It was very clean, outdated furniture but very very clean. The beds were comfortable. It didn't have a ice machine and could of used a little more water pressure in the shower.

We liked that the Dav-Ed was conveniently located, just off of I-90; but it was very quiet. The motel was dated but we knew that when we booked. The bathroom was spotless and there was lots of hot water. We appreciated the availability of wireless internet and the fact that we could bring our dog for a very reasonable nightly fee. We did miss a coffee maker and could have used an iron/ironing board, but those were not critical features to us. Overall, we were quite comfortable during our stay.

The room was clean but smaller then I expected. Parking was farther from the door than I would have liked. I only saw on handicap parking space. The lady that checked us in was very nice. Probably won't stay there again.

The Dav-Ed is an older motel but is kept well. It was fairly priced and close to the interstate. Plus it was close to a couple dining options as well as gas stations. The only thing I didn't like was the room was not smoke free, but I used a few air fresheners to get rid of the smell. And the pool was closed (closed since Covid). I definitely would stay here again.

This was about the fourth time I've stayed at the Dav-Ed. As usual my room was immaculate. This is a classic one-level motel probably from the 1950s but is thoroughly up-to-date. Wifi is good, everything works, everything is clean and in excellent condition (fridge, microwave, TV.) Due to recent back surgery I booked the handicap accessible room (Room 1) which had a totally renovated bathroom, wide bathroom doorway, ramp to front door. The only problem with the room was its proximity to the road and resulting noise. I had never noticed noise during my previous stays in rooms further back. Regardless, this is a very nice independent classic motel and I look forward to my next stay.

1st thing we noticed was the fresh smell as we walked in. It was a very clean room. We were in town for a wedding at a venue a few miles away. David-Ed fit the purpose very nicely. It is an older road side motel. But don’t let that fool ya. The rooms are very nice. SUPER CLEAN! Beds have plastic covering them. I am all about a clean bathroom. The bathroom was immaculate! Not one spot in there. We are not used to the cold Ohio weather. The heater in the room was so warm and heated up quickly. After 10pm the whole hotel was very quiet and peaceful. Check in was easy. Owner/staff was so friendly let us know if we needed anything let her know. If we ever are up that way again we will check in.

They put us in a smoking room. The room smelled like dog pee, cigars, cigarettes. They said we could not change it. Someone should call the health department on these folks. The carpet was ancient and had cigarette ashes and burns all over it. My feet were so black! Clean your floors. Change that carpet. Room number 3.

Very dated, room reeked of cigarette smoke, AC didn’t work it was missing buttons, pictures online did not match the room we booked online. We walked in and walked right back out and got a different motel.

It's an old motel. The woman at the desk was very nice. The bed was kinda hard for my tastes & the protective plastic wrap reminded me I wasnt home. The walls are pretty thin.

Comfortable bed and decent bathroom. The staff was great and check in was easy. I should have been more careful about choosing a non smoking room. It had ash trays but the tobacco smell was slight. I would stay here again.

The place was older. The shower curtain was dirty. There was not even free coffee in the room. The bed was too firm for me. The front desk person quickly came to help us with the tv and got it working so I appreciate that. It was quiet

The place is very neat and tidy. The woman at the front desk was very nice and efficient. The room was very clean except for the desk chair had some sort of big stain on the cloth seat. The light and the outlets near the bed did not work so that was inconvenient.

It’s a lovely, kitschy place. It was the first stop over on my cross country road trip and it could not have been a more appropriate slice of Americana. The folks who run it are very kind and helpful and I felt safe there. It’s not modern, but that’s its charm.

Bed, and pillows were horrible very uncomfortable..floor weren't very clean.. Hit my debt card before i arrived, was suppose to be pay at site..Was paying cash..Not very friendly service
