Great location on a canal. Lobby area was relaxing and had coffee, limited drinks including beer. We we on the top floor, third, and had to schlepp 5 bags up the narrow and small steps. Two of the suitcases were 50 lbs each No elevator/lift. Pretty tough….. I was told the building was 600 yrs old. Thus the rooms were SMALL. The bathroom was tiny. Our bed was two twins pushed together. I found on my own a smaller courtyard area off of the second floor. Area should be upgraded for a pleasant outdoor experience. I would rate the overall room a 4/10. Location saved the trip experience.

Great location, super kind staffs, comfortable room and beds. The breakfast is basic but serves the purpose. PS. the only thing I might complain is that even today, I still get the guest invoices of unknown persons in my email box on daily basis LOL.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had no fridge so I had to go downstairs every morning for fresh milk for tea. It was actually quite noisy and we were woken 2 out of 3 mornings. It lacked atmosphere and felt more like a 3 star than a 4 but the room was clean and comfortable and the location was good.
