Stayed 2 nights

We booked a two-night stay of 3-bedrooms unit. The condition of the 3-bedroom unit was highly unsatisfactory and fell significantly below reasonable accommodation and maintenance standards. During our stay, we encountered the following issues: The air conditioning unit in one of the bedrooms was leaking water and was unable to cool the room properly. The air conditioning unit in the second bedroom was completely faulty and unusable. The water taps at the sink in the third bedroom were not functioning. These issues caused considerable discomfort and inconvenience to my family, particularly given the warm weather conditions. Functional air conditioning and basic plumbing facilities are essential amenities, and it was unacceptable that multiple facilities within the unit were defective. Despite raising these matters with the property manager, no satisfactory solution could be provided. As he was unable to arrange a replacement 3-bedroom apartment for the second night of our stay, my family of eight had no alternative but to check into a hotel at our own additional expense. The property was not accurately represented in terms of its habitability, maintenance condition, and overall readiness for guests.

The good - location is excellent and you’re right in the centre of the action. Communication was great with instructions on how to access the property which you will need as it isn’t straight forward. The pool is nice enough. The bad: the actual room we had wasn’t great in that it was kinda run down and needs some maintenance. The bathroom was not present at all but did have hot water. We had to supply our own toilet paper, shampoo but they did have towels and clean linen. Tv worked but screen was damaged. Has a working washing machine and fridge.

Arrived and was designated a room by the local who hardly spoke any English. We dropped off our luggage in the assigned room and went out. In the evening during our family dinner in a restaurant. The local called my mobile and spoke Malay. Insisting we change room and come back immediately to return him the key. He insisted we were given the wrong room and must return the key. Kept asking were we were and how long to come back. It ruined our family dinner as it was my mom’s first trip since my father passed away. We rushed through dinner and went back. He took away our keys and ushered us to another room. Then gave us a new key and left us. I looked around the room and realised it was a horrible. Black powdery mould was on the walls and there were ants. The beds smelled mildly sweaty and several of the lights didn’t even work, making the house gloomy and foreboding. At night when the lights went out, cockroaches crawled out and we found them scurrying around when we turned on the lights to go to the toilet. The toilet was like an army barrack style shower with absolutely nothing but a spout. When I messaged the management, they ignored my messages. My mom and children were too discouraged and just told me to forget it, this is how they operate around here. We left early the next day. The windows, walls and doors were deteriorating badly. We also discovered they stored extra bedsheets in dirty and unsanitary areas. Hotel.com. needs to reevaluate accepting this location.

If only some renovation can be done. Some parts of the apartment needs it. One of the socket point is out of order. Sad that the towels was not dried by the time we checked in. Though they had washing machine. It rained. Waiting area and lift was pretty warm. Rm view was ok. Cannot complaint too much for the gd location n price. But host was prompt to reply message. Maybe pls service the aircon regularly. It was leaking water when we were there.
