Country Yard Inn Sikeston - Miner Exit 67 on I-55

Since I got a discount rate thru the app they definitely gave me the 'discount rate' room I stayed just last week ago at regular rate and the room was much nicer, cleaner, and much more care was put into than the 'discount rate' room had been given. The service not fantastic either time. Also NO ICE and NO TV on both stays.

This was an ok place if you dont need amenities. Furniture was miss matched. The shower had no hot water. There were no tissues

The property is old and has not been kept up. The non smoking room was most definitely smoked in. The 2 burns on the coverlet and dresser were goid indicators. There were no hairdryer a must for motels now.

The property was well kept but lacked convenience of food and computer.

Lack of amenities in the room. Air conditioner was noisy and didn’t cool well.

Condition was poor. The corners of the room and bathroom where dirty. The toilet had a brown dirty water residue and the upper ring under the seat was black. The wall next to the ceiling in the shower was peeling like water had leaked through from the floor above. There were only 2 plastic cups to use for coffee and brushing teeth. There was no blow dryer and the manager said they dont have one to loan. Had to take dirty towels to the office to get clean ones for the second day. No maid service to make the bed or replenish soap, towels, etc. Did not furnish shampoo, conditioner, or lotion. There was a large gap around the door which daylight shown through making the air conditioner turn off and on constantly. The king mattress was adequate. We brought our own pillows so couldnt speak on those. The bed pillows appeared to offer medium to flat. Had to call the office to confirm our reservation the day of arrival. There was no online option for check in with this hotel. They did allow us to check in around 11:00 pm after the concert we were staying in that area for. That was nice.

This was the absolute worst stay. Pictures online show decent clean and maintained rooms but this place had 4 inch dust stained bed sheets like feces holes in the walls and they had the audacity to ask me if it was ok that I take a room with no working shower etc. I highly recommend you spend $20-$30 more and stay at a neighboring hotel the stairs and railings outside leading to your room nearly broken.

Gross! Nasty! Stunk! Roaches

I left and got a different hotel after 45 minutes the dresser had what looked like drops of blood and then there was something nasty looking in the chair it smelled like mold also do not recommend pictures look nothing like what it actually looks like

The place was so dirty we had to bring in our own cleaning supply ,we had to clean the tub there was fleth and hair all in ! We took a wet towel to the floors so we could walk on them. The place stunk there was people out in the parking lot playing load music somebody upstairs had kids that stomped around all night ! Would not recommend..

There were cigarette holes/burns on the sheets and what looked like blood on the fitted sheet. It smelt like mildew it was horrible not worth even $56 !

Room was the dirtiest i have Ever seen! Stains, black mold and dirt in bathroom. Hair on counter. My ankle had a bug bite walking in. Checked sheets, and black spots usually are a good indication ofnbed bugs. Tried to get money back and he wouldn't allow us, even though we asked 5 minutes after we saw the room. You couldnt pay me to sleep in that nasty, bug filled bed! I slept in my car.

The first room they put me in there was blood on the sheets and they was nasty. The second room they put me in the base boards was taped together.

Disgustingly dirty, stained towels, dirty walls, broken furniture and much more. Ended up leaving because it was so gross, refused to give a refund.

My stay was alright until I went into the bedroom. The toilet seat was cracked which pinched out behind when we used it and the toilet was stopped up. I had to go to the office to get a plunger to plug the toilet.. but it did not work. I was willing to start another night but they were filled and we could not stay in that room another night. This was the worst room I have ever got from this place. I was disappointed.

Price was good Pillows and bed wasnt comfortable

Thankfully it was a cooler weekend (the previous week had been uncharacteristically warm) or we would have had to move rooms due to an inadequate air conditioning unit. That being said, it was a clean room and the bed was comfortable. The motel is convenient to the interstate and the main road into Sikeston. Our room was at the far end of the motel, so away from any interstate noise.

Great stay for a night on a long road trip. The room was not updated and the appliances didn't fit in the compartments built into the old furniture in the room. The shower was a strange situation as it was walk in but the curtain was built for a tub which resulted in water all over the floor. However it didn't really affect me since I was leaving and the appliances were newer (which I'm sure is why they didn't fit inside the spaces in the furniture) and functional. The room was clean, there were no bugs, the bed was super comfortable, I slept well there.

This hotel needs refurbishing inside and out. The towels were old and worn, there was peeling paint on the ceiling and on the walls, office chair upholstery was torn, the sheets felt clammy and old ( should leave A/C on to keep humidity out of the room between guests) mismatched furniture. The outside concrete steps and railing is rough and old. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed to rent a room. I only stayed because I was tired and didn’t want to go back downstairs with all my luggage and argue about getting a refund. I slept with a gun beside my bed. It was really a sketchy looking place.

It is very quite and convenient to near by restaurants. The coffee in room was great. I will return next time when i go through this route, I highly recommended this place!!

Nice place excellent service

Would never stay again refuse to refund my payment due to a mistake in booking when I got there I understand why every other hotel in the area and there were quite a few parking. Lots were full. This place had three cars one was mine one was the owner and I guess one other guy who wasn’t too smart

Comfy and cozy, quiet area. Clean room and polite and helpful office staff. Simple and perfect for our one night stay.

Cant really complain for a decently cheap stay and good staff, but the property defiantly needs a little more TLC in the repairs and maintenance. Property was open and quiet. No one bothered us so it seemed an ok area.
