Property needs some up grade!

It was close to where we needed to go. Hotel not clean including room. Bad smells in room and hallways. It was very cheap and appeared that way. Next time I won’t be so cheap for better sleeping quarters. Didn’t use any other amenities. When we went to attached restaurant that is not affiliated with hotel, we sat where we could see the pool, it was very dirty. Glad we didn’t want to swim.

Was easy access from the highway. Parking area was clean. The room was clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the pool and sauna. Was able to work out in the gym. There was a wonderful resteraunt attached to the property. Enjoyed a lovely meal with my parents. Very nice location.

Last minute stay, the property is being redone so pool is down the room we had was redone and calming! Will stay again

The room was clean and service is fast and friendly. We asked for ice was fast in delivery. The hotel itself has been and looks like still in remodeling mode, but I was a little surprised that Wyndam has not put newer patio furniture out by the pool. What was there was in really bad shape.

Pool is an algae pond that had insects /frogs that keep guest up if they face that side. Repairs are being done but they aren’t cleaning rooms after them. Bathroom flooded with every shower. Breakfast was waffles in bowls or cereal from dirty containers. Bedding had burns in it. Widows are not sound proof so you hear traffic and trains all night.

Overall, the sleeping was comfortable. And we were only there to sleep. Has an outdoor pool that I would not be afraid to use and a great onsite restaurant , but it is not well marked, and hidden behind a fire door that gives the appearance of an employees only area, unless you notice the 8x10 paper sign on the wall. The halls were kept un-air conditioned (which is fine, that is just a moment of my time there). A/c in room worked just fine. But the condition of the building and the room was in poor health. Bathroom was not the dirtiest I have seen but still not clean enough to rent out. Looked like coffee splattered on the wall had been there for a very long time, and corners where grim filled. The shower head height came up to my nose, so I had to squat to be under the stream. I am 5’8”. A 6’ man would really struggle. The desk clerk would take his sweet time coming to the desk when I would ring the bell. Multiple minutes of waiting, when I could hear a tv playing behind the door he always came from. I always had to ring the bell more than once or twice to get a response. If I just needed a bed, I would stay again, the property has potential to be a great spot if someone spent the money and took the time to clean it up and repair the distressed condition

I was checked into a room on road side with high way noise. The door didn't shut properly i could see out side with door shut there was food down side of chair, food in floor under dresser & counter in bathroom. I was supposed to be a queen size bed was only full. They were in the middle of reinvocations, no restaurant or breakfast as advertised. Charged me $5.15 to up grade to room with king bed, when the room i had been put in was a full not a queen. Only spent enough time to shower sleep & leave next morning early! Will not stay there again & that used to be the best place to stay in Ft. Scott. pool was trashed.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Rooms were small but comfortable. Facility needed some attention check in area was cluttered with material not very pleasing.

The bathroom was very dirty, in the tub was an acrylic nail and the sink was dirty with beard hairs, the sheets smells rare between dirty and clean. Not sufficient toilet paper.👎👎

A good, basic hotel. Clean and comfortable.

We have stayed here before and this time the room was very nice. They have been updating rooms and it shows. Housekeeping could do a little better job . There was dust all over everything. Breakfast could be a little better, and they could offer coffee service a little longer. But it was well worth the price.

Old hotel in poor condition. Hotel interior, hallways and room had very noticeable musty smell. Hair dryer did not work. Desk clerk gave me a copy of receipt printed from printer that was out of ink and so faint could barely make out information. Will not return.

The place was filthy. The breakfast did not offer many options. I did not eat there.

Well the whole room was out dated and the bathroom was disgusting. The bed had bed bugs it was horrible

Excellent staff and clean accommodation

The toilet had a black ring around and the tub was disgusting with the area around the drain lifting up with a big raised crack. No way I would shower in it.

Bed was very comfortable. Check in person was very helpful.

The rooms a/c was off with it being 105 out. I’m not exaggerating when I say it took 4 hours for it to cool off enough to sleep.

Location to the event I was attending was close by. Shower was uncomfortable shower head too low for a person taller than six feet. Sink and shower were dirty, not cleaned very well. Confortor had places that looked like they had been burnt holes in it and then someone hand sewed them closed. At first we were given a smoking room which I had asked for non smoking. Then when I got to the first room the door wasn't even closed or locked. We got another room given to us. Later I asked for a room for my son. Because of his job he carries a pistol. He came late and managment called the cops. His badge and his credential he had on him. Finally go to his room and settled after midnight. Crazy night.

Lots of homeless around this area. Very noisy (can hear ALL vehicles) - however for the $65/night it was ok. Bed was nice- the AC units need updated- took a while to cool down

Rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff is super helpful. Breakfast is not the best but it does the trick. The hotel is right off of US69 and close to the rairoad, so it is noisy for a light sleeper lime myself. But overall a good stay and the price is great

It was fine, just not exceptional. The people were nice and friendly, but the rooms each had busted lampshades and the plugs were so loose that any tiny movement of the cord and the plug fell out. Breakfast = coffee and cereal. There is a good restaurant attached. Beds were clean and comfortable. Just needs some updates and TLC.

The only thing I had trouble with was shutting the door so it would lock and even latch shut

the innkeeper was fantastic, we had some minor glitches that were on us, not him, and he went above and beyond his obligation to take care of us. nothing but good things to say about him and his staff

We've stayed at this property quite a few times now, and it is just okay. There is always something that isn't up to my expectations. This time it was asking for more pillows. That took three hours to accomplish. Otherwise, it is an affordable room in downtown Ft. Scott close to the Mexican restaurant that we love, Acapulco!

They made us upgrade because of new born son it seemed like a desperate attempt to make more money. Other then that it was decent not a Hilton but decent

Although we arrived near midnight, the attendant was prompt,curtious and made the check in quickly.

We were able to book online and show up 10 minutes later to check in around 1pm - before regular check-in time. We were taking refuge from the ice/snow storm and they had a room for us. I understand this experience is based on room availability but it was much appreciated! The staff was very helpful in helping us get anything we needed. The hotel was right next to the historic area of town but due to the weather we unfortunately couldn't take advantage.

Super customer service. The hotel staff really treats you special.

It was very comfortable and restaurant next door had very good food. Walk right from motel into restaurant was nice after a long drive

It was within walking distance of a lot of things and it was overall a nice stay. No problems and the property was good!

Everything needs paint; dark, dingy, worn out sheets, two scratchy towels, accumulated dust around the edges of the room, no Fox News channel, no hot water, breakfast was a waffle maker in a dark closert type room (probably had other things but I only saw two unlabeled coffee urns and a waffle maker - that was enough...I left). I had paid for 5 nights, but left after one anyway kinowing I won't get any money back. I couldn't stand it.
