We love, love, LOVED our stay at Canoe Suites. Such an awesome hotel that is close enough to downtown to enjoy the town but far enough away to feel unplugged at the end of the day. While we had a car, we used the shuttle to avoid parking issues. The views were spectacular. Highly recommend!

I had to notify front desk that women’s shower and bathroom area by hot tub 5th floor the showers were not clean. There was black dirt/mold in shower corners…they did clean them after I told them. The soap dispensers were not working …no soap. The soap dispensers in lobby women’s bathroom were also empty. Pretty important to have. Otherwise…we enjoyed our time

Staff was super friendly. The restaurant had good food but service was very slow. The waiter was super nice but we had to flag them down to order, to get more drinks and to get the check. Location to town was perfect. Bus stop was right out front but the walk wasn't bad either.

Not a good stay. Small dark rooms, beds were hard, carpets worn and overall just kind of rough. Hotel is a maze, and difficult to navigate and staff seems to be annoyed with having to explain it. Facilities were not well maintained, with tattered pieces, lots of weeds growing where landscaping is supposed to be, corroded stuff all around hot tubs, hot tub temperatures fluctuated wildly… some days closer to a warm pool temperature, and some days so hot it was difficult to get into.

The hotels is way over priced for a very ordinary hotel. Room was only fair. Towels were thin.
