Outdated but clean. We stayed in a suite with no closet or desk. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is good—about a 10-minute walk to the main area. It was a bit noisy since it’s right on Banff Avenue, and you could hear people talking or yelling as they passed by. Overall, it was worth the money since I didn’t want to stay in Canmore.

Room was clean. Staff was polite, but front desk for check-in was in another building in Irwin hotel, so a short was required. In total everything was good.

Things need updating. Nothings been changed in years. No one at the front desk need to go to the next hotel for that. We got an outside room, we were under the impression this was a hotel with inside rooms. Would not have booked there had we known that.

Parking was easy, around the back. My vehicle was too tall for the underground so I didn't get to try that. Property is old. Room have very little storage. There were 2 coat hooks for the 4 of us. No closet. No luggage rack. Bathroom had no counter space, we kept all the toothbrushes on the TV stand. It had a mini fridge, microwave, and Kerig. The washroom door hinge was loose so door didn't easily close. Caulking around the tub needs to be refreshed, it was breaking apart and black. Window did not close tightly so we could hear all the noise from outside. I probably won't stay here again, even though they are one of the cheapest in Banff, there's a reason. I will say this. They are conveniently located on the strip. It's easily walkable everywhere in downtown. Park here for free, walk everywhere.
