Right off 95, but commute into Boston is lengthy. Too bad they didn’t have dinner, the bar has a few items. No pool, has a gym. Room was clean! Close to shopping and food areas.

I sincerely appreciated that there was free parking for guests. This was a big selling point for my husband and I. Most hotels charge $50+ per night for parking which is ridiculous when you’re already spending well over $1,000 for a long-term stay. We stayed 12 nights here and we loved the property. This property is secluded, but not completely isolated to where nothing is around it. Freeway entrances are right around the corner as well as gas stations. My husband and I also LOVED the free breakfast in the morning, super nice touch to this property! Staff were super friendly and were happy to get us anything extra that we needed such as toilet paper, blankets, towels, etc. The property was also very quiet, even with hosting weddings! They hosted several weddings while we were there and we couldn’t hear a thing. We definitely hope to be back!

Although the room was OK, there were no written recommendations for restaurants, or places to go in the room when arriving. The common areas like the lobby were much too hot. Room service was good. Bathroom in 127 needs tile work. Mold on shower walls. Overall, i would rate this trip as a B-.

Over $400 for a room that was obviously not cleaned and had MOLD in bathroom! Hallways stink, carpet had holes, walls all scuffed....overall hotel has been let go and looks worse than a Super 8!! From parking lot, saw several rooms with broken windows...looked like rock or bullet went through them. Not what I would expect for anything with Marriott name tied to it! Had to walk 15 minutes to find a mall for dinner, no other food options around.

Water pressure was fabulous! Room was clean, we were in the older section of the hotel. I hope they plan on remodeling. Compared to our friends room in the new wing our bathroom was small and cramped and no room to put anything on the counter. What I found really weird was there are no towel racks to hang your wet towels. Only the one that is IN the shower. My husband took a shower first and when it was my turn my towels were damp from the shower. So irritating not to have a place to hang towels. A towel rack in the shower does not work. No place to hang a hand towel. Because of all of this it made the bathroom just a chore to use. Please if you’re going to remodel rethink your bathrooms! The staff was incredibly kind and helpful. My sister in law had just lost her husband and we were there to bury him. The staff helped her with her luggage and the urn, and even found a place in their hotel fridge for the flowers for the ceremony. Like I said…incredibly kind.

Wonderful hotel at which we've stayed many times. This time, however, one of this 11 story hotel's two elevators was out of service for "renovations". This was unacceptable. In addition, room have recently been very nicely updated. The beds, however, have not. The bed in our room was saggy and appeared old.

Room was clean and modern looking...Got upgraded to a nicer room since the original room allocated had non working fridge and light ..Excellent hot breakfast including gluten free bread... Cons:Room wasn't quiet...There was a gap in the door and noise from outside would come in easily... The toilet was too loud, almost like an explosion everytime we flushed it...Portions of the floor were sticky...

Garbage room on the first floor. Apparently only the tower are the remodelled rooms (overheard at desk) but floor 1 and 2 are original. Lumpy mattress, dirty old showers, couch I wouldn’t put anything on. Smelled of smoke. Couldn’t wait to leave. Complained and just got moved to the same type of room but bigger. Pics on Expedia are not what you get in real life on floor 1 anyway.

Our stay of 4 nights had us in a room that was super dated with visible wear & sad looking space, although the carpet looked newer. Then the thermostat shorted out & we had to sleep in chilly temp until a vacancy allowed a room swap. The 2nd room was great in many ways, except the shower curtain would not stay pulled across, causing slippery wet floors, plus space at the sink was not able to hold many items. Had no hooks to place a towel in reach by the shower. Mirror with small shelf at entry needed better lighting. If you end up with a non-renovated room, it is way overpriced.

I am here for 3 weeks, and will be returning. The staff shined. Front desk Ed was fantastic. When I arrived the sink and tub were both clogged. I had an appointment and he wasted no time getting me another room. There were several other times he was very helpful. He is a genuine, caring, attentive staff . I would also like to compliment Abdul and Kim in the breakfast area who very hard working staff. They are serious about their jobs, constantly busy keeping the breakfast well stocked and extremely clean.

Tori the night shift desk lady was absolutely amazing. I give her 10 stars. Other than being woken up to the sprinkler system at 5am which the day shift employees fixed for me that was the only hiccup. Everything else was wonderfu, I would definitely stay again.

I felt the place was centrally located to Wakefield and to Salem, Massachusetts, where we were going to visit. The rooms were adequate. I think they could use a little bit more storage in the bathrooms. The front desk was extremely friendly. The breakfast was nice. There was plenty to choose from and I use the gym and I felt it was suitable for many types of exercise.

Excellent location if you’re planning to go from Salem right off the highway just a 20 minute drive. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful about local attractions was decorated very nice for the fall holiday rooms were clean when I asked for extra towels they were brought up immediately highly recommend.

The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The room was good qualify and the facility is in good condition. There's a lovely marsh pond behind the building where you can see wading birds and other critters. There is a shopping center with restaurants a short walk away. The location couldn't be better for driving as it's right off the interstate and provides easy access to the North Shore and Boston.

We had to changed room because of to many issues. we had problems with the toilet, the heating and cooling system, the room lights. After we moved to one of the renovated rooms, everything was wonderful. The staff at the front desk , the cleaning staff, the cafeteria . The location is also very convenient to Salem .

Check in was good. Staff were polite and helpful. We got an accessible room which was actually on the first floor and close to the lobby. So many hotels have their own”accessible” rooms on the top floor. Fine if there isn’t a fire or a blackout or the elevator breaks down. The breakfast was good and the coffee was good too! We would definitely stay here again!

Fast, friendly, and efficient check in. Location was easy to get to and felt safe. Everything was lovely except the pillows! My daughter (19) and I (47) hardly slept and woke up with horrible neck pain. The smoke detector also blinked in the room all night. Breakfast was very good as well but I can't say I would stay there again.
