Five Stars ! We stayed here for our 2026 Family Gathering of 16 people from age 2 – 86. We have stayed in VRBO properties once or twice a year 8 years and this was the finest bar none. Plenty of space indoors for meals, relaxation and family fun and the outside amenities are incredible. We had everything needed for meal preparations and seating as well and the teenage kids had a blast from dawn to dark. The game room, pool, hot tube, boat slip and deck were in near constant use. We brought our own boat and the location on the lake was perfect for skiing, cruising and playing in the water. The house was spotless and well supplied with household items. Special kudos to our hosts at Horseshoe Bay Living. They were always available and prompt in response to our questions and needs from the time of booking through the end of our stay. This property is fantastic. It’s as great as pictures make it out to be. Communication with hosts was great. We had our family reunion here. Had plenty of space and right on the water. Great time!

Unbelievable, unbelievable!!! Never been to a house that looked better than listed.. also the management staff was first class and unreal!! I had some last min wishes and they went above and beyond to accommodate!!We will definitely be staying in this house again and deal with the management staff at LBJ lodge again.!!!

Our large, multigenerational family absolutely loved our stay at LBJ Lodge. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and well-maintained. It is even better than the amazing photos. The gathering spaces indoors and outdoors are open and welcoming. Even though there is only one oven, the convection feature worked beautifully. A second refrigerator was a pleasant and welcomed surprise in the fun and large game room. Bedrooms are luxuriously appointed and comfortable. A walk-in closet is provided for the bunks in the shared space. So much to do around the property for all ages. The wading pool was perfect for younger children, while older children and adults loved the water slide and rope swing into the lake. Our youngest fisherman caught and released a lot of fish! We enjoyed s'mores and worship songs around the outdoor firepit, encircled by the beautifully lit swimming pool. It is hard to find words to describe what an extraordinary time we enjoyed here! We were supported throughout our stay by the Guest Experience Team, even on weekends and over the holidays. Small issues discovered along the way were quickly addressed by property managers, often with on-site visits to assess and/or fix the situation. The staff was always friendly, helpful, and professional. We are seriously considering booking this property again!
