Las Brisas Acapulco

This is our "go-to" place for an inspiring resort vacation/retreat. You never need to leave the grounds...or even your room overlooking the bay at sun rise and sunset. You can swim in your private pool day and night. Breakfast coffee and pastry are slipped in the private slot each morning and your outdoor day bed awaits you. But don't miss the fabulous private beach club or the terraced restaurant high above the scenic bay. The owners are investing in the restoration and enhancement of this prized mid-century modern masterpiece. And you get driven all around the resort and beach club in those hyper-cute white and pink jeeps!

We loved Las Brisas. The resort is beautiful and the casitas with their pools and views are beyond words. The private beach (La Concha ) also is very unique. The salt water pool is complimented with a regular pool. The food at the restaurant La Concha and the on site pool is outstanding. We can't say enough positive compliments about the manager, the staff, the bartender Leonardo. The views from the Sunset Bar and drinks are outstanding. There is also a gym, spa, and two restaurants. You never have to leave if you don't want. Just fantastic and relaxing.

Excelente atención de todo el personal, desde recepción hasta limpieza. Maravillosas habitaciones y muy tranquilas. Lo único que mejoraría sería el tiempo de espera del transporte a la casa de playa, ya que aún en temporada baja y con poco movimiento tardaron un poco más de lo deseable en llegar por nosotros. Por lo demás, gran hotel.

La transportación en el interior del Hotel es el único inconveniente, aunque la respuesta del personal es rápida.

This hotel has wonderful staff, beautiful t’rooms and the best views in Acapulco. On top of that they have a private beach club for its customers.

Overall, it's a nice hotel. Great "beach club" area with a nice regular pool plus 2 natural salt water pools. We really enjoyed the larger, deeper salt water pool. The downside is that the beach club is a distance from the hotel property and you need to access via hotel shuttle. The shuttle wait can be 15-20 minutes each time, no option to come and go freely from your room obviously. The room itself was large, king bed with shared pool with one other casita. The room could use some renovation, its dated for sure, but the cleaning staff did a great job. The room was generally infested with ants which was annoying, but it's Mexico, what are you going to do. I did feel they could do a better job controlling them. Leaving food out for even a few minutes anywhere in the room was impossible with the ants. It was nice having the shared pool and the patio of our casita was large and a nice place to sit and enjoy the amazing view. We were high up (so far) from the main reception, dining and gym area. They have jeep shuttles that will pick you up to take you to the main facilities and back. I walked a couple times but it's very steep and would be a challenge for most. The jeep shuttles work, but again, you need to wait when you need a ride. There is nothing in the immediate area in terms of other restaurants or stores. You need to travel down the hill into the Costa Azul zone. It's not walkable so again, you need a car or taxi. Glad we tried it, but we would stay elsewhere next time.

An amazing property with an amazing staff at every turn. Their beach club facilities are spectacular and the views of Acapulco are tremendous. Can you believe they deliver coffee and treats to your private bungalow every morning before breakfast! The overall concept of this facility is daunting and the welcome feel from EVERY employee is genuine. Tiny bit of age condition in the shower. I can't say enough about the thought that went into this design. Oh, you have your own pool to share with only 1 other. Be prepared for a lot of gloss white with pink trim, even on the employees.

Great rooms and decor. Private pool with each room is great! Snorkeling in the partially enclosed ocean pool was great (bring fish food or buy it at the local walmart). Great place and a great value!

Every thing was excellent, that staff was super helpful and friendly, they made sure we were as comfortable as can be. The room was extremely beautiful and clean with amazing views and having a self pool was very nice and relaxing. The amenities were magnificent enjoying the natural environment and nature sea ocean water pool was extremely amazing.. my husband and I had a really great experience with this hotel and definitely come back to it and recommend it. A charming, classic hotel with incredible views This is a beautiful classic–historic hotel, very well maintained and full of character. Since it’s built right on the hillside, every single room has a stunning view of the bay. The rooms are spacious, even the most affordable ones, and each group of two or three “casitas” shares a small semi-private pool, which is a great touch. Every morning they leave complimentary sweet bread and coffee in little compartments by your door — such a cozy detail. The beach club is gorgeous and recently renovated. It has a natural saltwater pool filled with tons of fish, perfect for really good snorkeling, plus a freshwater pool with fantastic views. I found the value for money to be excellent overall. The location is super practical — right between Diamante and Condesa — and the 12pm checkout time is a big plus. Cons: The only thing I didn’t love was the beach club schedule. It’s open from 10am–5pm, and the bar/restaurant doesn’t start serving until noon. Before that, it’s impossible to get even a coffee or a glass of water down there, which can be a bit inconvenient.

Hace falta una limpieza adecuada, los pisos y la alberca los encontramos muy sucios, con muchos insectos.

I have stayed several times at this hotel all my life. I am sad to share that is decadent and in no so good condition. Housekeeping terrible. Otherwise, staff excellent and the views are extraordinary. I will think twice about returning to Las Brisas, so sorry. Such a wonderful location and history becoming decadent and outdated

Muy buen servicio, todo me gusto,solo que hay hormiguitas por todo el cuarto.

El servicio del personal es exelente, muy atentos y serviciales. Lo malo es que las instalaciones les falta mantenimiento, en los cuartos los apagadores no funcinan y los focos descompuestos, las camas igual un poco sucias tube que sacudirlas y echar desinfectante ya que estan desaciadas y me encontre pelos. Las piscinas las limpian pero aun asi se ven turbias. Lo esperaria en hoteles economicos, pero el precio de este para nada lo es. También el club de playa esta muy padre, ahi el personal es desatento, y falta limpieza, dejan las mesas con basura por mucho tiempo, y se va la basura a las posas de agua salada.

This iconic hotel is still gorgeous and the views spectacular. Many room have private pools. The staff are all great! The entire property is spotless!

El servicio y el hotel bien como siempre, lo único es la habitación ya está medio vieja, pague una casita con alberca privada y la casa de arriba su balcón era hacia mi alberca cero privacidad. Pudieron persianas luego del huracán y eso le quita mucho encanto a la habitación. Por lo demás bien

Everything was good except for the Jacuzzi it was broken and that was the main reason I chose that room

Es un lugar increíble con unas vistas preciosas una alberca maravillosa para ti solo la cama es deliciosa las amenidades muy buenas solamente considero que las habitaciones ya necesitan una remodelación ya se ven un poco viejas y en un mundo inclusivo estaría bien considerar rampas para discapacitados

Lo mejor del Hotel son las vistas de las habitaciones.....Mañana, tarde y noche el mar siempre te acompaña desde tu cuarto....Sumado a las albercas privadas, solamente la puedes pasar muy bien....El personal siempre atento y el cafe de las 7 am se agradece bastante...Nos veremos pronto por alla.

En general es un hotel muy bueno. Excelente ubicación, atención y servicio. Reservé una casita con alberca privada y pedí lo más arriba posible y con vista a la bahía... y no fue como yo pensaba... pese a haber ido varias veces sigo sin entender cómo es la distribución de los cuartos. Fuera de eso todo funciona perfecto.

Room was excellent, Staff is excellent, everything was excellent here. The only negative was that these bungalows have steep stairs and no handrails for seniors to hold onto while climbing up and down. That could be a safety concern. Overall this is an excellent place.

Fue una buena estancia. El lugar es muy seguro, muy tranquilo. El Personal es muy amable Lo único que no me pareció es que no respetaron mi reservación para la cena que estaba planeada y tuve que salir a buscar donde cenar. De ahí en fuera, todo perfecto. Volvería sin dudarlo asegurando mi reservación la próxima ocasión

Para el check inn me fue pesimo soy el nivel mas alto aqui en hotels.com y no me dieron esrly check inn de heccho me dieron mi habitacion hasta las 5:00 pm!!! Y llegue de mi vuelo a las 12:00 pm

As with every stay I have taken at Las Brisas (dating back to the early 1970's), this was more of the same. The best food, the best service, far-and-way the best scenery. I just don't know how the Las Brisas can improve!!! Bart McLendon

Nos encantó, muy bien la privacidad, limpieza, la piscina privada, sin embargo si hay cosas que pueden mejorar es el servicio del transporte interno ya que es muy tardado, un par de veces optamos por bajar al gym con nuestro auto por que se tardaban más de 20 minutos en llegar por nosotros. Las bebidas en el club de playa son extremadamente caras y son casi puro hielo (margaritas) ojo allí, el pan y café se lo llevan si no lo tomas a una hora específica. Fuera de eso, esperamos regresar pronto por que nos gustó mucho, no importa que no esté a pie de playa si quieres disfrutar de la tranquilidad y la maravillosa vista de Acapulco.

Todo el personal con una excelente actitud y una atención de primera. Rogelio Ramírez un súper anfitrión, pendiente de cada detalle y siempre atento. Solicitamos room servicie y siempre llegaba en tiempo y los alimentos a buena temperatura y sabor, el personal siempre amable. En el club la concha los meseros siempre atentos y con una sonrisa, a pesar de que están todo el día en el sol, mi reconocimiento y gratitud a su atenciones y servicio. Una pequeña observación, en el restaurante la vista los meseros serviciales; solo que la espera fue demasiado extensa (cerca de 30 min) lo cual puede ser comprensible por la cantidad de huéspedes por atender, el tema fue que tenían más de 3 mesas disponibles y no las “arreglaban” para recibir a los siguientes comensales, considero que es una pequeña área de oportunidad. Pero en general todo excelente, 10/10 en todo! Nos sentimos muy consentidos y por eso es nuestro hotel favorito en Acapulco y sin duda continuaremos visitando, nos encanta! Felicitaciones a todo el staff!!

Había viajado en varias ocasiones a las brisas, está ves todo fue terrible, de miedo! Me entregaron mi habitación hasta las 5 PM, la casita en pésimas condiciones con dos camitas que habían dejado en el pasillo los anteriores huéspedes, el café mañanero nunca llegó, solicitaba cosas al room service nunca llegaron, la casita en pésimas condiciones, el aire acondicionado terrible hubo una gran fuga de agua que inundó la habitación. En fin una terrible experiencia

Para salir y entrar al hotel, la vía es peligrosa, riesgo de accidentes por los autos que pasan a alta velocidad en la escénica, promover un semáforo para seguridad de todos.

It’s far away from town and shopping area It’s about 20 min drive

El hotel tiene una ubicación increíble! Y se ve el esfuerzo que han hecho para que todo esté al 100 después del huracán , solo que El check in no me gusto ya que fuimos los primeros y los últimos en darnos una habitación, entiendo que llegamos antes de las 3 (1:30 pm ) pero la espera fue muy larga y desgastante , veníamos juntos (4) y a unos les tocó abajo con fea vista y ruido de coches y a nosotros arriba con muy bonita vista pero lejos para con los chicos , la movilidad es complicada y más cuando estamos separados y con un solo coche …

La privacidad y la hermosa vista de la Bahía.

aunque es una propiedad ya de muchos años sigue conservando su encanto. limpia, cómoda y excelente servicio. La vista es espectacular. Ideal para escapada en pareja.

Este hotel permanece como una muy buena referencia en Acapulco. Bien ubicado, con maravillosas vistas y un servicio amable y eficiente. Volvería.

Excelente lugar, muy buena atención, pero la comida muy costosa y los taxis demasiado caros, ....5kms= 200.00, 8kms= 250.00, creo que deberían regular los precios de transporte

La vista preciosa, el servicio inmejorable y la comida espectacular.

Awesome Hotel. I always love to come back to this place with the flair of the 50ies and 60ies. Unfortuanately the owners use it as a cash cow with minimum maintenance and sloppy management. We were promissed an afternoon snack that only arrived once. Bathrobes bot existent. One day we had beach towels, the next we did not etc. This did not bother us to much but apparently there is bo quality control in guest services. All employees however were very friendly and helpfull at all times which was hughly appreciated. We will be back anyway but with some investement and better management this could be a crown jewel. Worst thing was the food quality in the Bella Vista Restaurant. We had dinner there and it was outight awfull. Pasta overcooked without salt, completely tasteless and half the ingredients missing (olives and other ingredients only existed on the menu) My wife ordered Risotto and received half cooked saltless rice with some mushrooms on top. The cook ( I doubtctjere was one in the kitchen) apparently had no clue how tonorepare Risotto. Do not eat there please.

Tiempo de espera en Restaurante y pésimo los alimentos

Me encantó !! El personal de lo mejor. Las vistas son un privilegio. La comida 7 !! Hay que trabajar para hacer de esa vista espectacular del restaurante, algo digno de aprovechar haciendo del lugar donde comer de primera. Las hamburguesas la carne terrible , con cebolla perejil y muchos condimentos , muy lejana a una hamburguesa 🍔 tradicional. Menos es más!! Es muy cara la comida y no es deliciosa. De lo demás me encantó y regresaría sin pensarlo solo saldría a comer.

El restaurante muy malo tardado

Lo unico de lo que me quejaria seria el alto precio en el restaurante. De ahi en fuera todo bien.

Excelente nuestra estancia, nos encanta la privacidad del lugar, la limpieza, la amabilidad del personal, el internet, probamos sus nachos para botanear muy buenos y las piñas coladas muy ricas.

La atención del personal y servicio es excelente. El hotel hermoso como siempre pero falta un poco de mantenimiento. Los alimentos en restaurante y club de playa caro y no muy bueno.... el buffet/desayuno con pocas opciones (no hay hot cakes o waffles que es básico) y los alimentos de mediana calidad (dos tipos de pan únicamnente y duro... el pan dulce poco y de calidad regular)

El servicio muy bueno y la actitud inmejorable por parte del personal. El restaurant no tiene mucha variedad y los horarios para consumir alimentos no es muy flexible. Tratamos de comer a las 5 de la tarde y el restaurant ya no tenía servicio hasta la hora de la cena. Para los desayunos incluyendo sábado y domingo nadie nos avisó que había bufete en el restaurant principal. Si uno trata de agregar unos huevos al desayuno continental que viene incluido el precio es igual que pagar un desayuno completo. etc. En el tema de la habitación contratamos una que tenía jacuzzi y alberca pero la vista no era la mejor, ya que solo podíamos ver indirectamente el mar. Hay habitaciones más baratas que tienen vista completa a la costera.
