Awesome hot tub facility, with steam & sauna rooms, except towels should be in the area, not at the front desk. We had a loft room with three double beds and it was very comfortable for our family. Very friendly staff The Parkade also fits a regular half ton pick up, which is nice

Lovely hotel with easy underground parking included in the price. Easy to walk downtown (approx. 10 mins) and lots of options for taking public transit. Hotel was easy to find and staff were helpful. Only down vote is that it lists a pool, but it’s more like a large hot tub…

The room was comfortable, but you could hear everyone and everything in the hallway. The door may as well not have been there. The room was right beside the elevator. We were so exhausted that we slept well, but when we were in the room not sleeping, you could hear everything. The underground parking was convenient, just need to be very careful in there. Limited space!

We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. It would have been nice to have robes in the room to walk to and from the spa. The floor in the change room was very wet and slippery. possibly some slip mats would be good to prevent falls

Beautiful views. The room was nice, clean. However, there was no microwave in the room. Property was walking distance to shops, restaurants and easy access by transit! Restaurant on site but only open for dinner. We had to leave the restaurant for breakfast and lunch.

The room was comfortable, the bed comforter was fluffy and warm, the jacuzzi was great, and the underground parking was great in the snow. The staff were very helpful and friendly too!

Nice hotel overall. No pool but the hot tub was big and also has a sauna and a steam room. Some maintenance on loose shower handles could be done, one in the mens bathroom for the spa area and in our room 229. A design flaw that i found annoying was the placement of the wall mounted shampoo and conditioner, its mounted in the shower right beside you at elbow height so you keep hitting it in the already claustrophobic shower space. The sink would also fill up while brushing your teeth. A little routine maintenance on each room would make you guys top notch. Besides that, I would stay here again. Good price point. The Carlitos restaurant attached had really good pizza too.

Nice hotel with clean quiet rooms and within walking distance of shopping and dining. Comfortable beds, good daily cleaning service, very helpful and friendly staff. Paid parking is $20CAD, but we found parking on the streets for most of our stay. Jacuzzi is okay and saunas (steam and dry) work well.

Pros-comfy beds and quiet room, Keurig coffee machine, hot tub, on street parking available for no charge. Ice machines on floors 1 & 3. Cons- a bit of a walk to town and further to the Bow River, charging for parking (underground), sauna wasn't working. Spa hours start at 10 AM which is a deal breaker for me. Spa needs a cool plunge to counter the very hot tub and steam room. Walk through the spa to get to change room. For what I paid, I expected a better set up. Plus too much promotional of their in house restaurant (open at 5 pm).

My stay at the Banff Inn was good. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable (although my husband found it a bit too soft). The front desk staff were polite and professional. One point to note is that parking was not included; the hotel description mentioned that parking was available, but did not specify that it required payment. This was fine for me, but paid underground parking may be inconvenient for some guests. Additionally, the hotel is a bit far from most of Banff’s shops, restaurants, and commercial areas. It’s within walking distance — about a 15-minute walk from the start of the main commercial area — but it’s something to keep in mind if you prefer to be closer (or during winter, that walk in a -25 degree Celsius can be challenging - in our case :D ). Overall, my experience was positive. I would recommend the Banff Inn and would consider staying there again in the future.

It was very clean and updated. The staff were very helpful and friendly.

This hotel was ok. Found toe nails on the floor in our room, which was gross. Hotel is old and beds were semi-comfortable. Staff wouldn’t deliver coffee pods to room, had to go get them from front desk. Not worth the expensive nightly rate but unfortunately it’s Banff.

Bathroom could be cleaner.

Clean room and common areas. We enjoyed the whirlpool, steam room and the onsite restaurant.

Hair is found at multiple areas on the bed, will not coming back.

Please search hard and book elsewhere. Dirty and old room. Never have I overpaid this much for a subpar accommodation of this nature. Dirty toilet and carpet. Moldy tub. Leaking ceiling. Will never recommend.

The shower head was so gross covered in build up and the hot tub area isn’t very well maintained. For over $400 a night I expected more

Nice spacious room

We booked this property given its high rating on Expedia but unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations. The sound proofing in the room was non-existent and we could hear our neighbours talking and also the main doors of other rooms on our floor closing through the night and into the morning. Room was spacious and the bed was comfy but oddly, it did not come with a kettle and the bathroom sink was unusually low. The property was also further from the central Banff area (around 1km) than we expected and we ended up driving there to dine and paid for the parking instead of walking.

Loved the loft, it fits the whole family without having to book separate rooms. The only issue I had was the air conditioning was so loud at night and one of the beds kept squeeking. Otherwise its a convenient and decent hotel

Friendly staff, good location, clean washroom. Generally I like the place. However, the housekeeper did not clean the room daily for my stay. There is no drink water or microwave stove in the room, which are needed for travelers.

Staff were friendly and the room was nice overall. However, it would have been great to have a microwave in the room, as well as disposable slippers for accessing the spa. There were also no tea bags provided—only two sachets of coffee. The biggest disappointment was the spa. We booked this hotel specifically to use the spa facilities, but we tried twice to use the sauna and steam room and both times they weren’t warm at all. These should really be switched on in the morning so they’re ready for guests by 10am. We did use the hot tub but it was quite cold and would be much more enjoyable if it were warmer.

Room was great, perfect layout for our situation with loft and 3 queen beds. Easy walk into town and ski shuttle pick up next door was very handy.

Clean room and comfortable beds. Front desk staff were very accommodating when we asked to check in early. Although the room is spacious, there is only one small bathroom, so for 5 of us it was a bit of a squeeze, but perfect for one night.

We arrived prior to check in time – 4 pm and we were asked to check in at/or after 4 pm as per check in time. We went back after 4 pm, and at check in we were told that we have been upgraded to a Deluxe room (booked Standard room),with 2 queen beds. What were not told is that the room is across the reception desk. We walked in the room, and we noticed right away that it is a bit noisy. We asked the receptionist if we can switch the room because we found it nosy, and we were told that the hotel is sold out and there is nothing that can be done. We opened the window to get some fresh air, in front of the window is a smoking bench, and the smoke from the cigarette was coming through the window, we could not open it any longer since the people were there for a long time. Throughout the night there was constant traffic in and out, and the noise from people rolling their suitcases kept us awake. At 5:50 am a travel group of maybe 25 people were gathered in the lobby awaiting the restaurant to open speaking loudly. It felt like we were sleeping in the lobby surrounded by the group. After sharing the experience with the receptionists, they suggested that we could close the emergency door to avoid the noise, they apologized and said that they will note on the file. The room itself was ok, however, the upgrade was unfortunate for us, because all we got is a sleepless night, no fresh air,and no option to move or cancel the Res.even tough we knew it will be noisy.Stay away from # 131.

Friendly and accommodating staff

I prepaid for my extra guests and ihe inn tried to charge me again for extra guests. I showed my receipt and they fixed their etror, so beware, bring your receipt!

Checking in I had a problem with my bank overseas doing maintenance the reception staff were super helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. Close enough to walk to where we needed to go. Overall a very enjoyable stay

We are not sure of our reason of us visiting Banff three years in a row is. Is it to see Banff or to see Elmer at the Banff inn?! We love Banff but the main reason that we think we love coming back to the Banff inn is that it literally feels like home. The professionalism of booking from start to finish with Elmer just takes the stress away whilst planning our holiday. He is super helpful, extremely knowledgeable, always smiling, very proactive in helping all guests with ease and speed. He takes pride in his job and the company values. A great asset to the Banff Inn. The rooms are clean, comfortable and all the rooms have good natrual daylight as well as good lighting. The bathrooms are clean and have space to put your toiletries in. You have to pay for parking now which is a negative for us as we first choose this hotel for its free parking. The rates are too high so you have factor this into your budget if your staying for a week. We found food left on the floor in the carpark for 3 days that had not been cleaned up despite them jet washing one side of the car park. The car park used to always be clean. We heard from another guest there's new management. My suggestion is that they keep the all the previous staff and run it the way it has been. Making changes is not what this property needs in terms of staffing it needs to maintain its original standards because its the perfect place to stay. All the staff make sure of that. Thank you for always looking after us.

When checking in, I wasn’t told that I had to pay for parking. Upon checkout, I was surprised to receive a $63 bill for parking. When I told the lady at the front desk that no one warned me during check in, she didn’t care and still charged me for it. Had I known, I would have parked in the street for free.

An excellent hotel. Elmer really makes this place shine!!! Ever helpful and always cordial, he truly makes you feel like you’ve just come home. Banff Inn would not be what it is without him! Another note is location. Not far from the city center, but far enough to where it’s relatively quiet, it’s a nice balance.

Front desk staff were rude, short and unaccommodating. I called ahead for early check in and staff said they could not guarantee that it would be ready as it was a full house, I was okay with that. Upon arrival, my room was not ready however two other couples were checking in early and their rooms were ready. I am not happy with my overall experience at this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Banff Inn. The location is conveniently located within walking distance of the downtown but in a quieter area. Parking was convenient. The staff is very friendly and the Junior Suite was beautiful and spacious.

I stayed at this hotel in 2023 and returned again this year not just because the hotel in my opinion is in the best location but also has really lovely staff, Elmer Pimentel in particular. Elmer was the the main reason we returned to the Banff inn. He helped with my booking a year in advance to ensure we had the perfect room etc and helped with local recommendations on where to eat. He is really knowledgeable about the area and is always will to help and advise with a smile. The hotel in just at the end of the main town and a short walk in. Its easier to park at this end of Banff town too incase the hotel car park is full. The rooms are nice and bright. They have been recently renovated. The views are lovely. The hotel has a lovely Italian restaurant which is run independently. The also cater for breakfast in this restaurant. I would most definitely return to this lovely hotel. I like the fact it has a cosy intimate feel and its location but also the fact that staff like Elmer take all stress out of booking.

We stayed for 3 nights at the Banff Inn in May. It was a short 10-15 min walk into the main Banff downtown area where all the shops & restaurants were. We easily parked for free on a side street nearby. The room was a decent size and was clean. We had a nice view of a mountain out of our window. We would stay here again.

Nice quiet 3 star hotel. Needs something done with the small restaurant….mainly just pizza. Hotel heating is loud enough to wake you up…really needs an upgrade. Otherwise, the hotel is situated with all other hotels in Banff and the city buss system will get you in and out of shopping area and to other tourist sites such as a Banff Gondola, Lake Louise etc.

The hotel is very nice and the rooms are well appointed. We had a corner room upstairs, so no noise from neighboring rooms - that was nice. The only thing I didn't like was that they had no place inside for breakfast. There was a small pizza place off the lobby, but you had to walk a couple doors down the street to another hotel if you wanted something to eat in the morning or at lunch. Not fun when it is cold and snowing outside! The pizza place was good, but didn't open until 5:00.

I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The service was exceptional! The rooms were clean, tidy, and modern. Parking is at a premium in that area, so be prepared to walk or pay for overnight underground parking. I did not dine in the restaurant, and I was sad that they were not open for breakfast anymore.
