toilet. I didn’t mind the visual of rehab project. We had soap, shampoo towels and the beds were fine. No leaks, water in shower fine. Toilet worked fine. Check in/out was easy.

This place is horrible. Do NOT stay here. The room was mold infested. Service is bad. It’s so hot in the rooms and reeks of cigarettes. It’s just dirty and gross. Go literally anywhere else. This motel should be shut down.

The place was nasty and had cockroaches. The health inspector would probably condemn the property. Electrical covers missing. An extension cord was hanging from the ceiling light that didn’t work. The toilet run most of the night. The drapes were halfway down. The ceiling was extremely dirty with cigarette burns. Nails in the walls. Baseboards were extremely dirty.

The floors were filthy, underside of the mattress covered with dirt between it and boxspring. No tub to wash children. Roaches all over place, killed a couple dozen. Drunken boisterous idiots most of the night outside door. Reserved two twin beds and basically forced into a king size bed for 4 people. I would not even recommend this for homeless people.

When we turned the bathroom light on the roaches started running. I was there for a surgery the next morning and we didn't sleep a wink. The lamp shades had glitter on them from a previous guest and names written in sharpie on the bed. We paid $157 for one night to be woken up by someone threatening to stab another person. I should have paid the extra 200 for the other hotel. This was also during hurricane Helene and people were looking for places to stay safe and clean. This definitely wasn't the place. Oh yes, the black mold on the ceiling, used toilettries and the toilet seat with period blood left over was an was an added bonus. Nasty room. If it weren't for having back surgery we would have slept in the car on an air mattress.

1 star rooms. Stains, graffiti, and unkept rooms

This property did not have doors that locked. We could see the outside through the door frame. We did not feel safe here. Literally slept with all of our valuables in our pockets.

Very nasty & unsafe had to stay because there was nowhere else to stay on race weekend. Door won't close all the way, also had a key style lock. I wouldn't recommend anyone staying here!!

Property advertised as recently remodeled rooms. Property was being cleared out but not remodeled, it was very old and run down. Room had bugs and door barely closed. Looked like homeless people and vagrants living in first floor rooms. Had to find other accommodations because it was so bad. I will never use Expedia again if this is the way they review their accommodations before placing on their website. I'm 68 years old and stayed in many hotels, motels and condos in my life and this was, by far, my worst experience ever.

Bed was clean and comfortable. TV was huge w/many channel options. AC worked great. I probably took the hottest shower ever. Ty. Only disappointments were, had to use tissue and take bubble gum off wall and pick up beer top. Curtains would not close shut. As a female this is important to me. Solved problem w/duct tape I had in car. Ok for price.

You get what you pay for. My door barely locked, there was literally 1/4" gap between the door and the door jam. Curtains did not block out hardly any light so the room never got dark to sleep. This is a very run down place, but was the cheapest i found.

...i asked for a non-smoking room, as soon as i opened the door got hit with a strong smell of cigarettes, they were very brown sticky stains on the sheets and towels, and i saw baby cockroachs in the bathroom, and at night kept hearing banging and shouting next and downstairs

Really unfortunate experience. I expected a dinky motel for the price, I’m not too particular. All I ask is that a room is reasonably clean, safe, and functional. I booked a non-smoking room for 6 nights. The first room they checked me into had cigarette burn marks in the bedside table and the comforter. I asked for a different room and they kindly showed me a few options, all of which still smelled like smoke, and had stains and/or burns, crumbs on the bed, etc. It was late and I didn’t have another option so I chose the least smelly room. I ended up bringing in some blankets from my car to sleep on to avoid the smell of the sheets. The deadbolt on the door did not work. The tv was large but had no picture, only audio. There was trash and crumbs on the floor, bathroom counter was sticky. There were multiple dead bugs. There was a small hole in the wall that lead directly outside. Sheets and towels were stained as well. All that being said, I was fine paying for the one night as I did chose to stay there, fair is fair. However, I did not feel comfortable staying there another night. I explained my concerns to the front desk and asked them to adjust their charge in my card from 6 nights to just the one and they refused. I’ll now have to dispute the charges with my bank which is annoying. Someone looking to rent a room for this cheap isn’t expecting a 5 or even 2 star experience but this was extremely disappointing. Do not believe the photos, they are very outdated

Staff is amazing

When I got there the staff seemed to not know what was going on with my reservation. There was a employee in the lobby arguing with a former employee about her last pay check. The member that checked me in sent me to an occupied room then when I finally was given a unoccupied room the contrition was horrendous. There was a gap in the door that with the door shut and locked there was a gap so large that I could see out of the room There was a hole in the bathroom wall that you could see clear into the maintenance cavity between the rooms there was a stain on the bed and the floor was damaged in several spots. There was also no smoke detector In the room Overall it is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in I booked two nights and ended up not staying the second night

Staff wanted me to pay when I went through auto pay to get the room

The manager on hand was friendly and laid back. Real nice guy. I don't know whose cleaning but their getting over on him. I didn't have a problem after I cleaned up. My dog got to stay with me for a good price. If they were to deep clean better as well as some of the riff raff that are in an out, it has potential!

The customer service was great

Too quite a while at 3pm for someone to open the lobby door so I could check in. There was graffiti on the bathroom door in the room, and no trash can. Also, I apparently woke up the front desk person at 7:30 and he asked me to come back in ten minutes to check out.

Check in staff was very friendly. Most of the residents who checked in later that afternoon appeared to be on the sketchy / criminal side. Check out was terrible, the owner just glared and wouldn't even speak.

Place is a dump we slept in the car in the parking lot until the druggies in the parking lot convinced us to leave

It was in a bad part of town and had to wait out in the cold for 30 minutes just for a room

Felt like I wasn’t in the safest neighborhood. Rooms need serious maintenance and updating. You get what you pay for.

Wr didnt even go into our room. I paid for the room ahead of time but after arriving we decided that we would rather drive somewhere else and sleep in our car. Very shady people hanging out on the ouside walkways and in the dark corridores. I am pretty sure that we witnessed a drug deal when we went back to our car.

We arrived to the property at about one AM after driving all day. Immediately we saw multiple vehicles on blocks in the parking lot, large crowds of people wondering around the parking lot, and what looked to be a bicycle graveyard near the check in. The check in “window” is as a 4 inch by 4 inch opening covered with plywood when not in use. Multiple people approached our vehicle while my spouse attempted to cancel the reservation. Not safe, do not stay here. 0/5 stars, terrible

It was a nice area. The staff was friendly could do without the neighbors screaming at each other for a good 45 mins

I wish I could make this up. We arrived at 2 a.m. to get some rest during our long drive from Tennessee to Maryland. When we pulled, the “front desk” worker was standing outside, staring at us, wearing only shorts—no shirt, no shoes, no problem, apparently. We went to the window to pay, and the office was filled with clutter—boxes and trash everywhere. The room was absolutely disgusting. The smell was horrible, there were holes all over the crappy blanket on the bed from cigarette burns, and there was graffiti on the inside of the front door! The lamp bulb was literally spray-painted red, the faucets were busted and spun without water. We walked in, looked around in complete shock, and then realized we were essentially trapped. A man had pulled up and started arguing with a woman about a drug deal, threatening her by claiming he was a "Blood." My wife and I were terrified and had to wait until the coast was clear before we could get the F out of there. We slept in our car in a Love’s gas station parking lot that night. This place needs to be shut down for sure. It’s not even called the Bravo Inn—when you pull up, it’s got a different name, and there’s just a piece of paper on the front desk window that says "Welcome to the Bravo Inn." What a shame.
