I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Our room was directly underneath the rooftop pool, and we encountered significant leakage from the pool, which dripped down onto our balcony. The noise from the water pumps was also quite loud (I’m adding video to prove volume up!), making it difficult to rest. Despite requesting a room change, the hotel initially refused and only offered a new room after the second night when water leaks went out of control they put us in different room and then tried to triple charge us for it. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience and I would not recommend staying here.

Staff were wonderful and so helpful. The hotel itself is immaculate, very clean and beautifully designed, rooms are big and well equipped. The indoor pool and spa is gorgeous and the gym is one of the best hotel gyms I’ve seen. Once the construction work on the beach is completed it will be an amazing location. Just be warned that there are no outdoor pools or sunbathing areas available at this hotel out of season. We had a couple of days of really good weather and had to go hunting for other beaches/hotels for sunbathing - not easy to find either off season!

Our stay at Amphora Garden was great, we enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. In a few months this area will be booming. Currently the beach walk is under construction, and there are not many bars and restaurants around.

Lovely hotel and will be better when there are more facilities locally. Lots of beachside buildings currently being built. Very clean and fantastic breakfasts. My main issue is that we booked this hotel for 4 guests 2 adults, 2 children. 2 single beds and a sofa bed. The room size could easily take a double bed and the sofa bed was awful with the thinnest of mattresses on a saggy curved base which is really not appropriate for even a relatively lightweight couple to sleep on. The pool was also closed for our last two days with no explanation. I told this to the reception who "passed this on to the customer relationship manager". I never heard from them. I would recommend as a couple but not for a family and overall, for this price, you should at least get a reasonable bed.

Dissaponting: Room: given partial sea view despite booking sea view, told no other rooms available apart from one costing extra per night. Breakfast: the food options for vegetarians was very limited. We spoke with the customer relations person and she suggested we should eat fruit and vegetables. And she also didn't know what hashbrowns were. She asked us what we usually eat and when we told her she said oh you mean English breakfast, we dont do that here. Cleanliness: cleaners kept trying to access our room to clean when it was still early in the morning, this was with and without the "do not disturb" sign on the front door. Only partially cleaned our room. The floors were always dirty and clearly weren't broomed or vacuumed. Room Facilities: items were also broken in the room such as the bedside lamp, the sink plug hole, the door handle of the main bedroom, and the kitchen area although appearing tidy was not finished to a good standard, there were gaps around the units and under the backsplash and we saw bugs accessing the back of the cupboards as a result. The AC in the bedroom didn't get cold enough. You could only feel the AC if standing directly under it. We tried to watch TV some evenings and all the channels were either in German or Croatian, so tvs were usless to us. Staff: some were friendly but they didnt really seem accommodating. No manager on site to complain to.

We had an excellent stay at Amphora Garden apartment plus hotel. The use of all the hotel spa facilities was great. Breakfast was very good. Location was good. A short drive into the old town. Apartment room was well equipped and spacious enough for a family of 4. Friendly staff.

The apartment looked great and was clean and comfy. We even got a gift on arrival and the breakfast was great. The staff was welcoming, however we had some bugs (“bearded dragon”?) on the walls and in the bathroom. We found more than 5 and seen some in the hallways, which we really didn’t want to bring home as it’s hard to get rid of them. We needed to switch rooms in the middle of the night, and the new room seemed not to have the bugs. We couldn’t sleep anymore.

Not five-star quality – disappointing stay We booked Amphora Garden via Expedia, but the photos shown were from Amphora Hotel, which has higher standards and sea views. It was not clear that Amphora Garden is behind the main building and of much lower quality. Our apartment had a separate bedroom, kitchenette, and two bathrooms. It looked fine at first, but the kitchen lamp and extractor fan were covered in dust, the bathroom had what appeared to be mold, and I saw insects in the room. There were wine glasses but no corkscrew. When I called reception, I was told by the bar that room service costs money. I was promised someone would bring one, but no one came. Later, the bar said they didn’t have enough and I should bring the bottle myself. One bedside lamp was unstable and not fixed despite reporting it. A booked dinner was also disappointing – no drink orders taken, food was cold and tasteless, €105 wasted. Breakfast was average; the omelette chef was the only highlight. The rooftop infinity pool had nice views but poor maintenance – cracked and dirty glass panels. The beach water was clear, but the area is still under construction with few restaurants. Facilities exist, but service is almost zero. Compared to five-star hotels in Spain or Greece, this would not even reach three-star level.

We enjoyed our stay at Amphora Garden. We ended up with a free upgrade and it was lovely. We did, however, find a roach in our pullout bed. We did not have time to enjoy the amenities, but they looked nice and breakfast was wonderful.

Not worth the price and for sure not five star lodging. Lack of fit and finish I would expect for how much we paid. AC did not work in bed rooms. Lukewarm shower in morning. Only coffee pods, no coffee condiments or tea. No complimentary bottled water. Half bathroom lock didn’t work. While we were away, two people entered the room (not house keeping) while our son was in the bedroom. He said they came in, when on to the balcony and then left. Btw safe didn’t work.

Fantastisk hotell med god beliggenhet! Vi bodde i leilighet med eget soverom som passet bra for familie på 4, 2 barn på sovesofa i stue. Savner at vi ikke fikk tømt søppel og byttet håndklær på de dagene vi var der. Leiligheten er av meget god standard og har alle fasiliteter. Flott takterasse med stort basseng. Strand i umiddelbar nærhet. Vi kommer tilbake 😊

Byggarbetsplats utanför och avsides beläget. Wi-Fi fungerade ibland och AC: strulade. Vattnet stängdes av vilket var planerat enligt taxichauffören men ej enligt hotellet. Vi fick två fina rum den kvällen vattnet i vår del av hotellet var borta.

Area around it is all under construction. So walking to the beach etc was an issue.. not the property issue.. We had an apartment type room. Had to navigate multiple elevators walks etc to get to room a little bit of hassle not much

Clean, new and nice location. The hotel is situated about 1 hour WALK from the old town of Split but the whole waterfront is being built out (4 km) and will be very nice once completed. Comfortable rooms and very nice spa / fitness area. This will be an up and coming hotel! Please note that Amphoras GARDEN (5 stars) is situated behind the Amphora so the sea view from most rooms are limited. However, very nice Roof top pool area.

Dissaponting: Room: given partial sea view despite booking sea view, told no other rooms available apart from one costing extra per night. Breakfast: the food options for vegetarians was very limited. We spoke with the customer relations person and she suggested we should eat fruit and vegetables. And she also didn't know what hashbrowns were. She asked us what we usually eat and when we told her she said oh you mean English breakfast, we dont do that here. Cleanliness: cleaners kept trying to access our room to clean when it was still early in the morning, this was with and without the "do not disturb" sign on the front door. Only partially cleaned our room. The floors were always dirty and clearly weren't broomed or vacuumed. Room Facilities: items were also broken in the room such as the bedside lamp, the sink plug hole, the door handle of the main bedroom, and the kitchen area although appearing tidy was not finished to a good standard, there were gaps around the units and under the backsplash and we saw bugs accessing the back of the cupboards as a result. The AC in the bedroom didn't get cold enough. You could only feel the AC if standing directly under it. We tried to watch TV some evenings and all the channels were either in German or Croatian, so tvs were usless to us. Staff: some were friendly but they didnt really seem accommodating. No manager on site to complain to.

Super service fra et serviceminded personale. Tidlig check in til vores værelser. Udsigten var fantastisk. Morgenmaden var virkelig god med alt hvert hjertet begære. Strandpromenaden var helt ny og super lækker med strand og restauranter. Vi var alt i alt meget tilfredse.

I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. Our room was directly underneath the rooftop pool, and we encountered significant leakage from the pool, which dripped down onto our balcony. The noise from the water pumps was also quite loud (I’m adding video to prove volume up!), making it difficult to rest. Despite requesting a room change, the hotel initially refused and only offered a new room after the second night when water leaks went out of control they put us in different room and then tried to triple charge us for it. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience and I would not recommend staying here.

We had an excellent stay at Amphora Garden apartment plus hotel. The use of all the hotel spa facilities was great. Breakfast was very good. Location was good. A short drive into the old town. Apartment room was well equipped and spacious enough for a family of 4. Friendly staff.

I do NOT recommend booking here until the beach & road renovations are done!! The pictures are so misleading!!! We paid extra to stay here for the views and access to a beach right across the street, that is NOT the case! The views are of construction trucks and a torn up beach, It looks more like a war zone. The beach is closed except for a small concrete block in front of it. It’s NOT nice! There is only a gravel road to get to and from the hotel along the whole beach and Uber/Taxi drivers decline most requests from there. Construction starts up super early and there’s so much dust you can’t go outside or enjoy the outdoor pool. They say there’s “some construction” after you’ve already booked… “some” is an understatement and totally misleading 😣 We wasted 2 of our travel days working on getting out of there and into a new place for the rest of our trip. It was such a shame it ruined the majority of our trip to Split. You definitely want to be closer to old town or you’ll be paying a lot in taxi/uber rides. Fortunately, the staff were super friendly and helpful. They were very kind about refunding us for the remaining nights. They gave us a lunch voucher but the food was horrible at the restaurant. An excellent hotel on the outskirts of Split. The Amphora’s Garden is an annex to the main Amphora Hotel, but with its own stunning rooftop infinity pool which at times felt exclusive. The hotel was spotlessly clean throughout, with very friendly staff, and excellent amenities in the main Amphora hotel, including a rooftop bar. Our room was very nice, and very well set out and maintained. The only downside was the lack of local dining options, particularly on the beachfront work that can be done from the hotel into Split (which takes about an hour). Because of this we tended to get an Uber into Split centre for dinner (usually about €7 single trip). Finally, there is extensive building work on this part of the coastline at the moment, but this is a government programme that will no doubt improve facilities and dining options form 2025 for visitors and locals, it’s not about building more hotels. Overall a lovely stay in the great hotel, in a beautiful country. A great base to explore this part of Croatia.

The overall property is great. The breakfast is amazing. Staff is very nice and professional. The only complaint I have is the picture that Expedia has on the website. The picture of the property has not been updated for a while as the Amphora Hotel has been build since in front of the Amphora garden. The only other complaint is construction that is going on in front of the hotel and there is a lot of dust and noise. I’ll come back k again after all of the construction is completed in front of the hotel.

Nice place to visit. An important note is these apartments are connected to the hotel amphora, you check in at the hotel ( we were a bit lost trying to find it at first). The beach is going to be truly beautiful once construction is done, but you can still swim. Overall, the place was clean, spacious, had a nice spa, good breakfest and nice staff.

Hotel was very modern and clean. The lack of bars and restaurants due to the ongoing construction of the new seafront was a bit disappointing. The hotel is only a 5 minute taxi ride from the old town of Split which is very nice.

Area around it is all under construction. So walking to the beach etc was an issue.. not the property issue.. We had an apartment type room. Had to navigate multiple elevators walks etc to get to room a little bit of hassle not much

Clean, new and nice location. The hotel is situated about 1 hour WALK from the old town of Split but the whole waterfront is being built out (4 km) and will be very nice once completed. Comfortable rooms and very nice spa / fitness area. This will be an up and coming hotel! Please note that Amphoras GARDEN (5 stars) is situated behind the Amphora so the sea view from most rooms are limited. However, very nice Roof top pool area.

Property was good including rooftop pool and easy access to beach. We did not receive the apartment we booked due to some technical issues but we were given a very good room in the hotel with a comfortable bed and also provided a discount on checkout which was most appreciated. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Easy and free parking close by.

Lovely hotel and will be better when there are more facilities locally. Lots of beachside buildings currently being built. Very clean and fantastic breakfasts. My main issue is that we booked this hotel for 4 guests 2 adults, 2 children. 2 single beds and a sofa bed. The room size could easily take a double bed and the sofa bed was awful with the thinnest of mattresses on a saggy curved base which is really not appropriate for even a relatively lightweight couple to sleep on. The pool was also closed for our last two days with no explanation. I told this to the reception who "passed this on to the customer relationship manager". I never heard from them. I would recommend as a couple but not for a family and overall, for this price, you should at least get a reasonable bed.

Not five-star quality – disappointing stay We booked Amphora Garden via Expedia, but the photos shown were from Amphora Hotel, which has higher standards and sea views. It was not clear that Amphora Garden is behind the main building and of much lower quality. Our apartment had a separate bedroom, kitchenette, and two bathrooms. It looked fine at first, but the kitchen lamp and extractor fan were covered in dust, the bathroom had what appeared to be mold, and I saw insects in the room. There were wine glasses but no corkscrew. When I called reception, I was told by the bar that room service costs money. I was promised someone would bring one, but no one came. Later, the bar said they didn’t have enough and I should bring the bottle myself. One bedside lamp was unstable and not fixed despite reporting it. A booked dinner was also disappointing – no drink orders taken, food was cold and tasteless, €105 wasted. Breakfast was average; the omelette chef was the only highlight. The rooftop infinity pool had nice views but poor maintenance – cracked and dirty glass panels. The beach water was clear, but the area is still under construction with few restaurants. Facilities exist, but service is almost zero. Compared to five-star hotels in Spain or Greece, this would not even reach three-star level.

The hotel was nice and clean with good facilities. However, the springs of the sofa bed was broken so it was uncomfortable for my kids. The hotel did whatever it can to fix the issue with rope and plastic ties. These things should have been looked at before checking in.

Room was very clean and tidy. Beds were big and tidy. All the staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. Breakfast was good, not the best I have had. Location is good if you have a car as it’s just outside the old town, about 10 minutes from decent parking for the town. Indoor pool and spa area was excellent. All in all a nice hotel.

The apartment looked great and was clean and comfy. We even got a gift on arrival and the breakfast was great. The staff was welcoming, however we had some bugs (“bearded dragon”?) on the walls and in the bathroom. We found more than 5 and seen some in the hallways, which we really didn’t want to bring home as it’s hard to get rid of them. We needed to switch rooms in the middle of the night, and the new room seemed not to have the bugs. We couldn’t sleep anymore.
