Had a great experience with art'otel. Spent 2 nights exploring Zagreb. Parking was the only issue. Their parking lot was full and so had to park on the street. Got a parking ticket which wasn't costly but had to figure out how to pay it before leaving the country.

The main choice for us for this was location, and it cant really be beat. 2 minute walk to the main square, 1 minute walk to the main pick up point for a large number of daily tours, and 1 minute walk to the nearby tram stops. The hotel itself is fantastic too, with friendly staff and clean spaces. The room was a great size with modern features like a smart tv, button operated curtains and a large bathroom. The room was clean, decorated well and had everything you needed it in. The hotel also comes with a spa and pool area, which includes a sauna and steam room. The pool is heated, but was still a little bit chilly, and the steam room had a nice eucalyptus in the steam which made it feel much nicer. Overall if we were returning to Zagreb we would look to book this hotel again

Absolutely amazing and 5 Star experience in Zagreb. Property clean and in fantastic shape. Pool and Spa over the top. Kids loved every aspect of it. Special thanks to the folks at the front desk and the gentlemen who operated the pool and spa. Will definitely be back.

Great hotel. Clean room with a very nice layout. Nice in room coffee setup. Very quiet both in room and in the halls. Cool hallway minibar option if you’re looking for a late night drink or snack. The spa was lovely and I had a great massage which I was able to book less than 24 hours in advance. Gym was small but adequate. Very walkable to central area of Zagreb with lots of eateries and a drug store nearby.

Only negative was that the roof top bar was closed for private events for the whole week we were there. This was disappointing as the roof top bar is one of the main attractions of the hotel. They should still have a section for hotel guests even when private events are being held

Ottimo hotel con tutti i servizi (sauna, piscina, palestra). La chicca è stata la colazione, con un ricco buffet e la possibilità di ordinare alla carta piatti ottimi (anche più di uno) e bevande. Il parcheggio forse un po’ costoso (30€ a notte), a 300 mt c’è un parcheggio sotterraneo a 13€ circa.

Very well located near all main attractions. Staff went out of their way to make our stay as good as possible. Convenient check-out at noon makes it easy for people catching flights in the afternoon. Pool and Spa were a nice addition. Good breakfast with a long time slot to choose from.

Very cool vibe and cool room. It was very modern but also cool. Buttons to open the curtains and turn on and off the lights from your bed. There was even a record player with records ! Breakfast was good. Only negative was that the towels were dirty twice . Not sure if they were stained or actually dirty. The housekeeper wasn't very thorough with cleaning ( hair was in the shower from the previous guest before we arrived ) and glasses that we used were not taken from the room and replaced once they serviced it . Otherwise, friendly people and nice hotel .

The concierge and staff at the hotel restaurant were absolutely wonderful! Very helpful, professional and friendly. The hotel room was a bit under stocked. We were missing many toiletries in our bathroom. The cleanliness could have been just a bit better as there were stains on the rug and the shower was a bit dirty. Overall though we were happy with our stay.

Sarah our check-in attendant was really nice. She was the only one so we had to wait about 20 min. Room was nice but the coffee machine is very hard to work and the lights are also too much. We were waiting for our luggage and we were not told it had arrived right away. The cleaning crew was really loud around 10:30 am on 8/29. They need to know that a lot of people are on different time zones.

The good: Location is excellent, right near the city's main square and a short walk from many sights and fun areas of town. The hotel itself is really nice, rooms are clean and new and well designed, pool and gym are very cool. The not-so-good: Staff is generally pretty friendly, but can also be a little dismissive, which we've found to be more or less par for the course in Croatia. Rooftop was closed 'for the season' though there was no notice and all the other outdoor bars and restaurants in town were open. The bad: Try to ensure you have a room that is not facing the "courtyard", which is not a courtyard but a tiny parking lot with views of the next door building's HVAC. If you get one of the studios, which is kind of a mini-suite, then they all face the 'courtyard', so try to at least get one on a higher floor. Conclusion: You're in Zagreb to see the city, not the hotel, so the relatively minor inconveniences of the Zagreb Art'otel are not a big deal; the hotel is still very nice. Enjoy the city, sights, people, food, and have fun in Croatia!

I booked through hotels.com and the dates I booked needed to be changed. Hotels.com they assured me that the reservation was updated and not to worry. When I reviewed this prior to my trip, I didn’t receive a message back and parts of the conversation were deleted. I again was assured it wouldn’t be a problem. I got to the hotel and it was a problem. They charged me for the extra day that I was assured I wasn’t going to pay for months prior. I contacted hotels.com and they contacted the hotel and now the hotel refuses to give me a credit, conversations were deleted and I’m out hundreds. The staff is nice but will talk about you. They thought I didn’t know the language but I did. The hotel is very beautiful and high end but I’d never recommend staying here due to this situation and lack of concern when a problem arises.

I insist you stay here. I stayed in many hotels during a recent trip to Europe, art’otel was my absolute favorite. I am very critical, but the property is truly impeccable with a palpable level of attention to detail to service, the property, and the design. The staff was the nicest group I met, tenfold, and taught me about some of the drinks and foods of Zagreb.

Beautifully appointed hotel close to everything. Room was lovely and the breakfast was amazing- I dream of their tomato focaccia bread. But by far, the best part was the staff- Sarah spent 20 minutes telling us all about the best sites and restaurants and was so helpful. Don’t miss walking down the promenade nearby with all the restaurants- so charming!

Horrible check out. The person at reception told me I have to oay for room service, I told him I paid. I have kept the receipt so I showed the receipt, he told me is not good hr has to go and check at the restaurant. Never felt this way, I have paid and show the bill not to acuse the guest is not true.He comes back after a wile saying there is an error and they are facing it at the restaurant,I asked where is my receipt he went back ti take it. He came again empty hand told me to wait another 5-10 minutes to fix the error.he start raising his voice that is not his fault and is restaurant. No customer service! I stayed many times here, but after this experience, never again.

My stay at Artotel Zagreb was simply excellent. The location of the hotel is unbeatable – central and perfect for exploring all the attractions on foot. The room was superbly equipped, spacious, modern, and left nothing to be desired. The bathroom was a particular highlight: large, spotlessly clean, and extremely comfortable. A special thanks goes to Luka with glasses – he was absolutely professional, helpful, and incredibly friendly. His attentiveness and dedication made the stay even more enjoyable. The breakfast was good, although the selection was slightly smaller than expected. There were items available both from the buffet and à la carte, but at times, we had to wait longer as the staff seemed very busy. Additionally, the breakfast area was relatively small, which sometimes resulted in waiting for a free table. This could be an issue for guests with a tight schedule. Nevertheless, the entire stay was exceptional. The quality of the service and the outstanding location make Artotel Zagreb a top choice. It was a fantastic experience, and I will definitely return!

Sehr nettes Hotel im Zentrum von Zagreb. Sehr nettes Personal. Traumhafte Rooftop Bar mit vernünftigen Preisen. Das Frühstück sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen und etwas Zeit dafür einplanen es ist Mega, es gibt ein Frühstücks Menü wo man zusätzlich zum Buffet noch bestellen kann. Beautiful hotel and wonderful, friendly staff! Breakfast was included in my stay and it was incredible! It had everything and more. Enjoyed the indoor pool. Room was quiet, no noises from outside or from neighbors and bed was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.
