Overall the room was decent for the price. Room was decently clean and beds were good. Kitchen was small but usable. Laundry in the building was unusable however. The drying machines had water in them and smelled like sewage.

Good location - not touristy. The staff was nice and pleasant but definitely NOT a concierge! Property is old and seems not as clean or well - kept as it should be. Laundry facility was dirty and two of three dryers were out of order. The "nightstand" shelf was broken, as were the shower doors, and the shower drain was clogged. Lastly, the room was WAY too small for 3 beds and 3 people. This property would be great for two people who simply need a place to sleep that has easy access to the transportation system or who want a local neighborhood experience.

Modern apartment in a prime central location with easy access to trains and buses. The one-bedroom layout was spacious enough for our family of four. The kitchen was well stocked, and having a laundry room in the basement was a big plus. The only downside was that the bedroom didn’t have good air conditioning—while the living room was comfortable, a fan in the bedroom would have made a big difference

Clean apartment but room was small however we had a street view balcony to have drinks in the late afternoon and breakfast in the morning. Big positive is many restaurants very close and good quality. For the price it represents value.

I had a phenomenal time in Switzerland and enjoyed having INSIDE FIVE as a home base. There was enough room for the four of us-- and we especially enjoyed late nights on the courtyard! Cheers.

We arrived at the check in time and no one answered the call box, so we called the number on the door. Someone answered and said they would be down in a couple minutes. 10 minutes later, we were finally let in. Only two of the three washing machines and one of the three dryers was working, but there weren't any signs saying they were out of order. Also, there are signs in the unit saying if you don't follow cleaning instructions, you could be charged an extra $60, and daily room cleaning is an extra $10 per day per person. I don't know if this is normal in Zurich, but it's the first time I have seen it. The unit was spacious and the cost was affordable in comparison to other properties.

Sweet staff once we met them. Contacting them before arrival was impossible, we tried 3 different times and we had no luck. The room in general seemed clean until we took a closer look. The corners were filled with dust and spider webs on the floor and on the walls by the bed, and there was only one outlet on one side of the bed. We booked with a kitchen, and once we needed to use the kitchen utensils, everything was very dirty and we had to clean them before use... We also only had 2 of everything making it very hard to cook. 2 large flat plates, one bowl for eating, 2 spoons, 2 butter knives, 2 table spoons, 2 teaspoons, one cooking soon, one sort-of steak knife, just one or two of everything. The top shelf of the fridge was not useable due to the roof of it being so wet, it was dripping so much water onto the shelf that every item got wet. The freezer had so much frost on it due to no defrosting in a long time, leaving very little space inside of the freezer for actual items to be stored. The drain cover in the shower was not stuck properly and would move around a lot. Also no extra garbage bags, and no bags in the bathroom garbage. The oven had not been cleaned and had aluminum foil on the pan. The mattress of the bed was very comfortable, and when checking out, the staff came up to our room due to a misunderstanding but it was nice to get things sorted face to face. We were also allowed to check in 2 hours early, making our life easier due to us having a lot of luggage.

We were very disappointed in our stay. The room was late being ready and we had to wait in the lobby even though we actually showed up after the check in time. The bed only had one single comforter for the queen size bed and two people. We wanted to turn on the fan as the room was very stuffy, but the fan was so grimy and almost disgusting, the night table beside the bed was broken and unusable, and overall the room was not well cared for. The walls are very thin and not noise resistant at all. We could hear people talking and using the bathroom etc. It is quite a walk from downtown. While we were aware, it seemed further than advertised. In general, not a great stay!

We found the room crowded as could only get in to bed from one side, they did clean the room but it still had dust around the windows and on top of surfaces the one thing that left us not feeling that they clean the rooms well was as we opens the freezer we found it to be covered with frozen blood and that night wife woke up saying she felt something crawling on her leg. Check in went well on one room as could leave bags in room and second room was 30 minutes late and the bed was a double not a queen as requested

HORRIBLE! My wife and I travel extensively and the was THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. No hot water first day. Called phone number listed as hotel contact but was answered by owner/manager (or someone). The man was rude, angry that we called, and uninterested in helping. He told us to call the office (his was the only number listed. We had no office phone number). No channel changer. Horrible beds and pillows. Old, run down unit with horrible, offensive stench. Candy, empty water bottles and a thick layer of dust under the bed. I had to shower immediately after arriving at the next hotel to wash the unclean feeling I still had from Inside Five. Would NEVER, EVER, EVER stay there again.

Even with directions, check-in is confusing. The directions sent via Hotels.com were outdated. There is an office, but the person wasn’t in it, although they were on-site. The place is pretty worse for wear, and isn’t worth the value we paid for the one night we stayed. Basic cleaning and dusting of high-contact areas was done, like the sink/shower/toilet, but not the walls and moldings. There were stains on the wall next to the table, and underneath, sliding down the side of the wall. The sheets and towels were clean. The comforter on the bed was made for a twin size bed, not for two people in a double.

Leider haben wir nicht die gebuchte und zusätzlich bezahlte Zimmerkategorie zugewiesen bekommen. Statt des 35 qm Classic-Zweibettzimmer haben wir nur das 22 qm Zweibettzimmer bekommen. Zur Reklamation war das Office dann aber nicht mehr besetzt. Auch am nächsten Tag war der Mitarbeiter nicht anwesend, nur eine englischsprechende Reinigungskraft riet mir ihn telefonisch zu erreichen. Auch am Abreisetag war das Office entgegen der täglichen Öffnungszeit von 10-18 Uhr nicht besetzt. Die Erreichbarkeit ist wirklich unterirdisch!!! So konnte ich unsere falsche Zimmerkategorie nie vor Ort und persönlich reklamieren. Was mir später erst auffiel, auch in der Expedia-Buchungsbestätigung steht keine Zimmerkategorie drauf. So hatte ich eigentlich gar nichts in der Hand, um das nachzuweisen, was ich wirklich gebucht hatte. Achtet bitte darauf, dass auf eurer Bestätigung die Kategorie draufsteht. Das Zimmer war aber sehr sauber, besonders das Badezimmer war neu gemacht und absolut in Ordnung. Allerdings war die Küche mehr als spärlich eingerichtet. Kein Dosenöffner, keine Schere um gekaufte Produkte zu öffnen. Keine Weingläser, keine kleinen Frühstücksteller, nur ein Teelöffel, kein Salzstreuer etc. Die Aussage von schalldichten Zimmer ist absolut falsch, man hört alles, auch lautes Gerede. Sonst war die Lage sehr gut, zu Fuß vom Bahnhof erreichbar und in einer ruhigen Wohngegend.

Location of this property was good. The bed, pillows and blankets were not good. The show was so small you can hardly move once inside. Also no air conditioner in the room. The staff were wonderful!

Sweet staff once we met them. Contacting them before arrival was impossible, we tried 3 different times and we had no luck. The room in general seemed clean until we took a closer look. The corners were filled with dust and spider webs on the floor and on the walls by the bed, and there was only one outlet on one side of the bed. We booked with a kitchen, and once we needed to use the kitchen utensils, everything was very dirty and we had to clean them before use... We also only had 2 of everything making it very hard to cook. 2 large flat plates, one bowl for eating, 2 spoons, 2 butter knives, 2 table spoons, 2 teaspoons, one cooking soon, one sort-of steak knife, just one or two of everything. The top shelf of the fridge was not useable due to the roof of it being so wet, it was dripping so much water onto the shelf that every item got wet. The freezer had so much frost on it due to no defrosting in a long time, leaving very little space inside of the freezer for actual items to be stored. The drain cover in the shower was not stuck properly and would move around a lot. Also no extra garbage bags, and no bags in the bathroom garbage. The oven had not been cleaned and had aluminum foil on the pan. The mattress of the bed was very comfortable, and when checking out, the staff came up to our room due to a misunderstanding but it was nice to get things sorted face to face. We were also allowed to check in 2 hours early, making our life easier due to us having a lot of luggage.

Even with directions, check-in is confusing. The directions sent via Hotels.com were outdated. There is an office, but the person wasn’t in it, although they were on-site. The place is pretty worse for wear, and isn’t worth the value we paid for the one night we stayed. Basic cleaning and dusting of high-contact areas was done, like the sink/shower/toilet, but not the walls and moldings. There were stains on the wall next to the table, and underneath, sliding down the side of the wall. The sheets and towels were clean. The comforter on the bed was made for a twin size bed, not for two people in a double.

Property was easily accessible from the train station. About a 15 minute walk on nice sidewalks. Room was nice enough for the price. The staff was helpful and kind and allowed us to store our bags and actually checked us in early.

The room had everything we needed and the WiFi was good. Was really hot which made sleeping difficult, there were fans which helped a little. Can’t blame them for this though as property does say no air conditioning. Main issue was communication. I had to chase for check in instructions and I also asked about leaving luggage on the last day which is available but nobody replied to the message and nobody was in the office to ask.

My daughter and I had one night stay. The day of departure, we booked a tour around the hotel office hours of 10-6 as we needed to leave our bags. We waited for 35 minutes at the office, until 10:35. Our tour was at 11. While waiting we sent an email and received no response. Email I received informed there would be someone there from 10:00 to 6:00 for clients who would like to leave their luggage. We ended up leaving our luggage with a couple who was able to wait longer. When we returned to leave the staff told us she arrived at 10:45. I find this not good customer service.

Despite the email stating that a team member would assist during check-in, this was not our experience. We followed the instructions and rang the bell for the office, but we waited for 10 minutes with no response. Ultimately, it was a fellow guest—who was also waiting for assistance—who let us in. Once inside, we waited another 10-20 minutes to be checked in. The staff member who finally assisted us also appeared to be a member of the cleaning staff. We arrived at the check in time and no one answered the call box, so we called the number on the door. Someone answered and said they would be down in a couple minutes. 10 minutes later, we were finally let in. Only two of the three washing machines and one of the three dryers was working, but there weren't any signs saying they were out of order. Also, there are signs in the unit saying if you don't follow cleaning instructions, you could be charged an extra $60, and daily room cleaning is an extra $10 per day per person. I don't know if this is normal in Zurich, but it's the first time I have seen it. The unit was spacious and the cost was affordable in comparison to other properties.

The best thing about this place is it's location. We were a 6 minute walk to our tour/excursion and 8 minute walk to the train station, so we didn't have to worry about transportation. We knew it would be a tight squeeze for our family of 5, but the price was good. We had to arrive late at night and we received an email after hours with a code to a key box. Everything went smoothly. Place was clean. For as expensive as Zurich is, we found this to be a more affordable option, and knew we would not be spending much time in the room. Would recommend based on location, cleanliness and affordability.

La zona es muy bonita y tranquila, con un montón de restaurantes, y bien situada, a 20 min. andando de la estación central. Lo que menos me gustó: la dotación de manaje era la mínima. Éramos 3 personas y nos dejaron en el apartamento 3 cucharas, 3 tenedores y 2 cuchillos (que apenas cortaban), 3 vasos, 3 tazas.... ¡Vaya con la exactitud suiza, que roza la tacañería!

Muy bien situado, limpio, cómodo con un pequeño jardín , un barrio tranquilo y cerca del centro. Las habitaciones muy agradables y completas. Mejoraría simplemente el menaje en la cocina y añadiría cafetera y cápsulas de café como tenía hace unos años.

After reading a lot of reviews, I'm nervous about the stay. Turn out it was a good stay. We travel as three friends and need a bigger room to stay together. The room is good for a family, clean, and the price is reasonable. The area around the apartment has a kind of international vibe, so there are many international restaurants to choose from. 10-15 minutes walking distance from the main train station and attractions. They allow us to leave 1 luggage at the office for 2 days, super nice. The check-in process gives me anxiety. First, the door to enter the apartment was locked, and no one was there to open the door for you. Then we were able to enter the apartment, and where is the office to check in? Turn out the office is the closed-door room across the tiny elevator; we have to press the bell-ring and wait until someone comes to open that office for us. Other than the check-in process, we are happy with the stay.

Check in was slightly delayed because the phone number provided sometimes didn’t pick up. But they respond to email quickly and WhatsApp phone number. The room itself was good but noise from upstairs was loud as well as from the street. A fan is provided for cooling. Kitchen was great. Decent location and fair price.

“I was extremely disappointed with my experience. I arrived for check-in around 10 p.m., and there was no one at the reception, which was a disaster. When we entered the room, it was dirty, with a strange appearance, and, most frighteningly, we found bugs on the bed. After we went out for dinner and returned, there were even more insects on the bed and floor. I don’t know if it was bedbugs or something else. It was impossible to rest. We had to leave in the middle of the night and find another hotel. I do not recommend this place at all.”
