The hotel is very well situated for Temple Meads Station and the bus stop for the Airport bus. I would've liked the bar to be open longer as in a lot of Hiltons it stays open till 12/1am. Nice and quiet and comfortable. Friendly staff too.

Great location for the harbourside area of Bristol. Great room, with all the room facilities we needed. The aircon was awesome given it was the hottest weekend of the year. Just a couple of small downsides. One lift out of order the whole weekend meant that queues were frequent for the only other lift. Then a very limited availability at breakfast. No fresh breads, limited options for vegetarians with the cooked breakfasts. Surely a hotel of this standard/cost would have an omelette station? These are just minor niggles however.

Great staff, really friendly & couldn't have been more helpful. Lovely breakfast with excellent choice. Brilliant location for getting around Bristol. We met friends there and my only negative is that the bar area is cold & the furnishing doesn't help as it is drab. Twice we headed for the bar & left after 1 drink & went elsewhere as it was so chilly in there.

Bed Rooms were really cold and noises. Was attending a conference and even that meeting room was freezing. Heating doesn’t come on until end of October so even if you crank up the air conditioning it blows cold air. Food was beige and terrible at the conference. Everyone complaining.

I really enjoyed the gym facilities & the lovely staff for breakfast in the morning. Loved that check-out was from 12:00 which meant I could work in the morning. Would recommend to business travellers & super convenient. Will stay again.

Worst water pressure I've experienced in a hotel, booked in for two people but only given over bath towel, no shower gel in the dispenser, TV in position that made it unwatchable. Great sized room though!

I booked two queen size rooms. The queen size rooms are basic, and old fashioned When we checked into the rooms, one of the bedrooms had a terrible smell of damp - i called reception and they moved one of the rooms and upgraded to a king size room. There were four of us in our party I gave the king room to the other couple we were with. When we went to see their room, it was like stepping into another hotel all together. The difference! The queen rooms are dated, dark and not very nice. The king rooms are modern, and more spacious I feel that for a four star hotel, not having tea and coffee in the queen rooms gives the hotel a three star feeling. Overall if booking this hotel do not opt for the queen rooms. They are not nice at all.

Whilst the hotel was clean and the staff very friendly we had issues with the bathroom. The shower stall leaked creating a swimming pool on the bathroom floor that we had to wade through for the rest of our stay.

The hotel was very comfortable and the blackout curtains worked very well! It's in a marvellously central area handy for lovely pubs and shopping. The only problem was a huge crack in the bathroom basin on which my wife snagged her hand.

Will never stay here again, it felt dirty throughout, grubby carpets and worn decor. To top that my shower was cold in the morning. When I told the receptionist she pulled a face and said she would get maintenance onto it. She had no training in how to deal with my complaint

Overall our short stay was good. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hotel is well located for the city centre, just a few minutes walk from the station. The room was let down by an annoying rhythmic knocking sound coming from the air conditioning vent. Also, whilst general the room and shower was clean, the shower could have done with a deeper clean as there were signs of mould on the grout.

Fantastic check in. Friendly welcome. I extended my stay one night and gentleman on reception remembered me (name started with an M). A credit to the hotel. Close enough to walk from temple meads station. I'd consider driving also as the spaces looked large enough for modern cars. Would stay again. Only slight downmark was i think the housekeeper left a long hair in my sink when cleaning it which wasn't there after the 1st night. Apart from that mishap- spotless

We stayed at the Doubletree Hilton hotel for 1 night and were very pleased. We booked a standard room which was clean and had all the necessary accomodations you would expect (water cooker, coffee, tea, iron, ironing board, vault,…). The room itself was rather small (we travelled with 1 large suitcase, 1 small and 2 backpacks) but the layout of the room was good providing even enough space next to the bed to open the large suitecase. There were enough power supplies (we counted 14 power outlets in total) which also contained an USB-A outlet. The bathroom was compact but there was plenty of space to place your toiletries. Showergel, shampoo, handgel and body lotion were all present. The breakfast was well organised and quite complete: english breakfast, bread, several serials, meat, cheese, several juices, a wide arrangement of fruits, yochurt and cakes. The hotel is also located at a busstop for the A1 which drives directly from and to the airport, which is very convenient. Overall there was nothing to fault. I had a good night sleep and an enjoyable stay.

Rooms at one end of the building are exposed to traffic noise from a big road outside. We were told at the reception that we would get a quiet room, but we got one of the most noise exposed ones. The next day we were offered a trial and error process with various rooms, because the reception staff evidently could not connect room numbers to various parts of the building

Our king size bed was extremely comfortable including the pillows. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Hotel parking although an extra charge was very convenient and hotel location was within walking distance from the harbour side area of Bristol. The warm cookies provided on check-in were a pleasant surprise!

I arrived late to the hotel and wanted to order room service. The method to this is (scan the QR code) far from intuitive and merely takes you to Hilton's main website where the menu couldn't be located. I thought I will just call reception, only to discover the room phone was inoperable, leaving me to call reception using my mobile and asking for the menu to be described to me. I was able to eventually order some food, but the whole process isn't great, twinned with the inoperable phone wasn't a great experience

Brilliant service, including a shout out to Anastasia who checked us out and the gentleman that checked us in. Very friendly and helpful. Room was really nice, clean and modern with facilities available. Breakfast was offered as an add on as well. Staff were super friendly and helpful, offering directions to the theatre and into the shopping centre. Parking was onsite and very accessible. Highly recommend!

When I saw my work event was being hosted at a Hilton, I had certain expectations of a nice, clean, modern hotel. However, this particular Hilton did not meet those expectations. The main issues were trays from other people's room service being left out in the corridor for extended periods of time, which just looked messy, spelling mistakes on posters (e.g. in the lift regarding the restaurant), and being bothered by staff early morning. On the latter point, this happened twice - the first time was due to reception not linking two bookings properly (despite telling me it was fine) and confused cleaning staff arriving to change over the room (made more difficult by the limited English skills of the cleaners), and the second time, it was 08:15 on the day of checkout (the checkout time is 12 noon) and a woman was going round knocking on doors to check occupancy. I really didn't appreciate an early morning wakeup for no good reason when I was having a rare lie in. Overall, it's fine but nothing to write home about.

Heating in the room did not work. Asked if we would like a blanket in a cold room. Said no as did not want to sit with a blanket around me . So they moved us rooms but offer no help to move luggage and they knew my husband had mobility issues which is why we asked for a room near the lift Moved us to another room 3 floors down and at he end of the corridor I appreciate they may not have another room near the lift but a bit of help to move luggage would have helped. Also told to return the old key to reception. So that meant 3 trips along the corridor to return key. Surely they could have offered some help. Girl in reception was not very friendly

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from the main station which was convenient for me. Inside it looks like it had been refurbished recently as everything was pristine. I wasn't driving but it did have a large car park (I think you have to pay though). The room was comfortable, nice bathroom and breakfast was good.

Staff was very professional, welcoming and polite. Really good location- walkable distance to train station (5mins) without the noise of trains and city centre is 10 mins walk. Highly recommended.

The hotel staff were great and polite. Checked in quickly and off to our room. The room was very clean and very comfortable and we got an upgrade. Amazing shower!!! The breakfast was good choices and although the coffee machines died, they were fixed and ready to go in a few short minutes. Of course, there is a parking charge as this chain jumps on the greed band wagon but hey ho. £16 a night is a bit steep for a parking bay that requires no maintenance or overhead.

Comfortable stay in air-conditioned room. Plentiful breakfast. Ate in both the Kiln restaurant and the bar. Adequate choices. Food nicely cooked. Excellent staff. My only criticism is that cleaners did not follow the eco- protocols and provided clean towels daily when not necessary.

We were late for a party due to traffic but needed a quick snack Girls in bar very helpful and friendly but let down by possibly the worst mozzarella panini I have eaten3 miniscule shaving of cheese green blob of something & a few taco crisps very dry & not worth £12

Room was very clean, comfortable bed, breakfast choice excellent!! The bathroom products were of great quality and unlike many hotels, the shampoo, shower gel, body lotion and hand wash were full big reusable bottles Crabtree products.
