Comfort Suites West Monroe near Ike Hamilton Expo Center

Lovely room and staff. Just wish the pool heater was working since that was the reason for my stay.

The only complain I have is the pool was freezing because it is not a heated pool.

The hotel was great. Friendly staff, clean room and hotel property. Nice pool and gym. Would stay here again.

We were in the area for a volleyball tournament in Ruston, stayed two nights. The staff was friendly enough for the most part. Hotel seemed new and clean enough on the surface but we found dirty sheets folded up in the sofa bed, hair and sticky stuff all over the bathroom floor and walls, about a dollar in loose change throughout the room, and several small random things in the closet and floors. Breakfast was typical with pancakes, waffles, eggs, sausage, and potatoes but the biscuits, danishes, and muffins were never restocked either morning, as far as we could tell. Apple juice and milk were also empty both mornings before 8:30. We booked specifically for the indoor pool but they had the windows open(it was in the mid 40’s) and the pool and pool room were neither heated. It was like ice water. We also couldn’t get the lights or music to come on in the room. When we asked the front desk if the lights worked in the pool area, she said yes and acted like she couldn’t be bothered to explain any further. Also, the entire hotel smelled funny. We couldn’t put our finger on what it was but it was a dirty/unpleasant smell. All of that being said, for almost $400, I think we’ll stay elsewhere next time. I am usually not too picky about hotels as long as they’re clean and comfortable but this one was just a little lacking in both of those areas.

Nice and clean hotel. Only downside was the pool was not heated and the chlorine level was too high.

Shower curtain was dirty with splatter as well as mold at the bottom. Commode also had mold. Room was dusty and crummy throughout. Both duvet covers on beds were stained and one had makeup on it. Kitchenette is basically empty. No way to wash dishes (soap, paper towels). No spoons. One glass, two plates, two bowls. Pool is not heated. No fault to the hotel but good to know - the gym is just outside the pool and we observed sopping wet children in there. We wiped the floor with multiple towels before working out. Several children running up and down our hall knocking on doors as well as on the floor above us. We called the front desk twice.

Decent stay, nice staff. Wasn't pleased with the complementary breakfast. Had no flavor. The pool is not heated and was super cold. So don't expect a swim unless it's summer. We went during March.

Paid for a hotel with an indoor pool. They told me sunday when i booked that day additionally that the pool would be open that night....... they lied for 3 days every day saying it would open later in the day. Dissapointed, however the room was great.

We loved how convenient this location was to get to and from off the interstate. There was also a nice gas station and Denny's within walking distance. Plus a grocery Walmart across the street. The breakfast was ok. During the 3 days we stayed the pool was closed. The lobby bathrooms were nice and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again.

Extremely friendly front desk. Well lit, safe location near numerous restaurants. Very clean upon entry. Room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommend.

Our stay was horrible we were only there for 2 hours before we left to find another hotel. First off it stated there was an indoor pool but did not say it was closed for repair when we booked online. Got to the room the room was dirty hair all over the tub and toilet the floor tiles in the shower move when walked on there was hair on the sheets and the couch was dirty and uncomfortable. If ur thinking of staying here don't find somewhere else to stay.

It was kind of concerning - however did not smell above the ground floor. Our room had a slightly sloping floor - you could also see that the door was not hanging square in its frame. The room was good other than the floor issue.

So clean and convenient

The room we were in had stained furniture and the bathrooms had brown moldy stuff.

Staff was very friendly. Room was very spacious and really clean! We enjoyed our stay!

We stayed in 311 and air conditioning did not work properly. Would not cool well at night. Reported it and didnt get fixed. Always like to stay at comfort inn and suites but the price was way too high and bed were uncomfortable. We had to stay due to storm in our local area and we had no power for 3 days.

Shade in the room didn’t go down so the light from the parking or shined directly in the room! Front desk staff said there was no one who could fix it till tomorrow am. That will not help us in the middle of the night with bright light shining in. The room above us ran around all night kids stomping on the floor!

Easy to get to.staff very helpful,

After check-in we found that the TV did not work. The staff said they could not take care of the problem until the next day and would give us a discount for the evening. They did not give us a discount as promised. The next day we found the TV was replaced. My wife also found that some one took a "dump" in our toilet and did not flush it. She was horrified and sick to find this in our room. The Staff or anyone else didn't even give us an apology for such a vulgar discretion. It is such a shame this new property has chosen to pick profits over customer satisfaction and comfort.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The floors do not have any sound cushion AT ALL! You hear every step someone takes ! Front desk doesn’t care ! They do not try to accommodate your needs. DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS HOTEL !

My stay here was relaxing, to say the least. The area is very quiet and easy. If you’re looking for a place away hustle and bustle of the big cities this place will be perfect for you.

It’s location was convenient to our venue for the weekend.

I went to Louisiana for the holidays to see my daughter and Granddaughter, my stay there was wonderful. The staff was very friendly and informative.Room was big and clean, good location as well. Within walking distance of a few necessity places!

The Breakfast offered needs improvement 1)No juices available...machine problem 2) No regular creamer...only flavored 3) Eggs dry and hard..sitting too long in warmer 4) Iscuits awful...pre cooked type

The room was excellent in every aspect, the breakfast was hot with a good variety, and the staff was kind and helpful.

Great hotel, very clean. Breakfast was good. Beds a little hard but most are now days.

The front desk lady that was there at checkin and check out was very nice and polite! We didn’t ever see the breakfast staff and there were things we were looking for and could’ve used some assistance. There was very little silverware out and no knives. The pancake machine was working either. We did like the little muffins and that they were wrapped so our kiddos could grab one for the long car ride.

Everything was great. However, breakfast pastries were tough and probably been there at least a week. Pastries were not fresh at all. It was recommended at the front desk to be sure to microwave the biscuits for at least 30 seconds, but even then, they were tough and rubbery. Sausage links were freezer burned. Breakfast was horrid, but everything else was a great experience. Staff and room were great. Breakfast was horrible.

The continental breakfast was the biggest plus! Clean room, wasn't noisy. Staff was pleasant. I would rent this location again

Hotel was nice...but the breakfast needs help..biscuits looked horrible...powder eggs...no bacon...sausages wasnt good either...they need up they breakfast choices...both nights on floor above me half the night it was very very loud!! Seem like kida running jumping banging half the night..even my own kids complained of the noise...i dont see how front desk disnt hear it...
