This is a really nice hotel with most rooms looking out onto the lake. The lake views were interesting and beautiful. Excellent breakfast and very attentive staff. Easy to get to Old Town on tram line near by. Our dinner in the restaurant was excellent.

We enjoyed staying at the hotel, the hotel is in close proximity to the tourist attractions in Zürich and easy to reach by car, there is a large car park next door which is also reasonably priced. We also arrived rather early and received an early check-in free of charge, which was very much appreciated. The rooms are modern and have good amenities. The staff was also very polite and helpful, we will definitely come back.

Lovely location on the lake. Room cleaning was not convenient even though we asked for room to be cleaned. Cleaning service entered our room even though we had put do not disturb on our door. Seemed short of staff for room service and at breakfast.

Concierge not available to offload luggage from taxi car to reception. Had to put all items in the stroller. Haven’t seen any staff smiling, not at the reception and not in the breakfast restaurant. We booked with a baby included, we arrived to find a normal additional bed instead of a crib (no attention to details). There was an ashtray full of cigarettes left on one of our room balconies. The air conditioning is not good; the room was hot. They don’t change amenities and refill them and they don’t clean the room well when they service it. The lights in the room are so dim (all background lights with little effect) as if they want you to stay in the room just for sleeping! Overall, it was below average experience for something that cost 1000$/night.

The room number 203 wasn’t ready when I checked in on Wednesday june 12. We found dirty and wet cleaning rag on the chair and also we found a coffee cup upside down after use.

I didn’t like the property and most of the staff. Some of them were very rude. I can only pick one or two of the staff who are polite, professional, respectful and provide good service. The cleanliness and housekeeping service are awful. I have not noticed any improvement since I gave my previous comments about my last stay from 12 to 14 June 2024

Perfectly situated on the banks of Lake Zurich, yet just a short walk from the opera and Stadelhofen station - ideal for both leisure and convenience. Breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of hot dishes and freshly prepared options available upon request. The balcony rooms are the highlight for us. Sitting outside with a direct lake view is a truly special experience and the main reason we choose this hotel time and again. Special mention to the bar lady who prepared our evening cocktails - she was not only knowledgeable but also flexible, adjusting the drinks to our preferences with care and skill. However, during our most recent stay, we noticed a decline in the reception team’s training. The staff appeared unfamiliar with the check-in system and were learning how to operate it during our arrival, which is not something you expect at a luxury hotel. Although we are regular guests and the hotel had many rooms available, we were initially denied early check-in when we arrived at noon. Only after speaking to a manager were we promptly given our room key. This could have been handled more smoothly, especially for returning guests. Overall, we remain very satisfied with our experience and will absolutely return for our next Zurich visit. The view, location, and comfort make it well worth it. Great job, and see you next time!

I was really unhappy with the stay. It’s a beautiful place, it was disappointing that the air conditioner didn’t work. It was so hot we were unable to sleep. We were up and down all night opening the door to cool the room and then closing it due to street noise. When I spoke to the desk because the hotel has air conditioning listed as an amenity, they said. “Yes we have had a lot of complaints, and the temperature is the temperature.” No effort to change the situation or refund a portion of our stay.

Overall very nice hotel. Easy to get to, lovely view from bedroom. Breakfast was quite limited and lukewarm at best and the road outside was busy and noisy all night long otherwise would have given five stars.

Pros- Clean and safe property with nice build out and lovely view from the room. Breakfast was good and service attentive. Con- unfortunately this outweighed all the pros as it affected my sleep. When we booked it said amenities include AC but it didn’t work in our room and when we asked for assistance they said it was unavailable. They suggested opening balcony door… door to street out front which is buys and noisy all night and by the time I got use to the noise I had to get up trough out the night to open and close as we could only regulate the temperature by opening and closing the door. Finally gave up after waking to cars honking and with a sore throat.

The property was beautiful and the room was designed so impressively. The furnishings and details were absolutely lovely. We especially liked the balcony with a view of the lake. Staff was welcoming and friendly. Excellent stay in a nice and busy part of Zurich.

I had an amazing time at this Ameron property. The room was amazing, the service was excellent and delightful and the staff are top notch. We had an electrical outage and the hotel's staff came to the recue right away to remedy the issue. All around a great experience - I highly recommend staying at this hotel and will absolutely return the next time I visit Zurich.

The property was nice. I tried calling receptionist three times for hotel phone with no answer. Tried messaging on there message board to no avail. We I went to reception desk, someone came out of side office, shaking my head. The breakfast and restaurant staff was amazing !!

My family recently stayed at the AMERON Zürich Bellerive au Lac. We stayed for 3 nights and the premium rooms were absolutely worth it. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well-decorated - and the view of Lake Zurich was absolutely stunning. The premium room also included free minibar service and breakfast. In addition, the hotel staff were all extremely friendly and helpful. We did have one minor issue during the stay, but the manager resolved it for us and that was greatly appreciated. Although the hotel was a bit away from the heart of the city, the distance was still walkable and one benefit was that the rooms were very quiet with no street noise. Not only would I stay here again, but considering all of these factors, this was perhaps the best hotel room that I have stayed in throughout the world.

A beautiful property with excellent staff. We greatly appreciated the location for the gorgeous view of the lake and it is right across from a badi so you can just jump right in the lake. It is also walking distance to old town and short walk to metro station.

This would have been a perfect stay but the breakfast was disappointing- it was short staffed which meant service was slower than expected. Lots of items in the buffet ran out early and weren’t replaced. This detracted from the stay

Lovely location and gorgeous room - a thoughtful welcome for us in our hotel room for our honeymoon! Decor of the hotel is beautiful and worth it if you are looking for a luxury hotel. The view from our room was fantastic! (lake view room). A slight improvement could be on the included breakfast - while the variety of food was good, the hot food should ideally be kept warmer than it was. It didn't bother us too much, but for any guests that like their food hot, I'm sure if asked the staff would be willing to accommodate. Other than that, it was perfection! Thank you
