This is the first hotel that I've stayed at that didn't have a ground floor entry lobby and reception desk. We were directed to the second floor bar and lounge area to be checked in by a young woman at her laptop computer. The staff was friendly enough, and when I said that this arrangement was rather strange, her response was "Yes! We're different." When we reached our room I was taken aback by the furnishings and decor. It was a small room for two people, and it had no area for storing luggage amd little space to hang clothing. The furnishings were minimal and more like in a college dormitory than in very good rated hotel. Other than for the bed, which was comfortable, there was not on other soft surface in the room. The appointments in the bath were minimal without even a towel bar to use for safety. Being an architect, I could see that the space was poorly dimensioned and probably didn't meet standard building codes. Additionally, the sink was located in the sleeping area adjacent to what was supposed to be a desk. There was just one hard chair in the room, and I had to request another chair to put luggage on. The final insult was one small window in a sloping part of the ceiling from which we could see nothing. I have no idea what other rooms in the hotel looked like, but I will never recommend this hotel based on what I experienced though the one very positive feature was the excellent breakfast that was served.

Prettig Hotel in het centrum van Porto. Alles is op loopafstand te bereiken. Je auto kan aan de overkant in een parkeergarage en de betaling loopt via de receptie van het Hotel. Het Hotel en de kamers zijn van een moderne entourage. Als het erg druk is, is de ontbijtruimte een beetje aan de kleine kant. Ontbijtspits is meestal rond 9 uur.

The hotel was fine. decent location not too far from the sights. Few bars and a really good market close by. No safes in the room or tea and coffee facilities. It served its purpose. Was relatively quiet too. Aircon was good. Shower tray overfilled if you had the water on too high.

We stay here for 3 nights the staff was very accommodating and helpful. We liked how this hotels situation is very close to the action of Bolhao market. Subway, shopping strips etc, but the location is in a quiet neighborhood! My only issue is the bathroom is small and the toilet and shower design isn’t the best, but still functional. We also would have liked it if they added a fridge. Overall excellent Hotel very clean and rooms are as decribed , would recommend to anyone visiting Porto

Die Toilette war nicht sauber, wir haben selbst nachgeputzt, es fehlte ein Handtuch. Das haben wir uns an der Rezeption abgeholt. Eine Reserverolle Toilettepapier gab es nicht. Das Zimmer war recht klein (keine Ablagefläche für einen normalgrossen Koffer, nur 2 Bügel, keine Garderobenhaken für eine Jacke) wurde während unseres Aufenthalts nicht gereinigt. Das erwarte ich eigentlich in dieser Preiskategorie. Die USB-Dose links vom Bett funktionierte nicht. Die Auswahl beim Frühstück war mittelmäßig, den angeblich verfügbaren Joghurt auf dem Buffet gab es an beiden Tagen nicht. Die Obstauswahl bestand aus Weintrauben und Orangen. Die Frühstücksteller waren zum Teil noch mit Resten behaftet, so dass man sich saubere erst im Stapel heraussuchen musste. Den Tisch muss man später selbst abräumen, es hatte den Charakter einer Kantine oder Mensa. Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut, ich würde das Hotel aber nicht wieder buchen.

Nice shower, bathrooms were good. Having the small balcony was really nice. The hotel was kept very clean! The staff were friendly. Bed sheets were too hot for the season. You had to ask to have the room temperature changed. A few more hangers would have been nice. Overall, VERY happy with the hotel.

But windowless room, unfriendly staff (one staff member got really upset because a group of guests didn't remove their breakfast tray after eating), small, busy elevators that during busy hours would mean waiting for several minutes before an elevator was free to go up to the 6th floor.

Service and check in was excellent. Room was large enough with sufficient space for our clothes etc., but was quite basically furnished. The mattress was quite well used and would probably benefit from being replaced. The screen in the shower was too short to prevent water getting onto the bathroom floor. The hotel is in a great location to easily walk to all of the tourist attractions and bars and restaurants etc. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was good value for money.

The staff were over the top. Everyone made us feel so comfortable and welcome...we could easily live there. The food service staff were so kind. There are not enough adjectices to describe the direct service staff; Francisco, Katerina and Tanya were amazing; always there to make our stay more enjoyable; our visit to your beautiful city more meaningful for us. Staff were very good especially those on reception. The man on reception when er arrived on Wednesday 30 April was very friendly and helpful and suggested several local restaurants that provided great service and food. And on the following morning the lady on reception resolved an issue we had with the TV whilst we were out. Other staff we came in contact were all pleasant providinggood service.

The receptionist Katerina was so helpful and friendly. The location of hotel was great, kind of mid town area, a little walk out of the main port area but lovely. Rooms nice and clean and we had balcony which was very pretty.

Sehr praktisch und perfected Lage. Wir gingen zu Fuss zum Duoro und haben dabei etwa 25-30 min gebraucht (nur Bergab). Kleine Läden und restaurant in unmittelbarer nähe, sowie den Mercado Bolhão zu dem es 2 Min zu Fuss sind.

Rent och snyggt. Riktigt bra läge. Men väl mycket folk vid frukosten, reception och hissar. Frukostbuffén var rätt utplockad. De hade behövs vara snabbare med att fylla på och hålla den snygg och aptitlig.
