It rained a little bit then the pool was closed for the rest of the night .Then went to try the indoor pool and it was freezing cold and upon entering the shower by the pool it was a big water bug on the floor

This is not a 4 star property. The room was okay, but bathroom had bandaid/cheap repairs and ceiling was gross. We were out of our room all day each day, and when we returned at 3-4pm each day the room had not yet been serviced. We called the front desk to request service and they said they continuing servicing until 5pm. This made it difficult for us to shower and get ready for supper as we had to vacate the room to get service. The indoor pool is disgusting. The pool itself is in disrepair (rust, peeling paint, poor filters (hair balls). In addition the pool area had many drains but they were completely clogged so there was gross standing water all over the floor. I would not recommend staying here, especially if you are expecting a 4 star hotel.

The elevators are so messed up. There was constantly a line of people waiting for elevators because they system is screwed. In attempts to check in and go to floor 12, it took TWENTY MINUTES because the elevator system wont remember your floor and you have to re-tap your hotel card every time the doors open and hurry to put your floor in. In the time you are doing that the elevator re-routes and takes you back down to the ground floor. It was a nightmare. We had to take the stairs multiple times and ALL the guests were complaining about this.

With many hotel options in this neighborhood, staying at Le Meridian is not worth the money. They advertise a misleading rooftop experience. Online it stated the rooftop was open until 11pm but in fact it is only open on weekends and we stayed on a Monday. Additionally the TV and phone were broken. We asked to change rooms to one with a working TV but instead they wasted our time with a technician who partially fixed the TV and cost us another 45 minutes of not being able to enjoy our stay. The bathroom seemed set up like an afterthought. Not a single place to hang a towel, body wash fell off the wall, no dry surfaces. The lights were flickering a lot, in the whole room, but it was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Lastly, this hotel appears to be a gigantic waste of electricity, and hosts no attempt to reduce environmental impact. Honestly it just seemed like no one cared about the quality of our stay. And a partial refund was refused. Stay somewhere else!

There needs to be better signage showing ways to the parking from the elevators inside. Also the parking is really far. Most people were quite lost trying to find a shorter way to get to their cars.

The hotel is in a convenient location. I don’t believe the price fits the overall stay. The room is basic, the outdoor pool was closed but I was told it would be open. The indoor pool is rusted. We were even told by workers the Sheraton is a better option.

Everything was excellent Except for the elevators. We were on the 12th floor and after waiting over 10 minutes had to take the stairs down 12 flights with our suitcases. We ended up on the basement and the cleaning staff had to direct us as to where the other exit was to get to the lobby. We were lucky that we didn't miss our Uber who waited patiently for us outside the hotel to bring us to the airport. There were no signs anywhere indicating that the elevators weren't working

The shower was rusty, chipped, and dirty. Hair was on the shower walls. We had to ru. the shower water for 10 mins for it to get hot. The bed was really low to the floor and uncomfortable. The bathroom set up was ackward. No place to store things. Toilet was super low to the floor. The room had an odor when we arrived. It was dark when we entered and couldn’t find a light switch, could have easily got hurt.

We were asked upon arrival if it was okay to put us in a room with 2 doubles instead of the king that i reserved. The man made it sound as if he was going to put us in a better room where there would be less noise and a better view. It's 3:30am and i was just awakened again by people in the hallway. Not only is it not quiet,but you can hear everything that happens on this floor. The doors dont close gently, they slam, every word every person says can be heard. All the traffic outside can be heard and this is the 15th floor. I've been awakened at least 10 times and I sleep with earplugs! I even stuffed towels in the large gap under the door to try to lessen some of the noise. I would not recommend staying here if you need to sleep.

The property is large and confusing to around, from the parking garage to the front desk feels like an endless journey, recommend walking around and through the front entrance. The room was well decorated and our view was beautiful. The king sized bed was very comfortable. It is quite noisy & the toilet is insanely loud when flushing. The bathroom is also very small. Average spot for a quick stay, probably fun for large parties.

The room was nice, spacious, and comfortable, but I got put in an accessible room with a bathroom that had no shower separation. When taking a shower, the entire bathroom floor was soaked and water even leaked onto the carpet a bit. There was little to no sound proofing so I could hear anyone coming down the hallways when in the room.

Arrived around 2:30pm. Was told there were no rooms available and couldn’t check in until 4. I’ve stayed here before and arrived before checkin time and never had any issues checking in a little early. Was told someone would call when room was ready. Didn’t get a call until basically 5 and it seemed like they had no rooms available at all because everyone that was checking in that day were waiting in the lobby for hours to get a room. It was just very inconvenient and put me behind schedule to get me to my destination in the city that day. Probably won’t stay at the hotel again.

The room was spacious, and clean. Room service was top notch! Ms. Stephanie at the front desk provided excellent customer service. I wish all reps were like her. Ms. Stephanie remembered our names, served with a smile and answered all of our questions in a professional courteous manner. She made our experience wonderful!

Had asked the front desk for help multiple times to only be ignored repeatedly. All of the furniture was chipped and poor condition. the floors throughout the hotel especially the bathroom in our room were so sticky. there was a girl screaming all night long and the hotel did nothing so we spent $600 to not sleep.

When we pulled up there was no valet so we had to valet thru the Sheraton next door. We paid for breakfast thru out booking and the hotel refused to give us vouchers for it. Luckily the restaurant manager was nice enough to acknowledge it. When we were trying to leave they would not get us bell service until I went and got my own cart and begged someone to help me push it down. I was traveling with my elderly mother and young daughter and could not handle all the luggage on my own. Claims to be a 4 star hotel but more like a 3

We staid one night and booked through hotels.com however the hotel also charged us for the full night. So we were charged twice for a one night stay and have not been able to get in touch with the staff to get the issue fixed. We have left voicemails with the billing department that have not been returned hoping this review will help get someones attention.

Good afternoon I had an amazing stay with you all. I just wanted a day to celebrate me and my new promotion. When I arrived James was very professional and informative of the property. He was very welcoming every time i passed through. Dinner at the Sheraton was really good with the exception of the crab dip but that was not anything major the manager was nice enough to take it off my bill. Valeria I may be spelling her name wrong but she was my waitress who was also very nice and professional. Overall I had a great stay, I was able to eat dinner, swim a little and visit the roof top as my day away. The beds were nice and comfortable and the room was nice and clean. As a general manager in the hotel industry we know some people will take time out to do a bad review before they do a good review so i always feel like it’s important to give credit when do. I will definitely visit again when time allows me.

The hotel was very nice. The decor is modern and unique which we liked and the front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The Wi-Fi wasn’t working in the room, so they provided us with access to the member lounge which was nice. If we needed to use the computer for a long time it would have been quite an inconvenience to be in the lounge all day, but fortunately we only needed to get online for a few minutes each day for work related stuff. The hotel is in a good location overall but a bit of a walk to the rest of the uptown area. Room was clean and had standard amenities but our only complaint was the bathroom setup. There was no countertop, so toiletries all had to be put under the sink or outside the bathroom. Otherwise all was good. Overall it was great. I would definitely stay here again especially for the price. It’s a great value.

The parking garage was super far from the main lobby. It was inconvenient and there were no carts! So, had to carry all of our things half a mile just to check in. And then the same to check out. The bathroom was small. The toilet was loud and did not flush well. There was no fan so everything was damp after the shower. The mini fridge didn’t work. The toilet paper holder kept falling off. The hotel staff were great.

This is a nicely renovated property attached to a large convention/meeting center. The hotel is located on the edge of downtown that was sparsely populated during non-work days (holidays/weekends) making it a fairly long walk that is dimly lit for several blocks. That said, we had no issues and hotel staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is in an amazing location walking distance to everything and the bar on the top had amazing views of the Charlotte skyline. Room was clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint is that the walls were super thin and we could hear everything in the room next door (if you know what I mean). I would stay here again.

Onsite Amenities: Disappointing The coffee bar is indefinitely closed due to staffing issues, and the rooftop bar is a missed opportunity. The furniture and accessories appear to be sourced from HomeGoods, and they serve martinis in plastic martini-shaped "glasses." The restaurant at the attached Sheraton is just okay, which seems to serve as the lobby bar. The atmosphere is unimpressive. Rooms: Poor Quality While the Le Méridien rooms feature new carpet and decent-looking furniture, the old AC unit and lack of maintenance made me feel like I should have saved my money and stayed at the Sheraton. Location: Convenient but Inconvenient The location is good in terms of proximity, but it lacks walkability to nearby restaurants or bars. Crossing the highway on foot was uncomfortable. Service: Excellent The staff was friendly and accommodating. If I were to stay here again, it would be solely because of the excellent service.

The location was great to see a concert at the Ovens Auditorium. The staff was very nice. This location shares the Sheridan Hotel bar and restaurant. The odor of marijuana was present in the lobby but I guess you can’t help avoiding that. Buffet breakfast over pierced for the offerings, $25 per person.

Entrance to gym had a big puddle and buckets for leakage around the gym facilities. We arrived at the hotel with 10 suitcases and there were no trolleys available. Two men behind the check-in counter offered to watch my luggage while I go back and fourth with my luggage to my room and did not offer to help. Fridge did not work, when requested a new one, one was delivered, however it did not work and all of our groceries went bad, when manager was contacted, he was non responsive.
