Stayed for one night. Functional room & close to plenty of restaurants & food places. Parking bays tight when vehicles either side of yours. Seemed like there was going to be a refurbishment happening as there were boxes of tiles in & around parts of the buildings. Front staff helpful if slightly difficult to understand at times.

Good: Microwave oven. toaster. staff. Cost. parking. Easy walk to places. Easy to drive into and out of. Very comfortable bed. Clean. Minus (with the price and everything else, acceptable. Very small room. Recap: I intend to stay here again and have recommended it to my friends.

Old dated motel, needs a lot of work. Cleaning not thorough. Furniture didn't fit the room. Always having to move chairs out of the way to get where I needed to be.

Carpet needed a good clean. Maybe is going to be replaced. Appeared to be some work going on with updates since last time I stayed there. Close to King William Road and good strip shopping and eateries. Jasper street is very quiet Budget priced.

The following didn't work - key pad on entry door, the iron, the TV, powerboard constantly tripped, had to boil the kettle in the bathroom. The whole room is DIRTY!! Room 11, it will be a long time before I forget that room no.

It was inexpensive but extremely run down. Bed linen & towels were satisfactory however fittings in the bathroom were badly stained and badly in need of upgrading, includes basin, lavatory pan & shower curtain. Same applies to window fittings as well as quality of crockery etc. We found receptionist difficult to communicate with. Will not be returning.

For the cost of the room it was fine - the shower was hot and constant, the bathroom clean and the heater in the room was working well. however the bed was not very comfortable, the towels were very small and thin.

The unit has been upgraded since I last stayed about a year ago, but still some minor issues such as no soap holder in the shower and I had to borrow a double adapter power plug to charge the iPad and use another electrical appliance at the same time. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cleanliness and layout were fine. As was the service. I am afraid the renovation mentioned in previous reviews is not great. The micro venetian blinds within the double glazed windows do not keep out the morning light very well. On the other hand the lighting in the bathroom for the only mirror was inadequate for make up and other toilette. Unfortunately the walls are not up to keeping any noise, even at modest volume, from neighbouring units private.

Goid stay, would stay again. Good area, lots of cafes,bars & restaurants. Room was nicely renovated. Could do with ceiling fans instead of air conditioning all night! Couple of wine glasses in room would be nice! Shampoo etc in shower would have been useful.

Very outdated, needs urgent attention to rooms & outside. Very noisey. Heater took forever to heat, shower hot/cold/hot and zero pressure. Overall served our purpose but wouldn't recommend or stay again.

Charged extra for a triple room cause we had 3 people staying cause apparently our booking rate was for 2 people but that makes no sense… why would we book a 3 bed room for only 2 people??? Then we had to ask for more sugar to go with our coffee and the owner reluctantly handed over 2 tiny packets, honestly it was all so unwelcoming and really disappointing.

This place is awful - even though it's dirt cheap it's still not value for money. Threadbare linen on an awful mattress in a barren room. I routinely grab cheap accom when travelling and fine with it, but this place is best avoided. Outside of the below expected conditions of the room, the service was rude upon arrival, and then unavailable when you have an issue. Look elsewhere!

Unfortunately I was not happy from the moment I arrived at the property. Following flying in from the Gold Coast, I arrived at the property and stood around for 20 minutes, ringing the bell in the office and calling the phone with no success of being served. The room itself wasn’t too bad. Expect a person called “DiDi” trying to connect to the TV and control it. The blanket is too heavy and feels like someone is holding you down, the bills feel like they’re just folded up blankets. There are no windows that can actually open and allow air flow, so if there is a fire at the front door, you are dead because you can’t get out of the windows. The new blinds don’t allow privacy and the room could be seen from the outside of the room. The morning of check out, we woke at 5am, jumped in the shower and 30 seconds in, the water went stone cold!!! And did not go back to got AT all. It was freezing, and absolutely not cool. I felt rude by needing to use the air dryer at stupid o’clock in the morning to get myself warm again.

The office closed at 7:00pm, although our reservation said it closed at 8:00pm. We had great difficulty obtaining access to our room! It took repeated phone calls over almost an hour before anyone would answer. Most unsatisfactory!

Jasper Inn is in an ideal location 10 mins from the CBD. It is priced fairly for the stay due to the age. Could benefit a bigger fridge , cooking facilities and washing up basin. We would return again

I travel to Adelaide often during winter and try to stay at the Jasper because it has a great location, it is comfortable safe and warm. There's a nice pub with great food nearby and king william road hyde park has top restaurants within a short walk. The renovations are in full swing so i was lucky to get a room. Very happy.
