UH Suite The Myeongdong

Had a nice time there and would stay again Pros: -spacious and ambient was nice -bed was comfy -tub is nice (it does take a long time to fill so use your time wisely as you can't unplug after 11pm or you can leave it and unplug in the morning) -bathbomb for the tubs are 13000won and smelt really nice -room was very asthetic -loved the location (close to train station, close to airport bus stop, close to shopping, close to food) -staff were so nice and easily contactable -laundry service is that they will wash and dry your clothes (no ironing options in the room. I used a wrinkle free spray I purchased in Japan) Cons: -can hear other guests stomping around -can hear people on the street so it's not very sound proof -bathroom was very stuffy but we weren't allowed to touch the aircon dials except for temperature -not a lot of hanging space or hooks considering room capacity -there was a leak in the room, possibly from the heavy rain that day -there were stains on the couches Other things to note that the only usable amenities offered are toothbrushes and toothpaste, slippers, shampoo, conditioner and body wash and water bottles. Room comes with a fridge, microwave, kettle, hairdryer

The staff cleaned our room everyday and helped wash and dry our laundry as well! We booked a suite that has 3 rooms and 4 beds for the 6 of us. It comes with a kitchen and sitting and dining areas that are very suitable for making some simple meals. The staff at the reception were great too. They helped us book a jumbo taxi to the airport, which cost similar price as the airport limousine for our party.

Very average hotel — I wouldn’t go back. This place is undeniably Instagrammable, but comfort and practicality were clearly an afterthought. It feels like a half-baked concept focused on aesthetics rather than the guest experience. Room: The bed and pillows were uncomfortable — hard mattress yet unsupportive, cheap-feeling pillows, and no master switch by the bed, which is basic in most hotels. The A/C worked but was noisy, and there’s no proper ventilation. The couch had visible stains, and a bright emergency exit sign ruined the blackout feel. Bathroom: Spacious shower with great pressure, but drainage was slow and caused flooding. The glass door lacked a stopper and could easily break. Missing basics like towel hooks or hand towels handles that makes it feel unfinished. Spa Bath: They promote salt baths but don’t provide any salts. You can’t use the tub after 11 p.m., and it takes nearly two hours to fill — impractical and disappointing. Other Issues: Noisy overall, and there was street construction at 2 a.m. during my stay. Service: Staff seemed tired and not particularly friendly, though free umbrellas and 24-hour laundry service are nice touches. Overall, a stylish but poorly executed hotel — looks great in photos but fails on comfort, rest, and real hospitality.

11月のあたまに、3泊しました。ホテルは清潔感はあります。スタッフの対応もよいです。チェックイン時にLINEでホテルとお友達になり、滞在時はLINEがホテルとの連絡ツールになります。お部屋の使い方なども、LINEに日本語できます。部屋の温度調節がわからなくて、LINEしてみたら、すぐに日本語でわかりやすい返信がきました。 お部屋は、半分がお風呂です。 そしてこのお風呂は夜11時までしか使えないとの事で、滞在中、1回しか入らなかったですが、広くて楽しかったです。水が溜まるのに2時間近くかかりましたが笑 難点は、くつろぐ場所がない事です。ソファも背もたれが低く、床にすわり、ソファにもたれていました。 なんせ、お風呂に牛耳られているので、 お風呂の周りはオシャレな石で、硬いです。 最高だったのは、 ホテルの扉でてから外が近い事です。 ぱっと、斜め前のコンビニに行けます。 全体的にオシャレではあります。 トイレもウォシュレットです。

I stayed in the 3 bedroom suite. The suite is not spacious for being a 3 bedroom suite. The living room is quite small. The windows do not have sufficient insulation therefore the coldness from the outside was coming into the room. The heater must be turned on to keep warm from the cold outside. And because of the windows, you can hear so much noise from the outside all night long, I could not sleep. And there is no parking available. I will never return to this property even if I am given a free nights stay.

Location is super convenient, really close to the subway and airport limo bus stop. Walk out of the hotel you will see endless skin care stores, restaurants, and night market booths. We stayed in the family suite with 2 separate rooms, 1 and half bathroom, and a small kitchen/dining table. It’s spacious and very comfortable. The only complaint is that no enough hot water to fill the spa bathtub. But we don’t need it anyways. The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. I would stay at this place again next time. Highly recommend it!!!

Re: Family suite (sleeps 6) but we travelled with 4ppl. The location was great with many restaurants and shopping within steps from the suite. They offered free laundry service which was a huge bonus for a family of 4. Friendly customer service and helpful at times when we needed some direction except when asking for shopping - the gentleman could not recommend any stores for children 11 years and up. The washroom in our (Family suite) was quite small and lacked drawer space (None) in the entire unit for clothing nor was there a safe to lockup your belongings. It’s too bad the one closet in each room only fit like 4 jackets and didn’t provide more than three hangers. The mattresses in both bedrooms were pretty much placed at ground level which made it more difficult to get up from the bed. Overall, this was a decent suite for a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children) age 11 15.

The place looks like it came from heaven - so so so pretty. And jacuzzi hot tub with bath bomb is a must try. I would say the jacuzzi was the highlight of my stay. I would've given a 5-star if the hotel room was pristine clean. Not a big deal, but there were some areas I wished it was cleaner, like the carpet on the floor (there were some white tiny cottons(?) on black carpet here and there). And the air - not sure if anything can be done about it, but the air in the hallway, elevator, and sometimes in the room does have some musty smell. I would recommend this place to young individuals looking for an "experience", Instagrammable stay. And the front desk staff was extremely kind and courteous.

Prob one of the worst hotel I’ve stayed in, considering the price paid. Never a good night rest for the past 3 nights. - Poor sound proofing (we can hear all the commotion around the hotel - doors knocking, neighbours talking, music and traffic outside all the time) - ⁠Poor beddings, quilt cover is too small for 2 pax, pillow and mattress are hard on top of the smaller bed (smaller than queen size) - ⁠old towels with sides already frayed - ⁠poor cleaning (carpet had white fluffy stuff all over, dusts had accumulated beside the sofa seats that I had to clean myself) - ⁠poor water flow for the tub (it’s only a couple cm deep after filling for an hour and it’s not hot enough.. so we gave up) - poor drainage at shower, water is pooling when showering and any longer the bathroom would have been flooded. - ⁠no place for luggages - ⁠no hooks or bars for hand towel, bath towel, clothes in the toilet - ⁠no toothbrush, basic toiletries set provided - ⁠no light switches beside bed - late checkout is chargeable at KRW 20k per hour - we utilities the complimentary laundry service (2 bags per day) but our sock went missing. Terrible and not recommended!

Room was not clean and looked aged. We did not use the bath as did not seem clean. Was abit disappointed in this stay.

Excellent location. Many shopping and restaurants within walking distance. Room layout is great. Very clean and spacious. We stayed on 8th floor as I read it from the reviews that it’s quite noisy in the night as shops immediately downstairs didn’t close until midnight. Yet I could still hear the noise. Not ideal for light sleepers. I put on ear plugs so not an issue. We stayed in a two bedroom layout and one room does t have windows. Overall I am v happy with my stay.

There are both good and bad about staying at UH suite myeondong Family timber room. The bad things are - there is no ventilation, the rooms are dark and dusty. Cabinets broken. Carpet dirty. Furnitures old and worn off. The only good thing i like about staying at UH Suite, they do the laundry for us, very efficient and we received all laundry cleaned and good smell.

I recently stayed and was utterly disappointed. To my shock, I found a cockroach in my room, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel, especially one that advertises itself as trendy. After a long day of exploring the city, I returned to the hotel looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the spa facilities. Instead, I was met with a distressing situation that made it impossible to unwind. I spent the entire night feeling anxious and uneasy. When I reported the issue to the staff, their response was merely, “apologies for the inconvenience.” This was frustrating and felt inadequate given the severity of the problem. Cleanliness should be a basic standard in any hotel, and I did not expect such a lack of attention at a place like this.

We absolutely loved our stay at UH Suite The Myeongdong! The location couldn't be more perfect—right in the heart of Myeongdong and just a block away from the Myeongdong train station, which made getting around Seoul incredibly easy. We stayed in the Annex Deluxe Family Suite which featured 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The suite was spacious, beautifully decorated, and appeared to be newly renovated—perfect for families or larger groups. The staff were very helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. We especially appreciated being able to borrow umbrellas on a rainy evening and the convenience of storing our luggage after checkout. The only minor issue we encountered was a backed-up drain in one of the showers, which caused some flooding. However, the staff responded quickly and came to check on it. They refreshed our bottled waters and towels daily and cleaned the suite on the 4th day which worked for us. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again. You simply can't beat the central location and great service!

Avoid!!! We got the “Annex” building next to the actual building we saw online. We paid US$500 per night and our rooms have NO windows. There were 3 fake windows that couldn’t even see through them. Room was dark and misty. Drain didn’t work, shower stall have leak. Across the street is a bar / cafe. We don’t even know what it is. Loud music starts early and continues throughout the night. They do offer free laundry but beware!! You get your clothes back so wrinkled that you can even wear them. Also they limit you to 1 bag a day. There is no DND sign. Housekeeping knock on door everyday. Ground floor door is always open. Not secured whatsoever as anyone can walk inside the building. Overall this property did not worth the price!! There are other nicer hotels in the area

The room is clean and spacious. Location of the hotel is great! Only about 2min walk to subway station and to Myeongdong shopping district.

The location of this hotel was really nice, downstairs was very close to the heart of Myongdong wish shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. The staff during the whole process was not particularly friendly but they were great at communication via app which was nice. I like that the whole room was spacious but there is not a comfortable place to sit, there is only one chair facing the TV and the other seats are wooden hard chars around the table so it felt awkward at times. My least favorite part was that I could hear all the movement and conversations of other rooms around us and above us so when they would come back late at night it would wake me up. I also never used the huge tub because the faucet was very weak and took way too long to fill up so I just gave up half way.

I had an amazing experience, the hotel staff made my stay and birthday the best birthday in years. They went the extra mile to make me feel safe, important and happy. Every day they made my experience the best experience that I’ve had at any hotel. I would definitely go back and recommend this hotel to everyone I know.

The front manager Irang was wonderful, she provided us amazing reccomendations and was super friendly :) the place was stylish and comfy, and location was centrally located.

Highly recommend. Location is perfect. Really close to myeondong underground station so easy to go anywhere. It is about 70 m from the myeondong night markets which is perfect. Lots of street food and shopping so close by but far enough to be quiet at night so you can sleep peacefully. Staff were all very polite and helpful. Many thanks especially to Harry at the front desk who went above and beyond to help us with our airline issues. Will definitely stay again when we come back to Seoul.

The property was nice in general however housekeeping may have mistakenly threw away one of my family's personal belongings and was unable to find it.

The staff, even before checking into the unit., was quick to respond to my questions. During our stay they were all so cordial and went above and beyond expectations. We stayed for 5 nights, went to other cities and came back. We had left our luggage while traveling to other cities and when we got back, they already set up our room and brought up our luggage. The laundry service was very helpful too because you don’t really want to overpack as there is so much to buy and take home from Korea. I was recommended by a friend to book this place and I’m so glad we did. Our family of 6 throughly enjoyed our stay!

5 stars for the front desk staff and Manager Taylor. They were very helpful and handled issues promptly. Location is also 5 stars. The property, however, needs upgrades, rooms are small, one tiny mirror for 2 rooms to share. The spa is good, the kitchen is good and the daily supply of bottled water was a nice touch.

The Staff were very nice, helpful, and quick in answering any questions as well as providing recommendations. The rooms were clean and spacious. The location was also perfect!

The room looked nice, but the windows were sliding windows so you could hear the music from the restaurant across the street from 9-midnight as well as the food carts coming and going.
