We stayed in the room with the rooftop pool and ocean view which was absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel. The only negative was not being able to pay with credit card at the bar, they only took cash.

La Hacienda An oasis of charm, calm & beauty set on the slopes of Riconada around 500 yards from a strip trip of restaurants , a bakery, pharmacies and dive shops …. The charming old but modern style villa sits in a beautiful garden of trees and flowers and a good sized pool . There are lots of parasols and sunbeds around the pool and it is lit with an abundance of fairy lights in the evening . Separate pool towels are provided and can be changed regularly but please remember ro think about the environmental impact. The large rooms are very modern with king sized beds, a range of furnishings , a modern shower room and I believe most have a Kitchenette with a fridge, hob a range of utensils and saucepans . There is a safe in each room and I believe most rooms have balconies and/ or terraces . La Havienda is all in all a supreme effigy of the word Boutique and well deserves its 4 star rating . The rooms are cleaned daily with towels being changed , bedding refreshed and small shower / shampoo toiletries provided . Sol and her team are excellent . Please remember to tip them ! On arrival she organised all of my toiletries and make up into different baskets ! That was a first. I also benefitted from a small private pool however it was cold and I didn’t use it. There is a bar which sits perfectly next to the pool area. Simply fabulous !

Everything was great from check in to check out. The pool is top notch, very well kept areas, cold beers at the ready, free good coffee in room. An overall wonderful vibe that will have us coming back next time in PE!

This is a lovely hotel. Beautiful, clean rooms and courteous staff. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, we enjoyed drinks from the bar. Not enough can be said about the gorgeous pool which is an oasis, a refuge from the crowded beach. Plus, the hotel is just a short walk to many good restaurants and bars. Our only comment is that we are not fans of the open toilet. The walls around the toilet do not reach the ceiling so there is no privacy.

Un hotel muy tranquilo, habitaciones amplias, la alberca muy grande y el internet a gran velocidad. No tiene restaurante, pero no hay problema ya que hay muchas opciones para comer afuera, además la playa esta super cerca. Si buscas descanso y paz es una excelente opción. Sin lugar a dudas me vuelvo a hospedar aquí en mi proxima visita.

Veldig hyggelig og sjarmerende hotell, med et vakkert bassengområde. Vi hadde suiten som ligger privat til med nydelig utsikt over havet og privat lite basseng - helt supert. Servicen var også upåklagelig med hjelp til bagasje og taxi booking. Vil anbefale dette hotellet på det varmeste!

The hotel is near the beach and restaurants. Unfortunately, we did have two cockaroaches in our room and housekeeping didn't come by to clean our room for the two nights we were there. The front desk said they would fumagate though. We just expected a cleaner room from this hotel. Other than that, the pool is lovely and the location is great.

The check-in and check-out process was smooth. The suite, located on the second floor, was beautiful and spacious. The neighboring guests were quiet and it was extremely quiet on the property and surrounding area at night. The only things I did not like, was housekeeping came into my room even though I had the sign on the door knob stating do not disturb. The other thing was, the small cockroach I found under my pillow on my last night, and the spider in my bed the day of packing, both of which were disposed of.

We stayed for four nights and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The place is absolutely beautiful and colorful. Staff is friendly and attentive with anything your request which is a huge plus :) Everything about it is great. Extremely close to Playa Carrizalillo which was our favorite beach. And great restaurants just streets away. Unfortunately, we did find little cockroaches in our room which made it a bit uncomfortable. We only counted 4. Dont stay here though if you plan on partying, you will spend most your money on taxis. Overall, I do recomend people to stay here.

The property is a beautiful oasis in the middle of the Rinconada area of Puerto Escondido. Rooms are beautifully decorated. The gardens and pool area are beautiful. The entire facility and grounds are very well maintained and clean. Staff are friendly and hard working. There is always a manager or owner available to ensure guest satisfaction and smooth operation of this lovely hotel.

Room was as expected. It was clean and well appointed, with a balcony and our room had a view of the ocean. Property was very nice, lush and well maintained. It’s walkable to the beach as well as a few restaurants and shops. The check in process was a bit confusing, but it was fine. We would recommend this property, it was a good value.

The rooms were spacious. And very nicely decorated in Mexican style. My room had a kitchen and a separate bedroom. The gardens on the property were beautiful and the swimming pool was wonderful.

We absolutely loved our stay and the property is well kept and beautiful as shown in pictures. The wifi wasn’t good in our room at all but near the reception it was fine. The staff didn’t really offer a solution to the wifi when we asked. The only heads up I’d say is there is construction next door and it goes on from 8am till about 10:30pm. I think this should have been said prior and then you can make your decision about staying or not. We didn’t get that chance. Other than that it was a wonderful trip and hotel. There is a French bakery down the street called Panorama, absolutely recommend it.

La atencion de recepcion fue un poco tosca, mas sin embargo entendible. Mi habitacion estaba en ultimo piso, hay que subir escaleras. El pueblo agradable, no hay acceso a la playa desde ahi. En la habitacion fallo el ventilador, solo funcionaba en modo mas veloz, una escalera de decoracion tenia un tornillo salido y oxidado, la TV solo funciono un momento despues pedio señal y no volvio a funcionar. La señal de WiFi es buena

Minor improvements would make this place an amazing option. TV is located in the kitchen and unavailable from the bedroom area. The door that leads to the balcony is beautiful wood but it does not close properly.

La primera habitación que nos entregaron tuvo problemas con el funcionamiento de la TV, de la caja fuerte y del aire acondicionado. This hotel has among the most beautifully designed and maintained gardens of any hotel we've ever stayed in. The colonial-style architecture and artfully-designed furniture in our room were amazing. The staff is very attentive, providing not only what we'd hoped for, but extras, too - like re-filling our pitcher of drinking water in the refrigerator each day. The concierge, Luis, was particularly helpful in helping us find the best things to do around town and arranging transportation for us. We highly recommend this place!

This hotel ruined our Puerto Escondido stay. The hotel is currently under construction, something they don’t tell you about when doing reservations, and there are non stop very loud construction noises from 8am to 6pm. Also, after we scheduled the reservation we noticed the room didn’t have a/c so we wrote to the hotel via hotels.com and asked if they had a room as the one that we booked but with a/c. They responded that they had and said they could made the change for us if we paid an additional fee. We agreed to the fee and asked if the room was the same type of room as the one that we reserved and the replied that it was the same but with a/c. When we arrived to the hotel we were very surprised because the room was not only not the same room we reserved (we requested a room with a queen bed and we got a room with two separate full beds and very ugly and outdated, nothing like the pictures) but the manager seemed surprised that we had a problem with the room and couldn’t offer any solution besides canceling our reservation. We were a couple but had other friends staying at the hotel so we decided to stay even though we really disliked the place. Also wifi is terrible and for half of our stay we where complaining of a gas smell near some of the rooms, they finally fixed but not with the urgency you would expect given the seriousness of the issue.

I loved this hotel! I was a little nervous at first — other than Expedia, I couldn’t find much about it on Instagram or TikTok. But yes, it’s real, and it’s even better in person! The location is perfect — just a short walk to Rinconada, where you’ll find tons of great spots to eat. It was super easy to get around from here, too. And Luis… omg, he was amazing! He truly went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend if you’re visiting Puerto Escondido!

A mi esposo y a mi nos encanto el Hotel, la comodidad; nuestra habitacion estaba muy bonita y amplia y que decir del baño!! El personal muy amable y servicial en todo momento. Salimos mas tarde del check out y nos permitieron quedar hasta la salida del vuelo, ademaa de que tuvimos cancelacion del vuelo y nos ayudaron a conseguir otro lugar donde hospedarnos por una noche mas, aunque nos hubiera encantado quedarnos ahi...si regresamos en otra ocasion, sin dudarlo nos hospedariamos de nuevo en el Hotel, lo recomendaria sin pensarlo 10/10

Este lugar es simplemente maravilloso, está muy bien ubicado cerca de muchos lugares para comer, toda la propiedad es bellísima, mantienen muy limpio y son muy amables, yo iba con mis padres ya mayores así que me proporcionaron una habitación en planta baja para que ellos se despalazaran sin problema alguno, siempre me ayudaron con recomendación de taxi lo que nos ayudó muchísimo a trasladarnos cómodos y seguros, la alberca hermosa rodeada de naturaleza, muy buen lugar para descansar y a la vez puedes caminar a la playa, carrizalillo está súper cerca y también puedes visitar por la zona puerto angelito, playa manzanillo y Bacocho. Cómo punto adicional mi vuelo salía varias horas después del check out y ellos amablemente guardaron nuestras maletas para seguir disfrutando del día y nos dieron acceso a la piscina, camastros, regadera y baño para que estuviéramos cómodos hasta antes de partir, sin duda volveremos.

Lovely hotel with a beautiful garden and pool! The staff was extremely welcoming and friendly. They helped us with everything we needed! Our room was great, too. AC worked very well and had a little kitchenette which was so useful!

This property is a gem. I had the best sleeps in months. Staff is caring and cares for the property. It looks BETTER in person than in the pics which says a lot because the pics are great. Nice strip of restaurants close by and quick walk down to the beach. GO!

Very beautiful and peaceful. Great if you want to avoid big tourist crowds. The staff were also very nice. There is a yoga studio and an amazing breakfast place right next to the hotel. Stores and restaurants are a few minutes away. Beaches are close by. Perfect place to stay!

Luis, the hotel Manager was very helpful and easy to reach. The location of the hotel is nice and quiet but also walkable to restaurants and shops and the beaches. It's a beautiful property!

I really enjoyed my stay. I was looking for more rest and relaxation than party. The hotel is away from the party zone but near nice beaches, so it was an oasis really. All the nightlife and attractions are a cheap taxi ride away. The area near the hotel is primarily residential.

Pros - Beautiful, well maintained property with a wide variety of tropical plants and flowers; felt like a tropical oasis. Tables and chairs, lounge chairs, Adirondack chairs, and a hammock for outdoor seating options. - Clean, clear pool that is at a nice temperature, surrounded by comfortable lounge chairs. Grounds are brightly lit at night. Grounds felt safe and secured. - Friendly owners and staff. Assisted with bringing bags to room and called taxi when leaving. The owners went out of their way to show kindness to my daughter, bringing the cats for her to excitedly meet. - Tasty food and drink options available at the hotel. Pay tab when leaving. - Rooms had comfortable beds and pillows. - Rooms were tastefully decorated/designed. Very large showers, storage shelves. We stayed in the room with the rooftop pool and ocean view which was absolutely lovely. I would highly recommend this hotel. The only negative was not being able to pay with credit card at the bar, they only took cash.

Everything was great from check in to check out. The pool is top notch, very well kept areas, cold beers at the ready, free good coffee in room. An overall wonderful vibe that will have us coming back next time in PE!

This is a lovely hotel. Beautiful, clean rooms and courteous staff. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, we enjoyed drinks from the bar. Not enough can be said about the gorgeous pool which is an oasis, a refuge from the crowded beach. Plus, the hotel is just a short walk to many good restaurants and bars. Our only comment is that we are not fans of the open toilet. The walls around the toilet do not reach the ceiling so there is no privacy.

The hotel is beautiful! The location is great close to everything, restaurants, beaches and easy to get taxis/transportation. I preferred stay further from Zicatela away from madness and loved Rinconcito area! Staff and owners were very attentive and helpful. The one thing that took away from the experience was the construction next door and a broken lamp but other than that which was really minor it was amazing! My room was excellent with balcony with view of the ocean. The pool on the property is lovely as well. Breakfast and drink are great for extra cost! I would definitely stay here again if I ever revisit! Thank you!

This property is extremely beautiful, with lots of plants, flowers, and garden decor throughout the common areas. There are lots of nice character touches throughout and the overall feel is very beautiful and tranquil. The pool is great and we spent a lot of time swimming and enjoying views of the floral surroundings. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. We had a basic room and found it a little bit dark, but generally fairly comfortable. Next time I might consider spending a little extra for one of the upgraded rooms which seemed from the outside like they'd be very nice. The cocktails were nice, though I hate to say the coffee was not the best. We were slightly underwhelmed with the Rinconada area (no fault of this hotel), though there were a few higher-end dining options that were our best meals in Puerto Escondido (Espadin - great for views) and Almoraduz Cucina de Autor (Michelin Guide restaurant) and it was nice for 2-3 days of quiet and relaxation. This hotel is well-located a short (~10 min.) walk to most of the areas beaches and the main restaurant strip. If you are looking to stay in Rinconada, this is a very beautiful and tranquil hotel that I would recommend.

Un hotel muy tranquilo, habitaciones amplias, la alberca muy grande y el internet a gran velocidad. No tiene restaurante, pero no hay problema ya que hay muchas opciones para comer afuera, además la playa esta super cerca. Si buscas descanso y paz es una excelente opción. Sin lugar a dudas me vuelvo a hospedar aquí en mi proxima visita.

The property is well maintained and has lots of nice plants. Pool was very nice for Puerto Escondido. Owner is friendly and treated us well but the man that showed us to our room didn’t help at all. The room was on the fourth floor with no elevator and he brought one bag up out of four! He then sped off even though I was going to tip h 100 pesos. He didn’t give instructions on anything and he was rude
