Lovely place easy to access any time. Free laundry but the driers didn’t dry enough even three cycles later had to pack wet clothes. Room was very dark and spacious with a kitchen

Great location, grocery store across the street, free parking behind building.

Accommodations were easily accessible and cleanly. Everything was prepared for us well before check in time and it was easy to check-in and out of the property. The only thing I’d note is that while there the location is renovating which meant our floor was an active construction zone during the day. It didn’t disturb our stay much (except for the morning they tested the fire alarm system at 8 am), but it would have been nice if the property had communicated that with us. Other than that, public transport was easy to access and the grocery store is right there. Would stay again!

It’s so convenient that there’s grocery across the street and there’s easy parking available.

Whether it was Expedia or the owner they were easy to work with. We had a last minute change due to an auto accident so they happily changed our room to a smaller one. Upon arrival we gained access and went into our room. The refridgerator freezer was a complete block of ice due to poor closure on the door . We contacted the apartment manager who sent someone at 9:30 pm local time and said he would be back the next day. No one ever returned. The clothes dryers wouldn’t work and finally on Thursday we ran into someone replacing a microwave and he said he wasn’t aware and put something into his phone and advised us to call in again. On Friday a lady came by and asked if we needed the fridge. We were actually using the frozen sheet of ice to keep our items cold so we said yes. When leaving on Sunday the fridge still wasn’t fixed. The hallway had thresholds were lifting severely causing a trip hazard and flooring in the hallway was separating . The general appearance of the building was less than average.

Self-check in. Key was not in lockbox. Called customer service and they gave a different room. The code provided was incorrect, so had to call again. Thank you to the lady working in customer service as she resolved the issue promptly and it wasnt a huge inconvenience. Property is undergoing renovations on each floor, so its a bit messy. The apartment itself was clean, but there was no toilet paper holder, the faucets in kitchen and bathroom were not held in place, the shower pressure was low and it took a very long time for water to become hot. Apartment had a weird smell. Bed was comfy, good lighting, good amenities (fridge, microwave etc) quiet at night. Parked in the front, grocery store across st, 10 min drive to Reykjavik centre.

The view was amazing from the north (?) side. Beautiful mountains to see, as well as city view. Hotel has been renovated so everything was clean and new. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen had everything for basic cooking. Only issue was a metal panel on the outside stairwell was loose and noisy flapping in the wind but otherwise it was a great place to stay!

The property was VERY convenient to downtown. There is a grocery store right across the street which was awesome. Only thing was they were doing construction because of a leak when we were there so a bit messy, but understandably so. Overall our stay was great!

The Driers all all floors not working.

Brilliant room. Fabulous views over the harbour a city. Spacious and clean. Lift and stairs option. Safe and easy access Into the building. Lots of restaurants options cheap eats inc subway. 24h supermarket. Bus stations 5 min walk. Fire alarm went off and nobody came to turn it off for 4hours so that was a problem but we had left for the day an returned wasn’t an issue for me specifically

The room we had looked nothing like the photos on Expedia - very disappointing for the price-one chair was so dirty, stained and ripped that I would not let my family sit on it. Dish towel was dirty. The blinds were torn, the room had an odour the whole time we were there. Very disappointed!!!

Place is clean and safe.10 minute Drive to Reykhavik. The property management is very responsive which i love easy to communicate.10/10

NO TV, STINGING NOISE AT NIGHT, DIRTY TOILET, INSECTS ETC. What a mess. TV didn't work and instead of fixing the TV issues I described in detail they had two different guys bringing me two remotes to "program myself", although the remotes weren't the problem. One night for several hours there was a high pitching noise. The toilet came dirty and they had insect infestation in the bathroom. They responded to emails, but didn't try to solve problems. I even made them a VIDEO explaining the problems, but nothing. Horrible.

The property is beautiful and very clean.

As soon as we entered the room, it smelled very bad. The bathroom shower panel was not designed in a way where the water could stay in the shower area. Every time someone showered, the water would come out from the shower area to the bathroom. I had to put big towel on the floor to stop the spillover. The room was not clean either. The lobby was dirty. They have an excellent system of online check-in check out, they do not even provide the access code without uploading a ID card information. I only with they were equally good at maintaining the room itself. I would not recommend getting there.

The room was not clean, smelled so bad, tiles were missing at the door, door was hard to close, window shades bars are broken, beds were very uncomfortable, no clean towels, complained about the smell via email only because no one was there to talk to, no room service or any attendant, they sent air freshener few hours later

Overall was an ok property. They email you after you make a reservation. Then a few days before arrival, they email you a code to get into the front door and room. The instructions were good, but my code got me through the front door, but not into my room. On the email, there was a link for chat or call. I tried the chat, but had no answer after a minute, so I called. The person on the other end was nice and able to get the door code to work quickly. The bathroom door had a hairball stuck to it. The kitchen was nice, had everything I needed to eat, except for utensils. But given that I was a tourist, this may be the usual in Iceland? Overall, the place was a decent place to stay.

Very very comfy bed. .lots of heating...super wet room..cooking facilities excellent...(Perhaps an electric toaster would be good) Spotlessly clean...thank you

The staff are very helpful and respond quickly to your emails.check in/out is very easy. If you have any issues they resolve it right away. The common areas is not well lit but the hallways to the apartments have very good lighting. They common areas do need a good deep clean but in general the apartments are ok. We had a room on floor 1. It was comfortable. The bed and shower/bathroom were good. It was clean. But note that this is budget accommodation with a worn headboard, old kitchen units, a bust window opener, a loose tap and a poorly secured fridge. Doubt much maintenance is done hence the cheaper price. It was in an unbeatable location, though, easy to park and just 15 minutes into downtown Helsinki. The service team were easy to contact. The cleaning team need to make sure that the lobby is hoovered. Also, the fire alarm went off on our last night. There were no detailed instructions about where to muster and guests were just hanging about in the lobby whilst one of them tried to reset the system. The next morning the system showed a fault/bleep yet no one from the maintenance team had fixed it and surely the fire alarm should be a priority. As least if all was safe we could have been emailed to say that. Limited food outlets nearby but the pizza restaurant at the Art Museum was excellent and East Gate Cafe was very good. You will find better place s to stay in Reykjavik but you'll have to pay a lot more than we did and it did suit our needs pretty well.

I liked the room size, all 5 of us were comfortable. I did not like that the building seemed to be in the middle of renovations, and bits and pieces of the room in our second stay did not seem to be completed. Overall, however, it was good.

As 4 travelers, it was great to have a place we could all have our own beds without getting more than one room. Grocery right across the street, 1 block off the main bus line, a nice restaurant a couple doors down. Would definitely stay here again.

Overall good stay. The bathroom has a really bad sulfur smell. Not sure if this applies to all of Iceland because there water is heated with geothermal energy. The shower water spills all over the bathroom and it’s kind of annoying.overall good stay

The view from the room was spectacular. We had a car and access to Reykjavík and out of town for sightseeing was very easy.

Loved this apartment. It was clean and comfortable and it was nice to be able to cook some food... Mainly ate breakfast at the apartment to save some money. The people were very easy to get in touch with and gave us very easy directions to get there from the airport. There was some renovations going on but that didn't bother us at all. If I ever find myself back in Iceland we will definitely stay here again. It's also very close to things to do in the city.

Contacted property management to report issue with checking in as well as sewage smell coming from holes in bathroom floor. You can only online message them and they told us someone would come out to inspect room and never showed up. Since there is no one present at this property (everything is self check-in) we also contacted them that there was no soap in either counter or shower dispensers and again no response nor was anyone sent to refill. Terrible experience and won’t recommend to others.

We stayed here twice during our recent trip to Iceland. It was a “tale of two stays.” Our first stay was in a room with a broken bathroom door, non-functioning TV, and was noisy. Our second stay was much better. Bathroom door worked, TV worked. Nice clean and quiet room. Word of warning: The property managers will write you an email and ask for a photo of your ID and credit card in lieu of in-person check-in (there is no check-in desk or onsite staff). If you aren’t checking your email or it is filtered to the spam folder, that could be a problem. Also, the phone number they provided did not work—but they were quick to respond to emails.

Terrible first floor room had a sewage hole in the bathroom floor that had a terrible smell. Also this room ran out of soap dispenser for sink and shower and since there’s no attendant in the hotel we had to message them online. We were told someone would come by next day to investigate smell and soap but no one ever came. We were not offered to move to different room either. They only offered late checkout which we didn’t need as we had a flight to catch…

Meine Frau und ich haben 7 Tage im Iceland Comfort Apartment in Kopavogur gewohnt. Wie ich bei der Reservierung informiert worden war, habe ich ein Tag vor unserer Ankunft zwei Codes per SMS erhalten: einen für die Außentür und einen für den kleinen Schlüsselkasten, der sich neben der Apartmenttür befindet. Wir sind pünktlich um 15 Uhr (reguläre Check-in Zeit) bei dem Apartment angekommen. Der Code für die Außentür hat funktioniert (Achtung: nach der Eingabe des Codes muss man die Tür kräftig drücken, um sie zu öffnen). Der Code für den Schlüsselkasten hat zwar auch funktioniert, aber zu unserem Erstaunen war da kein Schlüssel zu finden. Nach ein paar Minuten Ratlosigkeit konnte ich das nette Housekeeping-Personal im Apartmentgebäude finden und nach dem Apartmentschlüssel fragen. Da wurde ich informiert, dass der vorherige Gast das Apartment noch nicht verlassen habe. Nach ein paar Versuchen konnte ich das Verwaltungspersonal telefonisch kontaktieren (im Apartmentgebäude selbst gibt es keine Rezeption). Das Verwaltungspersonal war hilfsreich und hat sofort agiert. Um 19 Uhr konnten wir das Apartment betreten. Das Apartment ist ziemlich komfortabel und ist mit allem ausgestattet, was ein Gast für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt benötigt. Die Lage ist sehr gut. Kostenlosen Parkplatz gibt es direkt am Apartmentgebäude. Supermärkte, Geschäfte, Bank gibt es ganz in der Nähe. Das Leistungs-Preis-Verhältnis war aus meiner Sicht fair.

This is a great deal. A very affordable apartment with kitchen and all the extras not too far from Reykjavik. The staff are very responsive with any questions or issues.

Late at night, there must be a bar nearby because there were drunk people standing on the street. If you get in and out at a reasonable time, you probably won’t encounter them.

As 4 travelers, it was great to have a place we could all have our own beds without getting more than one room. Grocery right across the street, 1 block off the main bus line, a nice restaurant a couple doors down. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location outside of the hustle and bustle of the city centre but also only a short drive into Reykjavic. Self check in work very well with easy to follow instructions. Appartment was clean with all necessary amenities. A good selection of local shops inc a great coffee shop and supermarket.

Everything was fine, but area seemed a bit unsafe. However, that is a relative term because there are really no unsafe areas in Iceland
