The front area very nice with fountain..Nice bar area but wasn't opened..Didnt like that one elevator out of order and the only one running had an issue with the breaker..The stairways on lead to the outside and you can not use to enter different floors if elevator is shut down youd be SOL..kind of nervevoous ..Pool water not as heated and the Air colder in the pool area..Pool area was not kept up wet towels all over the ground and had to call the front lobby for them to replace with clean towels..

Zero signage on the building to imply I was at a hotel, outdoor area completely run down, bathroom ceiling had holes, shower screeched every time I put the hot water on, chose hotel because it contained a bar/restaurant - did not find out till check in that it was not available.

This hotel is terrible. There were so many things wrong with it. First I booked it for the pool, breakfast and pictures. None of these were accurate. The pool was cloudy the whole time we were there. The elevator was dangerous and one was broken. The whole place smelled musty and smoky. The bathroom in the lobby was disgusting with poop in almost every stall. The bed squeaked every time we moved. The stairs were inaccessible besides going down. The fitness center was small and one of the treadmills was broken.

Decent stay, place is under renovation. The renovated portions look nice. Our room was well equipped, but the bathroom was only partially remodeled and had basic cosmetic coverups in place. The fitness center was very basic, had treadmills, elliptical, recumbent bike, basic cable weight machine, and oddly a weight bench but no free weights to use with it. Also need antiseptic wipes in the gym for before/after usage of the equipment. Breakfast was very good. Only 1 elevator in operation, so long waits for it, as the stairwells didn't have interior entrances on the 1st floor. Overall a good stay. Was pretty quiet despite being sold out.

It was truly disappointing to only learn at the last minute that there would be no restaurant or bar open and only one elevator working during Dad's weekend (one of the busiest days of the year). I'm really surprised by the poor scheduling and lack of backup plans. Employees were nice, but it really should not have been handled this way :-(

One of the elevators was out of order and the other was EXTREMELY slow. 10-15 minute waits for a five floor hotel elevator seemed ridiculous. The stairs were not accessible from the inside. You had to go outside to go up the stairs and the keys would not let you in the bottom door anyway. Very low water pressure in shower. Almost had to lean against faucet wall to rinse hair.

The hotel was being converted from one brand to a new brand. There was only one creaky elevator working. The room was missing a rack for the toilet paper, the towel racks on the glass shower doors were loose, it needed painting and some finish work in the bathroom. The internet was vey slow, even though the hotel was almost empty. the staff as fine and courteous. there was a business station, but it did not work, so I was unable to print some sheets I wanted.

Staff was friendly, but the room was dirty and smelled horrible. Immediately there was a STRONG body odor smell. There soap drops and mud on the floor. Hair in the bathroom sink, the wall in the bathroom had scuff marks and dirt on it and was bubbled from water damage they painted over and There was mold around the shower drain. They are likely short staffed and rushing as they were still cleaning rooms when we arrived at 530pm

Pictures are very deceiving this place is under renovation they gave us a room that is not complete. Bathroom has mold in the shower. Door lock does not even work is falling out of the door. Floors are not clean. Dirt and oldness everywhere. Wyndham needs to update their pictures or not give rooms that are not ready for stay

The carpet outside our door was filthy! Our toilet seat was missing a bolt to attach it to the toilet. The toilet paper holder was missing, so the toilet paper was just on the counter. There was long hairs on the pillows of one of the beds.

Room had fries on floor when I checked in, shower was out of soap, room service never showed up, their reason was I had do not disturb on, which is not true, that tag wasn’t even available in my room … overall below average experience.

Booking and check in were fine, but room quality is essentially a fresh coat of paint over a recently abandoned hotel. Bathroom shower flooded the floor, sinks werent level so didnt drain properly, no iron or ironing board in the room. Just many issues stacked up.

My room shares a wall with the pool and I can hear absolutely everything. I understand that you have other guests, but it will be too loud for several hours. I've been up since 5am. I know quiet hours start at 10, but again, sharing a wall with a main lobby area without proper sound insulation is a special level of hell that I didn't anticipate.

I had to switch rooms because the room they gave me had bugs flying around and all in the toilet on the first floor. Then the ventilation was poor, you could barely cool the room. The second room on the third floor was a lot better. Caught 1 bug flying around but didn’t see anymore. The ventilation was a little better but could’ve been better. My overall stay was okay, besides the bug and ventilation issues.

The room was clean, looked nice, newly updated room. TV didn't work the 1st night but maintenance came early the next morning and fixed it. We notified him while he was there the the shower head was broken, he stated he would come back and fix it while we were out. We were in town for the Illinois game. When we got i. That evening the shower head was not fixed. We notified the front desk, who offered to change rooms but it was late, we were tired from being out all day. Long story short the room had a few issues but the Manager Anthony comped us 1 night of our stay to make up for it. After they get all of the renovations completed it should be a very nice hotel.

Rebecca at the front desk was excellent! Property was clean and quiet, beds comfortable. Wifi was unavailable in a 5th floor room but worked outside thr room- could actually pick up wifi from other nearby hotels- maybe boost that a little. Stay was excellent

Only one elevator works. After the football there was a line where we waited for 20 minutes to use. The lobby is very nice, past that it is awful. I talked to many of the quests who will not stay there again. Room was hot and old. It’s too bad because we come every weekend, I’ll also never stay there again. I waste of money.

Great location and proximity to campus. Very comfortable room and bed. I would like to see the second elevator in working order. With only two in the facility, one of which was out of service, it was slow getting up and down to the floors. Also, I know they are in the process of turning over the property but my room had peeling wallpaper and some ¼” holes needing patching. The wall could use a bit of care.

Hotel will be great after renos, no doubt. 1 of 2 elevators in service. 1st room was dirty & replacement was clean but lacking supplies & stale air. Obviously not checked or aired out for a week or so. Half the outlets in our room had no power. Hair dryer was broken. Another clue the room wasn't checked. Front desk staff & Rebeka were excellent & very attentive. They acknowledged our concerns & did their best to correct our complaints. Thank you for that.

We were originally told we could check in early, but when we went to do so, the clerk was incredibly rude and denied the request. The facility is under construction and unkept. The elevator is slow and doesn’t function properly. Would not recommend

The first night I was there I was able to log onto Wi-Fi to conduct some business. The second night I could not log into Wi-Fi. I talked to the front desk who could not help. He said he would turn it off and then back on to see if that works. It didn't. I had to conduct my business by my cell phone.

We arrived 2 rooms to a guy at desk that didnt even say hello, I had to say we has 2 reservations. I asked if bar was open & he snapped back. Never a thank you. We arrive to our rooms to have NO cups, hair dryer, coffee maker. He acted like we were putting him out when we asked, we said we\'ll just share items. I get to room to realize no internet. I ask to use a conf room, he says there is a fee. I asked to be moved to another room, the AC was broke. He rrudely said I could sit in the lobby. It was a call for addicts, I could not betray their trust in public. He told me I couldnt have both, AC & wireless. I said "this is a wyndham". I told him, you could at least say "im sorry", he laughed and said "im sorry". Two guys checking in said this guy is crazy. My traveling partner didnt even feel safe, but we stayed. I had no choice, had to join call. I ended up sitting in restroom on floor.

This hotel was not ready for accepting customers. One of elevator was broken and not working and I had to wait for long line. Room is clean but room's remodeling was not finished. Closet door cannot be closed/half open. Wifi connection was worst. Too slow and not usable at night when many customers were using and I had to use my phone 5G network for PC connection. Front desk staff is not helpful and not friendly. Expedia should NOT recommend this hotel until they are ready.

They did not inform me that their elevators had been down for two months until I got there. They placed us on the top floor and expected my elderly parents to walk up several flights of stairs with luggage to get to their room. They refused to change the Floor level to the first floor and refused to give me a refund when I had to immediately check out.

Front desk was great! Just genuine nice people that took their job seriously. The Hispanic young man that checked us in was very helpful. This is the fourth hotel I have stayed in over the last four weeks and not a five star hotel but a five star front staff.

The hotel could definitely use some updates in the rooms, but I know they are under a brand switch, so it was expected. The price was very reasonable. The pool was not working the day we arrived, but it was fixed in a day. The double queen room was very spacious and had a mini fridge. The hotel lobby had a bunch of space. The bar was not open because of the hotel brand switch and were waiting for liquor license. The breakfast in the morning was a bit better than a typical continental breakfast. They did have scrambled eggs and biscuits and gravy. The hotel staff were excellent and very friendly. Great location also, right off of the main highway.

The property is far from campus, if staying for that reason, strange layout, and 2 stairways that open outside and not into the hotel, if need to take the stairs, elevators are very slow.

Not a bad stay. Hotel was clean and had a good breakfast . Pay at property is not an option.. even though it allows you to select I t, they still charged my card and had to refund my it. A 250 additional cash deposit was required if you pay cash.

The lobby has a nasty odor, our bathroom looked like it was under some kind of remodel or it was just a crappy that needed to be remodeled. there was no breakfast when we left at 8:30am even though we were told there would be. very dissappointed.
