The location of the Arnos Manor is excellent and ideal for my business trip. The hotel is an older building, so on a warm summer evening, ventilation and cooling were always going to be a bit more difficult. The facilities were good and the staff were really friendly, helpful and responsive. I had a good stay and would definitely consider the hotel next time I am down in Bristol.

We booked two rooms for our family stay. The smell in our room was so intolerable that we couldn't even sit in it; we were forced to stay in my mum’s room until 1:00 AM and only returned to our room purely to try and sleep. The sulphur fumes were so intense that the odour completely permeated all of our clothes and belongings. Because we were told at check-in that the hotel was completely full, a room move was not possible. Although the hotel has a lot of historical traits, it lacks in general upkeeping, maintenance and cleanliness.

Not good value for money anymore, shouldn’t have to pay for parking if you are staying there. Room tired and so hot as no air conditioning, 2 fans just didn’t help. So dates in the rooms. Communal areas ok. Breakfast buffet is very average, and not great quality. Stay for here as convenient for work but probably won’t come back again.
